The staffs are very helpful, friendly too. I traveled alone to Salou for a week holiday, I asked the receptionists about what I could do and see, they helped me in many ways. this hotel is not far from beaches, restaurants and shops are near by.

Marinada was as expected and good value for the money. The rooms were bit "weary" for e.g. bathroom mirror, bathroon faucets, beds, but I cananot compare them with the other hotels in the area. Pillows were extremely bad. Otherwise the room was OK and everythign was clean and cleaned daily. Also we had problem with the balcony door, but it was fixed fast. General areas of the hotel were fine and not weary looking at all. We had full board and it was good value for the money. In principle the fo... Read more

This hotel was wonderful value for money. The room was spotless clean and the bed was very comfortable. The full board buffet menu have an excellent menu, with much to choose from. The pool is large, there's also a lot to keep children enterained in the hotel.

Enjoyed our stay, no complaints about location, facilities, cleanliness, reception etc. We stayed on a half board basis, breakfast was good, fair selection of items, just needs to be hotter! Evening food selection was limited and again needs to be hotter!

Arrived at the hotel in the early hours, met by 24 hour reception who booked us all in promptly and were helpful and polite. Stayed on a half board basis, brekkie is good and the best meal of the day in our opinion, Dinner was ok, your not going to starve as there was plenty of choice but it was very bland and repetitive. Located in a good place, just off the main strip, good break, just remember your booking a 3 star hotel, do not expect too much especially with the rooms (2 double beds, TV and... Read more

Young couple in mid 20s just back from a 9 night stay. We stayed in the apartments which were actually just across from the hotel (we weren't aware until our arrival). They have their own (very small) pool and bar, but we used the facilities of the main hotel. Location: was perfect!! Just a short walk to bars, restaurants and the beach. Bus stop is also a 2 minute walk. Cleanliness: could not fault!! Our room was spotless and everyday we were brought fresh towels. The pool area and the pool it... Read more

Booked this hotel via one of hotel comparison websites. The price was really good so decided to try it out. went there in June 2016 together with another family. Hotel is very clean, staff is pleasant, good choice of TV channels. kids loved the lift which is attached to the building facade. pool area was clean, enough activities like golf, table tennis , pool table, giant chess. prices at the bar were very reasonable and we loved the happy hour 16:30-17:30 when whatever drink you buy you get a s... Flew home today after a week staying in this hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but that was all we needed - we stayed as bed and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was delicious, kids tried stuff they never would have tried before and I loved the selection, my partner had a full fried breakfast every morning! The food isn't very warm but it is cooked so I didn't mind, to be honest I was too warm to eat much. Good selection of drinks too, f... Read more

My friend and I recently visited here in July this year. We stopped for four nights. Our room was on the 6th floor over looking the pool. I asked for a sunny pool view balcony that was quite on a night and we got just that!! The entertainment on a night was basic but to be expected. You are literally a two minute walk away from the town centre with all the shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is about a 20 minute walk away. Fantastic location, pool was great, the food was lovely. The staff wh... Read more

Good hotel on the more traditional model. Very clean, needs some updating but all in all a good place to stay in Salou. Please, someone tell the aparthotel across the road to stop blaring out music on to the very nice street, nobody is there to hear it except us in the Marinada and we dont want to. Need better pillows. Very close to great beaches and main Salou streets. Great bar and dining staff. Will be back. Also Salou for some reason stinks in a lot of places, they should clean the pavements... Read more

There was 18 of us that went on this holiday 9 older adults and 9 younger adults and it is not for large groups! Hotel staff were moaning because there was too much noise..well there is 18 of us! We really were not loud at all! No fun was allowed in pool such as balls, lilos etc. Great location though. Food was ok. Rooms were very clean

