Pool fine, gardens attractive, especially at the moment with jacaranda trees in flower, all as one would expect of a 4 star hotel BUT aircon in room too cold and room phone wouldn't work to ask them to turn it down in the middle of the night, so check your phone is live! Also it is a bit of a way out of town, 10 euros taxi ride from bus station.

Nice hotel on the outside of Valencia. Easy to reach by bus or taxi. Breakfast is good, apparently there are two sections, one big breakfast room and a smaller one. I stayed in a Club Room and got breakfast in the smaller one. Pool and garden area is big, so it never really gets crowded.

The goods: Spacious rooms. Good, rich and varied breakfast with many options. Good location. Nice balcony (in the "terrace" rooms). Well-looking swimming pool (although not usable in February). The bads: Chaos during check-in, chaos during check-out, total chaos with parking (I had to back-up TWICE from the underground garage because it was supposedly "full" (although was not, after all), chaos in architecture... Overloaded, chaotic (although friendly) staff in the reception. The rooms miss ite... Read more

It looks a bit like an unfinished factory but it's very comfortable, an amazing breakfast, helpful staff, lovely grounds and easy to get into the centre. Different yes, worth staying in definitely being able to get an evening meal would have been helpful but apart from that, a good visit.

Room good, breakfast good. We where in the middle of a corridor and had no wifi connection in the room. Mentioning this at the reception is a useless action. The itil incident management process must have a thorough review. The reception was annoied when I asked for the status of my wifi connection. Result was no wifi for my entire stay.

Picked this hotel for their car parking facilities & their pool. The hotel is modern, clean and well equiped. Lots of areas to sit for a coffee or evening drinks. The pool was wonderful and very welcome as the temperatures went into the 90sF. The hotel was a short bus ride into the city centre. The bus stop is about 75 yards from the hotel and the buses are almost as frequent as London buses. Flat fare - approx £1. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. We stayed three days in Seville and we found this hotel to be very nice, comfortable, clean, spacious, friendly, with nice interior and outdoor pool and gardens, Location is very reasonable as well, some 20 minutes on busses, and about 10 euros for taxi (from the central parts of the city).

Have stayed at this hotel many times and it never dissapoints. Had a junior suite this time which was lovely and spacious. It's a bit far out of the centre which could be an issue for some but there is a regular bus service which is cheap. Some of the public areas are a bit tired but it's a big hotel and personally I think it adds charm. Previously bagging a space at the pool could be tricky but this year there were plenty of beds for a few hours chilling by the really nice pool. Gin prices are ... Read more

Great hotel with excellent facilities close to Sevilla. We were road tripping with a rental car so easy parking was quite important. Most cities in the south of Spain are not car friendly and it's almost impossible to find a parking spot or it's expensive to park outside of the city. This hotel is just a bus ride away from Sevilla so parking your car is for free and quite easy. The Silken hotel deserves the 4 stars! Amazing pool/garden, spacious rooms and friendly staff. We booked a club room with terrace and were given a room overlooking the pool area. As we had booked a club room we had access to the elite lounge were you could get hot drinks, water and pastries. The staff were incredibly helpful and the room spacious and comfortable. As you can park safely in the road there are no parking costs. I would recommend this hotel for a very relaxed break, a leisurely 40 minute walk into the city centre or taxis are around 7 euros

4km from the old city which was a 5 euro fare each way. The room was spacious with Very comfy beds and a lovely pool to relax in. Lots to see in Seville but beware the carriage rides are quite pricey. We found better value carriage rides in other towns. Great taps food to be found in the old town. Myself and my husband spent a great 6 nights at this hotel. Room spacious and clean with a lovely terrace overlooking the pool. Reception always busy but staff friendly and efficient. Several functions on during our stay which left part of the grounds 'off bounds'. Pool area very good and an overall relaxed atmosphere. No need to pay for Carpark as plenty of space on the road. We'd booked a club room with a terrace which is exactly what we got, very nice, spacious with a garden view. Pool is good only some bugs if your sitting far away from the pool. Expensive breakfast so I would advice you to eat in a local café and try out your best spanish! We had our second visit to the Al Andalus Palace last week and once again the experience was excellent. Helpful, happy, professional staff and facilities which you just cannot fault. The beautiful swimming pool is a real asset due to the hot Seville weather. A little away from the city centre, a 5 minute taxi ride is cheap and they wait outside the front door. If you are spending time in the beautiful city of Seville you must stay here.

