This hotel offers you the sensation of being in the heart of it all. Apart from the central location, the building itself oozes history and adds to the mood of the moment. The rooms are comfortable, with a classy original design. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a Caribbean style roof terrace with bar and pool area that allows for a spectacular view of the Giralda (even better when illuminated at night) and the beautiful rooftops of the city. Buffet breakfast was good quality. G... Read more

Stayed with my wife during March. It was our 1st time in Seville and with help of the GPS, we managed to find to hotel around narrow streets. There was a small parking / stopping lot in front of the hotel, so that if you are arriving by car; you can drop off & then park your car nearby car parks. Check-in was fast and our room was very nice, with a terrace / balcony, nice big bathroom with amenities. Location was perfect, just a few steps from Catedral. We also walked to everywhere in old town, ... Read more

This is a lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable hotel, ideally located for visiting the old city. We loved our room, but unfortunately it was located directly beneath the pool terrace, where on two consecutive evenings there were social gatherings that went on late into the night. So do try and make sure that your room is further away than ours was. Breakfast could have been better, and all in all I would advise going out. The waiter was more interested in showing off his English than in... Read more

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to all the sites. Our room was large and roomy, with both a sleeping and a sitting area. Breakfast had a good selection including fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, etc. Previous reviews mention the lovely terace bar. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have soundproofed windows or if they do they are totally inadequate. This bar creates a great deal of noise. On Thursday night we could hear them putting glassware away at midnight. On Friday ... Read more

That is going to be a long story. The hotel was an old Palacio connected to the Palace of the Archbishop. It is superbly renovated. Many old style elements are incorporated in the reconstructed hotel. Medieval elements dating back to the 15th and 16th century are integrated in the revamped architecture. Even elements from the Roman Empire 2nd century BC(Before Christ) are integrated in the modernized dining room. The breakfast room with its 4 - 5 meters high ceiling and its Windows as high as... Excellent hotel right in the middle of the jewish quarter, with an excellent view of the cathedral. The rooms are of a good standard, the bar terrace is fab! The staff very helpful. The cathedral and Alcazar are a maximum of 2 minute walk away.

We thought we had booked the old Fontecruz, that has now changed it's name. But this is much better. We were a small group of friends visiting Seville for a few days. The rooms are a good size and very pleasant. There is not much of a view from the window, but it is in the middle of the city in the old quarter where great views are not easily had. The beds are big and comfortable, the bathroom is big. There is plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. Wifi is free (although you struggle to get it ... Read more

Perfect central location very close to cathedral/restaurants/bars. Lovely hotel grounds with a very nice roof top pool/bar area. Very friendly & helpful staff! Only complaint is that the walls are thin so quite noisy as we can hear slamming of doors/cupboards, moving of furniture, hoover etc especially when still in bed. But we had an amazing time & would certainly recommend!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights last week. The location is fantastic - quiet back street just a few minutes from main attractions and restaurants. Hotel itself is a historic - ish property. Great aspects of that - unique, remnants of ancient Roman baths on property. Not so great aspects - cavernous, dark rooms (the few we saw / experienced). We spent 2 nights in 2 different deluxe rooms (highest standard available, I think) - first was VERY spacious but also very dark and strangely fur... Read more

Polite staff receives you with discrete charm. The rooms are nice and tasteful, the breakfast is full of selected delicacies. The whole place full of flair. The roof top just opposite the cathedral is charming and colorful. I enjoyed every single moment.

My husband and I have just returned home from celebrating our wedding anniversary. This hotel was perfect, we were upgraded from Deluxe to Junior Suite which was lovely. It is extremely hot in Seville so air conditioning was great in the room. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and you could also have hot food specially cooked by the chef ie omelette . The rooftop bar had great views and we enjoyed sitting there in the evening after our evening meal out. It was very hot up there during the day... Read more

Lovely hotel, amazing rooftop. Swimming whilst looking at a world heritage site is very special. Seville is such a lovely place even in 40 degree heat. We didn't get to eat in the hotel as we had other plans but we will next time we stay.

This hotel is in a great location and despite some of the comments to the contrary on tripadvisor we found the staff very helpful and pleasant at all times. However - the vented air conditioning system is not either cold or powerful enough to cool the large bedrooms during the heat of a Seville summer. The staff did their best by moving us on the first evening but sadly this room was also very hot. They did not have any portable fans which may have helped a little. The roof top bar has lovely v... This is a beautifully quirky little hotel, tucked away in a brilliant location right in the centre of Seville. The rooftop swimming pool and bar has a great view of the cathedral and is a great place to relax with a cocktail or sangria, night or day. The staff are friendly and a two-hour walking tour of the city is available free of charge to hotel guests, which is a nice little touch. Our room was spacious, and was a nice mix of modern and old.