After a long drive to Dublin airport and flight to Salou, then taxi journey to Marinada hotel. We tried to check in. Spoke to a Spanish receptionist who informed me we had double booked I showed her my email which told her I had just changed part of my booking and the hotel Marinada had been informed of this. She was having none of this and insisted I phoned my booking agent to confirm this change in my booking had happened. We finally got are booking agent on the phone to confirm this and also ... Just got back from a 4 nights stay in the marinada hotel and i felt i had to write a review as we have had the worst holiday ever!!! Me, my twin sister and my 1 year old daughter arrived at the hotel on Monday afternoon, we went to the lady on the reception desk to check in, handed over our reservation details and we were left waiting at the reception desk for half an hour wondering what was going on as the receptionist was calling other receptionists into an office behind the desk. We have just got back from a 4 night stay (myself, my sister and her 1 year old). After reading the reviews we were very excited to come here, however we have been extremely disappointed with how we have been treated and it has really spoilt our holiday. When we arrived at our hotel we were 'greeted' by one of the most rude receptionists I have ever come across. There had been a mix up with who we booked with and our hotel room was cancelled, which we knew nothing about, and all they did to '... Read more

(1) We were on the pool side and the entertainment stops at midnight and very noisy. But its all part of being in a Spanish resort (2) The staff are very helpful and friendly and seem happy. They are very particular about cleanliness which is great to see (3) The food is very good for a 3 star and the buffet and has something for everyone and varied. (4) There are acts on every night on the stage at the poolside or just inside. The kids entertainment is very good. I would thoroughly recommend th... Read more

We stayed at this hotel as part of a road trip . Unfortunately we had booked through low cost holidays . Concerned about this I rang the hotel and was told we were booked in but when we arrived there was told the booking has been cancelled the day before . It took 1.5 hours to then manage book and pay for another room - longest check in we have ever had . The apartment rooms were basic and need an upgrade . I wouldn't come back here if I was paid to stay for free. The receptionist called Angela was very rude asking me what I wanted her to do when I lost my WiFi log in details. We went full board but there were no drinks included with lunch and dinner. You have to pay ?2.40 for a bottle of water. No fridge in the hotel and we had to keep buying ice. No iron in the rooms either. The food wasn't the best but sufficient to fill your stomach. The hotel in general is very clean but the entertainment ... Read more

We arrived at the Hotel Marinada hotel with a sense of relief that we weren't staying at the Marinada appartments directly opposite, which had loud disco music pumping out to an empty area. As we approached reception first impressions of the hotel were positive, a feeling that continued until we reached room 724 our home for the next week. The room was very small, a basic no frills experience fitted with pre MFI furnishings. Thank goodness it was warm enough to dry without the use of a towel as ... Read more

On the same road there is the Hotel Marinada and Marinada Apartments. There is a big difference between these two. Don't be fooled! Go with the Hotel. The receptionists are the rudest I've ever come across in any hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything you ask from them is met with an eye roll and is far too much hassle for them. Even a simple request for the luggage room key was met with an audible sigh. Shame. The rooms are very very very basic. No luxuries whatsoever. I'm a clean freak, the bat... Read more

we stayed here recently, just a few points that i hope you find helpful. Reception staff not the friendliest, rooms basic -- no frills - quite small but cleaned daily and you don't spend much time there so not a big deal, towels can have holes in them and also don't rely on shampoo body wash etc as it was scarce (i had my own so this was fine for me!) . Pool supervised at all times which gave me a little piece of mind, rooms start on 2nd floor so no ground floor rooms - this wasn't pointed out ... Read more

Hotel had mainly Spanish guests during our 7 day visit who were polite, quiet and well mannered whatever age. Highlight of this hotel is the resturaunt which is staffed by excellent friendly people who show you to a table from the entrance.Food exceeds 3 star rating easily ,especially if you like seafood as the Spanish eat it. Most foods are local in style but there are full UK breakfasts, burgers, chips etc there if you want them.Book fullboard rather than halfboard it is great value.Bottle of hou... Read more

I used this hotel while attending a music event in the town and so didn't spend much time there. When I booked (through a 3rd party) i got the impression that the Standard Room included 2 double beds but this was not the case if you booked as a single traveler booking a single room - obvious you might think but it did not state that the room with the 2 double beds was a Double Standard room.
