Lovely hotel with old style rooms.. the hotel bought little houses nearby so each extension has its own character! Located right in the centre of seville, close to the historic monuments and the night life.

Just leaving this hotel on VBT itinerary. Very comfortable, unique rooms in multiple but attached buildings. Service efficient, breakfast offering is excellent and food quality very nice. Many options to wat, drink. Less than 10 nine walk to Cathedral and Alcazar Gardens and "castle"... You should enjoy this hotel. Very nice and team is very friendly.

Friendly service, good room, exceptional public areas for sitting whether in one of the many courtyards or the main lounge and an excellent location, Breakfast was fine but served in a basement room. We had a room about half way down the site. We had no problem finding it again but you do have to do a bit of memory work to negotiate all the courtyards. Some more signage to receiption and the different houses would definitely be helpful.

This hotel is within walking distance of all the sights. There are endless tapas restaurants right out the door. We didn't use a cab at all during our 3 nights here. The hotel itself is very charming. Our room was clean and extremely spacious. The biggest downside was that the bed creaked with every movement and the plumbing from above our room was a little loud. The rest makes up for it though. I would choose this hotel again if we were ever to return to Seville. The overall atmosphere and loca... Read more

I liked many aspects of this hotel. The maze of old lanes and streets are private to the hotel and make it unique. Little fountains and lots of plants add to the tranquility. You would never know it had over 100 rooms. Our room was dark with a small window onto an alley but it was very clean and welcoming. Bear in mind these are old buildings and while the adaptations are sympathetic it can mean that some facilties have to be shoe-horned in. Our WC was squeezed in a very tight space indeed. The... The hotel is made up a collection of some 20+ houses that stretch back from the entrance. As a result no two rooms are the same, ours was spacious, clean and very comfortable but that did not appear to be the case for all rooms. If you want carpet lined hallways and lifts to you room then this is not a place for you. Instead it has beautiful cobbled open air "laneways" which meander through the property to the rooms. There is also an underground passageway which runs almost the length of the p... Read more

Ok, so I accept the historical significance of this hotel. 13 century buildings from the old Jewish quarter cobbled together to for a hotel. Lots of passages, antiques, little nooks and crannies, but well the rooms are not well kept. There is old and their is maintenance. Our room (2) was just off a main thoroughfare which was good because we didn't manage to get lost. The room was uninspiring with a very strong damp smell. I could not use my bedside table as everything just slide right off. Fi... Read more

We stayed here for 6 nights. We were put into a room where there was barely enough room to walk. Since we were here for a six night stay We asked to switch and were moved into a larger room. The neighborhood is ideal for exploring, eating and shopping. It was also quite central to major attractions as well as day trip pickups! We loved the Antique and old style atmosphere. The room was large with wooden beams, three windows, a safe, fridge and very comfortable beds. We had a shower and a bath. Perfecto! My partner booked here at the start of our holiday, we spent 3 nights. The hotel is on several levels with numerous small courtyards and lots of plants. The staff were excellent and attentive, they were able to offer advice and tips, when sightseeing. The hotel has a rooftop swimming pool, it is small and gets crowded at the end of the day to cool off. There was always a seat available, but sun loungers we're usually occupied. We wanted to experience the stay at the old Jewish quarters. The underground tunnels to get to your room was amazing and many artifacts throughout the complex was unique. The patios and potted planters was lovely. The room was well appointed with a huge bathroom. Breakfast provided so many choices, from salmon, eggs, fresh fruits, breads, pastries and more. What an extraordinary place. You'd not want to explain it until navigating the slow reception to the depths beyond that reveal secret terraces through cobbled walkways, surprise rooms, cranky stairs, a pool on a roof, the adjacent church. Quite a hideaway in the prettiest, historic centre, beyond the urban noise and sad skyrise blocks from the motorway and airport. Once into Santa Cruz, you wriggle and find car parking. Apart from it being so unique and interesting, the rooms are just fabulous, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, really well designed and furnished. The bathroom was superb. What a fantastic hotel - it's a four star hotel but it definitely deserves five. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The hotel has beautiful courtyards, fountains and reception areas that add a wow factor. A swim in the rooftop pool was the perfect way to round off a day of sightseeing. Hotel seems to have had a refurb. with all areas looking smart and tidy. Fantastic location to take in all the sights of Sevilla. Quirky, fascinating, love the pool experience at the end of a hot day. May take breakfast out on next visit as it broadens the experience.

The original old houses are wonderful, as the patios that connect them. However, there is a long grotto-like tunnel with "pompeian" frescoes that they could have spared us. Las casas is exactly that - a small neighbourhood of houses from the Jewish quarter of Seville dating back to the 1300s joined together by public spaces (some with fountains, small tables and chairs and sun screens overhead) and short tunnels (under a couple of narrow streets). Furnished with antiques (furniture, prints, objects) and in a great location for sightseeing and eating/drinking. A pool on the roof and the most comfortable bed so far (in 6 weeks of travelling).