The hotel is situated near the cathedral, it has, therefore, an excellent location. The staff was really nice and helpful. The lifts were being renovated so there was kind of a big mess around those areas, but they offered us a drink for the trouble at the bar, on top of the hotel. Also on the top there's the pool: wonderfully empty in the morning, horribly packed in the afternoon, but awesome, nonetheless. It's fantastic to enjoy a nice pool while viewing the cathedral. The terrace was also ver... Read more

We're half way through a weeks holiday at this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who's thinking of visiting Seville. The location is fantastic, the accommodation is great and there are loads of great attractions and restaurants really close by. Perfect for us. Would have been a five star rating but for a couple of minor things, breakfast seems unusually pricey, it may be great but we haven't tried it. There's also more than a hint of "80s Germans at the Costa del Sol" aroun... Read more

Nice size room with outside area. Dated bathroom which requires work. Breakfast the only meal served. No lunch or evening food available. Pool side bar only open from 3.30 in the afternoon during weekdays. Pool decking area and ladies toilet on roof requires work. All in all the only good thing is the location for the sights and the pool.. Sorry, I have never had to write such a poor review but this hotel needs to sort itself out..

Located close to the Cathedral, was a great location to get to major sights and lots of things to do right around the corner. Lots of restaurants and bars right around the hotel which is nice (especially when we didn‚??t feel like going far for a meal). Definitely a good tourist location for the first time in Seville. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning, one of the best hotel breakfasts we‚??ve seen! There was fruit, veggies, meats, cheeses, breads, yogurt, eggs...everything seemed fresh... Read more

A much larger hotel than you'd imagine with enormous charm and quirkiness in its design. Sweets and water at reception; interesting decor and in a perfectly location for sightseeing and restaurants and bars. Service was mixed but fine. The staff could have been more helpful generally but no main problems. The swimming pool was a disappointment though. The view is excellent but it's all rather tired and a bit grubby. It could do with a refresh but could for an evening drink overlooking the cathe... Read more

Tucked at the end of a tiny alley this hotel is an absolute gem. We'll appointed, charming, stylish, friendly and close to attractions. Great rooms and the rooftop patio is amazing with full service bar, a refreshing, albeit small pool, and a stunning view of the cathedral. Can't wait to go back. Access with a car can be intimidating and parking is off site and payable daily but a small price to pay for the advantages of location. Highly recommend.

We were a group of twelve friends in Seville for five days to celebrate a 60th birthday. This is a great little hotel right in the middle of the historic old city. My wife and I initially had a room beneath the main a/c units which was very noisy but we requested another room and were moved to a bigger, upgraded room without any fuss. We used the rooftop pool and bar a fair bit and it is delightful. The hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring old Seville on foot and there are many excellent ... Read more

Excellent location in the centre of the historic old town. Friendly staff. Quality and quirky, will appeal especially to hipsters. Spacious rooftop bar and pool looking directly onto the cathedral gives fabulous backdrop for photos. Top tip, best go on foot or by taxi as the streets are labyrinthine and no on-site parking . Highly recommended , we will be back.

Amazing 4 days spent at this hotel. The location could not be any better. Situated right in the city centre, and opposite the cathedral, the views are beautiful. The hotel offers fridges on each floor, which are filled with water for guests. This is a brilliant idea. This hotel is a real surprise. You find a different part of it every day! We stay here one night in September. Location: about 200 metres from the cathedral this hotel is mostly about the location. Tucked away in the small back streets of Seville. Spent three nights here over summer, had a great stay. Very comfortable place to be. Pool and roof area was great, plenty of space, slightly shabby but the vibe was great. Good music playing. Room was really large, and water complimentary in fridges in the hallways. The lift was awful. Would definately recommend for a trip to Seville.

We really enjoyed our three day stay in Seville. The hotel couldn't be in a better location and the rooftop bar was a real highlight - that is when it's open! We were disappointed that it closed early so we couldn't get a drink after we came back from dinner. The building is stunning and nicely decorated, although it could do with a bit of TLC in some of the bar and restaurant areas, it's a great place to hang out. Our room was spacious and comfortable. All in all we really enjoyed this hotel.
