This typical business hotel is very well located and offers some nice views. The rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is super ! Meals for bigger groups vary between acceptable and ok, as typically the hot dishes aren't really hot. But overall, quite happy to have stayed there.

Stayed here in a deluxe room. Fabulous, never seen such a huge bed and oh, those sheets and quilts, it was like being wrapped in silk. I've never seen as many complimentary goodies in the bathroom. Great breakfast, such choice and even on busy mornings the restaurant is run in military fashion. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful. A memorable 4 days. Thank you every one. 10 out of 10.

This is a lovely hotel. Rated only 4 stars, but for me its better than a 4 star hotel. The room overlooking the sea is beautiful. Bathroom and amenties, superb. bed quality excellent. pool area ok, but totally fine by me. Nothing fancy but ok. The 14 Euro breakfast is excellent and it should carry you until dinned. the 14 euro Burgers for lunch, not worth it. Stick to the breakfast and but some water elsewhere because at the hotel its expensive. I would defenitely recommend Melia, its a grea... Read more

Our second time at a Melia hotel and certainly not our last. Great hotel with a good size room with a wonderful view from the terrace of the Mediterranean. A 10 minute walk to the beach (clothing optional) and about a 20 minute walk into town. The staff was extremely helpful through our entire stay. The breakfast buffet was one of the best that I have ever seen in any hotel. Only thing that I would have wanted is at least one English speaking non-news TV channel and a store where you can bu... We enjoyed the location being slightly out of town, the marina and the short walk into town gives Sitges a wider dynamic. The bedroom was a little tired but large and airy. The other hotel facilities are clean and sleek befitting the conference agenda. The breakfast area and breakfast was strong. The pool was surprisingly quiet and no towel hogging. Lunch and drinks are good value. All the staff were friendly. It's a safe hotel, nothing exceptional and nothing terrible.

The hotel is lovely if a little out of the way. Beautiful pool and well maintained rooms. Staff could not be more helpful, and the 10euro per day to spend when booking directly is a lovely touch. However had a major issue with the air conditioning in the room. When it was on water was dripping loudly onto the floor in the hallway and door frame (floor totally soaked, so much so that cleaner left a towel on floor throughout stay). This is clearly an on-going issue as the wood in ceiling has buckl... Read more

A cool sea breeze passes though the screenless window with a view of the mountains on the balcony. The room is subdued, peaceful - like a retreat house. The staff is discrete. Breakfast is a surreal smorgasbord of international choices. The nearby town has a very spiritual Catholic Church. The train depot is a 0.5 mile walk, connecting to Barcelona. Wonderful, memorable - superb.

It might look impressive in the brochure put this hotel is visibly dated. Visible wear and tear made the hotel resemble a 3-star hotel. Spent a week in Sitges in August. The overall hotel experience was excellent. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean, and the attention to detail was excellent. Breakfast could have been better, but don't be put off, this hotel is well worth it.

Visited with our 4 children two weeks ago. An excellent hotel. Staff were all very professional. Restaurant manager went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after. Our room was cleaned to an exceptional standard. Perfect hotel for a peaceful holiday.

From my point of view this hotel has very nice installations and the staff is quite friendly but I suggest you to consider: a) The access to the gym is paying. 9 euros fee per day. However on the Melia website or Melia Rewards they missed to mention this detail. b) The elevators were constantly out of service. c) There‚??s nothing to prepare yourself a cup of tea or coffee d) The AC is loud and dusty. e) The food is expensive and not worthy, I recommend you to go out and discover the local cu... As a gay couple we stayed here in July/August 2016 and I will give credit where it is due - the rooms and the breakfast are fantastic, and if you like to JUST sit by a pool or on the Balmains Beach (Fine with nudism & with a predominantly gay section) then this is the hotel for you! HOWEVER this is very much a Conference Hotel with little character, particularly in the lobby. It is also a good 20 to 30 minute (not very attractive in the dark) walk from the centre of town and all the nightlife.... Read more

At the end of the sandy promenade which leads down from the busy old town towards the port.A big hotel that doesn't feel too big or busy.Lots of marble flooring and spotlessly clean.Staff are consistently welcoming, attentive and friendly .We had a standard room which still had a sea view but no coffee and tea facilities which is a first for us in a high end 4star..... Although there is no complimentary water in room, lots at breakfast and some fruit flavoured water for guests in reception whic... Read more

The hotel is situated on the edge of Sitges main town near to balmans beach. It cost about 8 euros by taxi to the center of Sitges. Otherwise it's about 10 minute walk, maybe longer depending on fitness. The hotel has a nice pool with nice lawn around it, albeit in need of some attention due to bald patches which the gardener is clearly trying to rectify with seed. The rooms are just the right size for two with a relatively spacious terrace. No tea making facilities but there is a mini bar. T... Read more

We love returning again and again to the Melia in Sitges. The whole experience is comfort and ease. The building, staff and location are top quality and the services are excellent. Very much to be recommended. We are already planning to return again.

we come here for a couple of years now, meanwhile all rooms are refurbished. Rooms in different categories, if your budget allows go for an upper floor with sea-view. Hotel is often booked for conventions and weddings that have parties by the pool, it may get noisy for pool-view and sea-view rooms. Breakfast buffet is perfect, good choices and order your omelet as you like. It is a 15 minutes walk to the town center along the sea with nice views and through some pretty narrow streets by the chur... Read more

My two children and I stayed at the Melia Sitges from 21 to 27 August 2016 hoping for a quiet, relaxing break in high quality accommodation. We paid ‚?¨ 309 per room per night (we had two rooms so ‚?¨618 per night for three of us) including breakfast and we prepaid in order to secure this 'discounted price'. We had inter-connecting rooms as requested and my children's bedroom was lovely, mine however was so small that you could barely walk around the small double bed. My husband was not with us ... Super nice place to stay - very friendly front desk staff, breakfast buffet is excellent. Restaurant is a little expensive, and service is friendly but haphazard. Standard room was not large, but had a large balcony with sea view (3rd floor)...lovely hotel in many ways and an easy walk to the beach...beautiful pool...great experience!

Stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Barcelona. We had been in some small, boutique properties prior to arrival in Sitges so we were ready for a full-service hotel with all of the bells and whistles, which the Melia provided. Rooms are quite spacious and well-furnished, with large balconies (ours overlooking the sea, city and sunset. Breakfast buffet was extensive and well-prepared. The walk into the heart of town was 20 minutes or so, same to the train station. We had one problem wi... Read more

We had 6 nights at the Melia in September which was fine. There are plus and minus points, I can totally see how you could love it, but also how it wouldn't work for others. It was fine for us, but I wouldn't rush back to it. We had a sea view room, and the view to the old town was nice., however it did also overlook the road outside the hotel and whilst not overly busy when it was noisy it was really noisy as the train tracks are about 100yards away and you can hear them every 15mins during th... We stayed here for 6 nights and had a suite (room 340) with 2 balcony in 2 direction. One towards the sea and the other one towards the city, sea and sunset. Beautiful. The standard of the suite was good, Clean good beds and quite. From the hotel there was only 3 minutes to 2 different beaches wich was good. Breakfast has all you need and are fresh. Also the bar had a menue that was OK and good quality. Service was very good. We don't really had any bad experience. A small detail could be tha... Read more
