We stayed 5 days in this hotel and honestly, compared to the price, I have to say this is an excellent solution if you want to stay in Puerto de la Cruz! It's located in the old town, it's not easly accessible by car (even the free parking is very close). The hotel staff was very kind and always ready to help giving proper information. Rooms are not perfectly soundproofed and if I can give my suggestion to the staff.. take in consideration the opportunity to pay some more attention to the dust :... Read more

I first visited this hotel on my own for 4 nights in November and was so pleased with it I am back with my wife now! Once again both of us are delighted with the location and comfort of the hotel but most of all of the staff are excellent. Yesterday I was careless enough to leave my wallet unattended on a table on the sun roof when I retuned to our room 301. Fortunately a very trustworthy lady who I believe is called Loli one of the cleaning team found it and informed the receptionist Tanya who ... Read more

The staff and location are great ... the hotel its self needs an up grade. The cleaning ladies are very nice but the hotel could do with a thorough clean you can write your name in the dust under the bed and on the back of the bathroom door , also patio that is very small had not been swept for weeks. this hotel is running on a budget and don't have many staff. no restaurant is not a problem there are nice cafe's within a minutes walk. We had one day without electricity and one without water. ... Read more

Nice simply hotel in the best location of the town! Many nice restaurants close to it. You can park your cars 5 min walk away. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but you can have breakfast for 5? in another hotel in the center.

It's not the Hilton. But delightful it is. This is right in the centre of the old town. Wishing very easy walking to some of the towns top restaurants we could see the tops of them from our balcony. There is an excellent supermarket at the bottom of the street. We had studio on the 4th (top)floor. Overlooking the town, with a view on one side of the balcony of the ocean, and at the back was Mount Tierde. The studio had everything we needed. But what makes this small, hotel special are the staff.... Read more

First of all liked the location (the hotel is situated not far from the bus station. Jardin beach, cafes and shops are within walking distance). We had a studio with quite a nice view. The room was equipped with some crockeries (plates, glasses, tea-kettle, pan, forks, knives), fridge and electric stove in the room. We also had a toaster, but it didn't work, that's a pity! There were also a dishwashing liquid and sponge.Towels were present. But chopping board would be suitable. There is a room ... Read more

Still here in Hotel Sun Holidays. Great hotel for couples. Walking distance to everything. No pool but has a roof top sun terrace. Rooms are great. Plenty space with a small little balcony. Lovely to sit out in evening. It's not a 5 star hotel and not trying to be one. If you want value for money and prefer to have extras for all that holiday fun then this is the place for you. Staff lovely and friendly. Towels changed every day. No bar or restaurant but lovely little cafe almost outside door an... Read more

A lovely, welcoming hotel on a quiet street. We spent here 7 nights with my boyfriend and paid totally 166 euros. We booked room only (but they have apartments too), we had got one with plenty of space and storage, big bathroom, big terrace, outdoor furniture, drying rack, small fridge, hair dryer, lots of soap, shower gel, etc. Wifi is free everywhere and really good, also you can watch TV free of charge. On top floor there is a sunbath terrace with furniture. Staff is friendly and helpful, an... Read more

I sit writing this aghast at the previous reviews in that, this hotel is quiet. As I write there are tables full of rowdy men drinking and bellowing at each other, along with children running around screaming at each other. This is all, apparently, in the name of some christian festival, and has been going on for three hours (so far). The poor receptionist can do absolutely nothing about it as she has no immediate point of contact or support from any line of management, as they are all locate... Read more

This is a simple hotel (think non-corporate Travelodge) and has few facilities other than the room. Which means they can't charge high prices. Which may make it Puerto's best value. The rooms are clean and fresh, beds comfortable and balconies pleasant. You wouldn't want a pool, with the amazing Lago Martianez complex a few minutes walk. There's free wifi. But most importantly it's one of the very few in town without traffic or bar noise outside the window.