The hotel has not been painted or fixed since it opened 15 years ago. The windows were dirty, and the curtains seemed unwashed. The front desk staff is unfriendly. Contrary to what is announced, there is no free internet in the rooms, and in the common areas you get 2 hours of free wi-fi but only after you register online and provide all your personal data. The hotel is also away from the center. The only pluses: the price, the swimming pool and the diversity of breakfast offerings.

Upon arrival we were told that our booking had been canceled. Even though we rang the hotel reception and bookings office not two weeks before hand to confirm our booking to ensure we were not left stranded in a foreign city. It turned out the third party we used to book our holiday had cancelled our booking inbetween the time the hotel had confirmed the booking and us arriving at the hotel and neither the Hotel nor the third party website chose to disclose this information to us. Stayed here for 5 nights early September, location superb 6 or 7 euro in a taxi into the centre. We had stayed here 2 years ago and it is about time this hotel had a refurb or at least a manager who cares, torn and broken parasols around the pool, very worn carpets through the corridors on the 4th floor. Completely random 14 second bursts of extremely loud music around the pool that left everyone scratching their heads? (Apart from the 2 lads smoking skunk in the far corner they seemed quite hap... Breakfast was good and food hall staff helpful and friendly Outside pool and garden attractive but the major problem is the rooms need urgent upgrade refurbishment, buses are not far,but hotel not close enough to walk to the centre.it is the rooms' condition that is really disappointing.I hope something could be done soon

Great hotel. Lovely bar that does amazing cocktails. This is our 2nd year in this hotel. Fantastic value for money with some lovely local restaurants within walking distance. Only about 7 euros for a taxi into town. Highly recommend!

Good staf ( verry friendly ) . Breakfast is also verry nice . Big pool with enough sunbeds . Free wifi that works good . Downside , the hotel needs a make over . Seems in a lot of ways outdatet . Also a lot of things are worn out ( carpets , furniture ) . With a small effort this will be a top hotel again !

My wife and I got Married here, it was amazing. The hotel was great value for all of our guests. The breakfast is great and the pool is a must, especially in summer months. It could, however, do with a lick of paint.

Busy but friendly hotel 20 minutes walk out of town but close to the riverside park that takes you to town but without traffic - nice for a morning jog, although I just walked down to see the cruise ships and on to the city centre. The rooms are comfortable and there is a wide buffet breakfast menu. The choice of restaurants and long opening hours means you can get the sort of food you want at the time you want it.

This is a large hotel situated outside Seville but within easy reach of the town via the local buses or a half hour stroll. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and piano bar. Food ok but much better on offer if you venture into Seville.

Excellent hotel, big comfy beds, generous breakfast (fresh orange juice). Park in residential area outside hotel, 5 or 6 euro taxi to centre. Then in the hot weather, after all the sightseeing, there is a fab pool. Always stay here when in Sevilla, don't bother with the twee patio house hotels. This gives you the best of both worlds.

The buffet breakfast is the best thing about this hotel. It is extremely well done and has a ton of choices to fill up even the pickiest of eaters. Unfortunately, the beds are hard as rocks and the carpet is worn, tattered and tired in many places. If you are on a budget or don't want to stay directly in Granada Center, this is a nearby option in a quieter area. However, be prepared to sleep fitfully.

This is a large and well run hotel situated out of the city and with a sort bus ride into town. The scale of the amenities make it suitable for both business and leisure travellers. Generously sized public areas and spacious and comfortable bedrooms, a choice of eating venues and a large pool and patio area made for an enjoyable stay.

This hotel was far from the city center, about 40 minutes walking. But this was our second hotel in Seville since it was closer to the bus station. This is a great choice if you dont mind walking alot or taking taxi back and forth. They have by far best breakfast in all of spain and their buffet dinners were great.

