We stayed for a week at this hotel in May 2016, In our opinion this is a lovely hotel, the staff were very polite and helpful, we did have an issue with our room but this was sorted very efficiently by the reception staff. Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was lovely, although pool was cold, but to be honest I thought this was all hotels abroad. Ample sun beds which very few people saved so there was always some around. We found the hotel a nice walk fro... Read more

Stayed here last week and had a fantastic time, the minute you walk in the reception the cleanliness hits you, smells gorgeous. The receptionists who greeted us were very welcoming, straight to a lovely buffet lunch, which was the start of many great meals, if you're looking for the full works for breakfast every day, this is the hotel for you. Thoroughly enjoyed every meal. We had a Preferential Suite, if available would definitely recommend, sunbeds and jacuzzi on the balcony, great idea! The ... Read more

Just spent a week at this hotel, travelling with Thomson. There were six in our party and we all rated it first class. It's a bit of a walk from the resort centre but worth it. The hotel staff were efficient, helpful and friendly , nothing was too much trouble. They provided, pool towels, fridge, safe, water, tea and coffee in the room and wonderful food. The restaurant was a credit to them, lovely and clean and the food presentation was superb. We travel a lot and rarely visit the same p... Read more

The location is lovely with Santa Eulalia town a ten minute walk away. This is an adult only hotel which is very modern, clean and fresh. I agree with another reviewer that the beds were very hard though, two singles zipped up to make a double, and although we were promised a seaview it was a side room. The website stated that all rooms had a hydra-massage bathtubs but we only had a walk in shower with water than could jet out everywhere which was pretty impractical. It was very cold in the ev... Second visit to the Don Carlos and the hotel and staff are still superb. The food is of a high standard still, though no fresh pasta meals cooked to order on offer-could just have been the timing of our visit. It has changed in the variety on offer at meal time - 3 types of pork at lunch and evening meal??? This could be down to the large number of visitors from Germany and Europe..I have no issue with this but lets not have 3 types of pork at every meal. We had a suite this time- superb room. ... We stayed for two weeks in May 2016, and booked through Jet2Holidays as a package. Once we arrived at the hotel we requested to upgrade from a standard sea view room (which was nice, great views, but felt a little small for us, for a two week stay) to a Presidential Suite (a much larger room, bath in the centre, and a jacuzzi on the balcony). Silvia managed our upgrade very well, managing the move of luggage and remembering our requests and also our anniversary date during our stay - which was... Read more

This was our second visit to this wonderful hotel. First impressions count for a lot and here you receive a great welcome from Sylvia and Dennis at the Reception Desk. Check in is swift and you are given a cool towel and a glass of cava whilst you take in the information. Your luggage is taken to your room by the efficient porter Jose and he explains how the safe works etc.. Unless you choose one of the suites the rooms are fairly basic but quite adequate. You are provided with soap and sham... Read more

seems strange that the review only has 4 stars but the hotel is truly in a great location and the staff could not be any more helpful the drinks are all branded and plentiful, there are also plenty of sunbeams for all even with the 7am bed grabbing squad n action. the only 2 gripes i do have were 1 double doesn't meant 2 single beds side by side I'm afraid, seems petty but asked for double paid for a double get a twin.... 2 the food, again plentiful is same for me was not great for my vegeta... Good hotel with great staff. Never very busy so no long queues in bar or restaurant. Food quality and variety very good. Premium drinks in all inclusive package. Close to town and beach. Entertainment very good every night that stops at midnight so you can have a quiet night in bed for a decent sleep. (Except for the mattress cover!)

We went to the Don Carlos in August as a couple and had a fantastic time, as soon as we walked into the air conditioned lobby (smells amazing too) we felt a good vibe. The hotel and rooms are very clean, we had a standard room which we thought had plenty of room for our stay, there's a safe in the room with instructions on how to use it, balcony and quite large bathroom with a walk in shower and complimentary toiletries . When we were there we had no trouble getting a sunbed any time of the ... Read more

Just got back from a 2 week family holiday, first of all the lows. We were allocated rooms 413, 414 as we had paid extra for sea views. These rooms are directly underneath the roof top hotel air conditioning units and so we could here a constant loud droaning and rumbling noise. All 4 of us in both rooms didn't have a wink of sleep, so in the morning we were promptly down to reception asking to be moved. They moved us to 401 and 408. 401 was perfectly quiet so my wife and i took that, however 40... Read more

Where do I start? Room was small but everything that you need. I did pay for a sea view but the1st room I was given ET would have struggled with this! (Massive but beautiful palm tree in the way and on the side of the hotel) the second room I was given had the must perfect view over Santa eulalia and the bins! With the large air-con pipes above my balcony and the constant smell of food coming from the restaurant below. BUT!! Other than that it was the most perfect hotel I have ever stayed in. I ... Wonderful hotel and best of all Adult only, we had a suite room that was very spacious , clean and modern with a jacuzzi and walkin shower, the restaurant offered a wide variety of food. There were plenty of sun beds round the pool area but you still found people getting up at dawn to put their towels out when there really was no need to. The hotel has lots of entertainment if you want to join in, staff are not pushy. There is night entertainment so an all round package, if you want a walk o... Read more

The hotel ,staff and food are wonderful, the rooms are cleaned every day and the pool area is very relaxing.I have just returned after spending 7nights. I was so excited to go to this hotel, but sadly I have to say as a sole female traveller my room (201) was at the end of a long corridor tucked away in the corner it was dark as there was no natural light outside my room.I booked a standard double room which was very nice but the downside was when you went on to the balcony I looked on to the side... From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome by the very courteous reception staff, they are so friendly and efficient. The rooms and the whole of the hotel are kept spotlessly clean all the time. I am staggered at the effort these wonderful people put in, every single day all through the season. The same goes for the kitchen, restaurant and bar staff. The food choices and quality were superb at all meal times. Don Carlos you gave us another wonderful holiday, thank you so much f... Read more

Just arrived back home 2 days ago after a fantastic week at the Palladium Don Carlos. Our trip to the hotel had been somewhat fraught after a delayed flight and our hire car company unable to locate our car however when we arrived at 3am we were greeted with fresh juice and some light food. A nice touch. The hotel is fairly sizable, very clean and well presented - extremely looked after by all the staff. The food - breakfast, lunch and dinner is plentiful and there is a great choice. We loved this hotel we have stayed here many time it's been one of our favourites and would recommend this to all our friends. However this year we were very disappointed. They have changed the name I'm not sure why. Some of the old staff were still there it was great to see them. The pool area was always my favourite, but now it is crammed with so may sunbeds you can't move, also they have games around the pool that was loud and annoying. The room was OK we paid for upgrade for sea view ... Read more

This hotel is positioned close to the sea and just a very short distance away from the main resort of Santa Eulalia. There is an easy, short walk into the main town and promenade. The hotel is smart looking throughout and has a spacious, comfortable ground floor with access to the restaurant, bar and pool area. The service, from the late check-in, service in the restaurant and bar was excellent and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Food was of a very good s... Read more

Stayed here 7th - 21st September meeting friends for 70th birthday celebration . We found all the staff from reception to cleaning etc very helpful and cheery . Only issue was room not ready on arrival ,we were directed to the bar and dining room ,but unfortunately the room was still not ready when we returned. We were offered a different room 305 which we took and had the nicest chamber maid we have ever had, so helpful and cheerful and who worked very hard. The food was fine no problems there ...
