Having just returned from this hotel we are very glad we decided to book this hotel, We caught the number 21 bus from the airport as it stops right outside the hotel for 3 Euros. Check in was very easy having asked for an early check in, we were in our room at 10am, breakfast is a buffet style with a fantastic choice of food and even free champagne. The staff are very good and nothing was to much trouble. We asked for a room with a nice view and we got what we wanted. We were on the 8th floor l... Read more

This was a 3 day break, arrived 10.30am booked straight into room with sea view, very pleasant reception staff. Everything, everywhere absolutely sparking clean. Breakfast buffet was the best we've had in any hotel, some hot dishes cooked fresh in front of you and I had to compliment the scrambled egg, cooked to perfection, not the over dried pale rubber stuff normally served in hotels. We never eat dinner in the hotels we stay in as we prefer to visit good quality local restaurants, however, o... Read more

Had a very good week at this hotel in April this year. Booked this hotel following a previous holiday at a sister hotel BG Tonga Towers. Really like this chain. BG Java was a great hotel only a stone`s throw from the beach. Very clean with very friendly, helpful staff everywhere. The rooms are quite small but functional and modern. One gripe we had with both the hotels(although very minor) is there is only one drawer in the room. The meals were very good and varied throughout our weeks stay and n... Read more

the hotel itself was very good for cleanliness, and is 1 street away from the beach and promenade, however the hotel, mainly has german guest, although we didnt have any hassle with it,everyone was pleasant, the exterior of the hotel and surroundings are not very pleasant to look at,but when inside it is pleasant and welcoming.we had no trouble on check in and also checked in at 11am as we had a early flight, unfortunatly we had to return early, but the manageress was very helpful with our sudden check... We had a lovely time at this hotel. Extremely clean, modern and probably the best buffet breakfast we have ever come across. We had the extra large balcony with sunbed but to be honest, rarely used it as it was too shaded. Would be good in the height of summer though if you wanted some shade. Other than breakfast, we only had a snack in the hotel on our last day, so can't really comment on the food. Reception staff are friendly and helpful and have good language skills, more than making... Read more

This is a delightful well run hotel 2 minutes from the sea front and all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are bright and clean with a balcony overlooking the sea. There is a large comfortable pool and excellent dining room that served a fantastic breakfast. For value, helpfulness and guaranteed good stay I highly recommend the Java.

Stayed at the Hotel Java several times many years ago, and wanted to see the changes since we were staying nearby. Decorated beautifully, modern comfy seating at the pool, as were the sun loungers. Place spotless, area modern and has an upstair sun terrace. An outside massage area curtained off for privacy. Enjoyable if you like that kind of thing? Pool spotless, lounge and bar area comfortable and prices not too expensive. It is in the quieter part of Playa de Palma. But if you want a bit of... Read more

Lovely hotel, had a great time. Location was good, plenty of sunbeds and nice pool area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. Nice modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. Bottled water supplied daily. Only thing I missed was tea making facilities. We were half board and the food was varied, we could always find something that we liked. The area itself was quiet but we were there for a chilled week and that's what we got.

Hotel was lovely, pool was great - never a problem getting sun loungers. Food buffet was excellent at both dinner and breakfast. Short bus ride to Palma - get the no.25 for a faster route the no.15 is a stopper. Great location for a stroll along the beach promenade in the evening for a great selection of bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend hiring bikes and riding along the front. Wifi is only free in the lobby - you have to pay in the room. Not the end of the world but you'd think by now ... Read more

This is a good, modern hotel, located in the nice quiet area of Playa de Palma and only minutes away from the beautiful, clean beach. The rooms are petite but totally sufficient. The modern décor helping to create more space and openness. The hotel was always spotless, and service at the bar was good and well attended. The evening entertainment was especially good. The hotel is a 6 euro ride from the airport but the minimum taxi fee is 20 euro which they tell you from the outset. You can see the airport from the hotel and hear the planes overhead but it's not to loud that it's a problem. The beds however are a problem as twin/double room we found out is the same thing! They just push the two single beds together and then you have a double!? When we asked the reception about it they said this is standard bedding in Spain. I don't believe that is so its just... I've been in the summer holiday at the end of July, beginning of August 2015 with my girlfriend for 9 nights in Palma de Mallorca. Hotel Java is a really nice hotel with a beautiful design. It is a great place for a holiday and it's very close to the beach in an area full of bars & restaurants. Unfortunately, during our stay we experienced some problems with the air conditioning system, which were solved after a couple of days. We spent 12 nights here on a half board basis earlier this month. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has a modern contemporary feel to it. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful as were the bar staff and restaurant staff. Fitness center is inadequate for a 4 star hotel --the one treadmill is barely functional, and is only open at 8, so you have to start your day fairly late if you want to work out in the morning. You have to pay to use the sauna, which is also not a nice sauna. No free WIFI in rooms, and the free public WIFI does not work well in central areas either (this is now a standard expectation!). Rooms are very small, so not great for families, and air conditioning is not strong enough for the hot summer... Read more

Recently stayed for a week at the Java Hotel and we were very pleased with the hotel. We had a room on 1st floor with our own terrace which was a nice plus. Especially as the sunbeds at the pool are limited and a lot of them blocked by lonely towels for the entire day. Here the staff should pay more attention as we saw approx 10 sunbeds who were blocked for the entire day whilst other guests were desperately searching for a place.