We were very disappointed. Images of this hotel look nice on internet but a real picture was different. Cannot say anything bad about entrance but hallways and rooms are in a really bad shape. Carpet in many areas in hallway is torn and has holes. Our Room and bathroom were dirty, carpet was stained with balls of dust in corners. Hair drier was "100 years" old and did not work properly ( I asked to replace but it was never done). AC is centrally controlled and at night it got so cold that I ha... Read more

Arrived at the Hotel. All of the reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was nice and spacious. Book a superior room if you can. well worth the slight extra cost and gives you access to the VIP room which is nice. Breakfast is very good and all the catering staff were really welcoming and friendly. Can't really think of anything negative to say about this hotel. umber 3 bus is a 2 minute walk and takes you straight into the centre of Seville. If we return we will defini... Read more

Hotel is quit popular among tourists as is always swamped aroynd by buses loads with people. Location is far From downtown. Worst part no tea or coffee maker in room and costs wooping 6 euro per day if u want any and same with iron and iron board. No complimentary water too. Why such basic facilities are not included is beyond my understanding. Swimming pool is good fun. Breakfast is repeat and boring for long stays.

Last year I visited this hotel and was disappointed and gave a very poor review. My complaints were about the cleanliness of the hotel. I just returned and am happy to say my room and those of my friends, were updated, very clean, the beds were super comfortable and the staff was very helpful and polite.

Beautiful Hotel with very comfortable large rooms. We had a room with a terrace with a nice view, it also had a small lounge area which was very comfortable. We were given access to the VIP bar which had tea and coffee and Spanish snacks all day and free newspapers & internet. The reception staff were lovely and we only waited around five minutes to be seen. The food was amazing & we had breakfast on both days with excellent coffee machines and the selection of food was wonderful. We ... Read more

Das Silken Al-Andalus Palace is situated about 15 minutes by bus from the city center of Sevilla. It is a large hotel with comfortable bedrooms that should be renovated soon as especially the carpets in the corridors are worn and the walls need fresh painting. The swimming pool is a nice place to rest after visiting the city and one can have a drink in the garden in the evening. Breakfast was very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable, excellent air conditioning, large comfortable bed and very, very quiet for a city hotel - best night's sleep in a hotel ever. Downside is the add-ons. Everything extra costs money - parking, safe, iron (!). Rarely, if ever, charged for any of these in other hotels. There is an all-you-can-eat buffet which is really good value at ‚?¨19.99 each, but everything else made the stay more expensive than planned. This hotel has all the things you require, and a bus stop to the city centre really is around the corner (albeit a long corner!) The buffet breakfast really is worth it with something for meat lovers and vegetarians alike! The best thing about the hotel is a member of staff - Sylvia. She is absolutely amazing!!! We cannot give her enough praise. She is beyond helpful and goes out of her way to help in any way she can. Sylvia has been particularly helpful in helping plan journeys and locate v... Read more

We spend a week in this hotel and it was perfect for our stay. The breakfast is great with very much choice. Personal behind the desk is young and not very experienced but they did their job OK. A course of English for them won't be wasted money... Don't expect creative or excellent service. They have bicycles for rent which were the perfect way to discover the city. My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and it was nothing special. About the Hotel. We stayed in the comfort room with a view. For the price we paid, we weren't expecting a 4 star quality room to begin with but I was expecting 4 star quality service and food for sure. Altogether it is a strictly average hotel and not 4 star quality at all! We chose this hotel because of it's out of town location as we were driving from Malaga and did not want to get involved in Seville city traffic. This worked well and we used the nearby bus and taxi, both very cheap, to get into the centre. Having read some of the negative reviews we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. If I have one criticism it would be that the food and plates in the restaurants should be hotter. We had the evening buffet in the restaurant but I think the bar/bistr... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is quite big and a bit outside the city which is not a bad thing, the city is easily accessible. the room was good and comfy. The only thing I didn't really like was the 14 euro a night parking charge, I just decided to park the car outside on the street which is pretty safe and free. The wifi was way below average speed.

I chose this hotel having got lost driving into Seville city centre on a previous visit. It does what it says on the tin, offers modern basic comfortable rooms at great value in an easy to find location. It's clean and efficient and the breakfast is good but it lacks any character. Just be aware that it's a 45 minute walk to the Cathedral area. We walked in once then took taxis so spent ‚?¨24 per day in taxis with 2 daily return journeys, morning and evening.
