The hotel was great and very much money valued. it is a couple of minutes walk from the historic city. The staff was very helpful and their English was good - it was easy to communicate with them. The room was big enough with 2 closed balconies to the street, but not noisy. The only thing was that the wifi signal was a bit weak.

Due to an internet mistake our originally reserved hotel was full the day of our arrival to Spain. They upgraded us to the Hotel Herradura. We stayed in a family room. The beds were very confortable, the room spacious and clean and breakfast was delicious. Staff are extremely polite and kind.

The Herradura is a lovely, quiet hotel with excellent service, just a short walk from the Santiago's old city. The rooms are well-equipped and comfy. The hotel serves a very nice breakfast with a good variety of choices. I would stay here again if I return to Santiago.

Room is ok but not too big. No free breakfast and only 1 or 2 staff can speak English well...wifi is good and near the University of Santiago de Compostela. Walking distance to the park, church, restaurants and souvenir shops.

Staggered past this hotel on the last leg of my camino arrival in Santiago. Popped in to ask the way to the Cathederal and the receptionist was so helpful and gave me a map that I remembered her and the hotel when I was looking for someone to stay in Santiago. Came back for a night and ended up staying for three as it is so comfortable there and quiet. It is well situated just down the road from the old town etc and if you cross the main road in front there is a 'residential' shopping area with ... Read more

Great little hotel just a few blocks from old town, bordering the park. Breakfast includes croissant, OJ, coffee, toast, cheese, ham & almond cake. Clean and well-kept but not sterile. Turn-down service. Service with a smile. I got a great deal on a compact room - which still came with a small desk.

From the minute you step over the threshold every person working in the hotel gives brilliant customer service with a genuine smile, taking an obvious pleasure in their work. The rooms are comfortable and warm. The hotel is centrally located and was the perfect place to stay after a rainy and misty end to our Camino. The breakfast was lovely. The bar and cafeteria were open twenty-four hours including room service. This hotel should teach lessons on excellent customer service and a genuine welco... Read more
