We have been to arenal before and it is mostly a German resort except for this hotel which was mostly full of Spanish pensioners so the entertainment was mostly in spanish but id rather have spanish pensioners than german louts like most of the hotels in this area you also never have a problem with sunbeds as the spanish didnt seem to sunbathe the pool was a good size with more than enough sunbeds. The food was typical as other 3 star hotels with there always being something on the menu you will... Just back from El Arenal and Blue Sea Costa Verde. Not really a 3 Star but overall good value. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Maid every day but towels changed 3 times per week. They cater mainly for German and Europeans so expect a limited menu especially breakfast. Bacon beans and egg every day gets boring!! But for £139 all inclusive flights and transfers it's got to be considered vfm.

Had an enjoyable stay! All the staff are friendly , helpful and polite. Check-in was simple, We opted for the all inclusive option which we thought was great value for money! The rooms are basic but clean and the Maids came everyday to make our beds and change our towels! The hotel itself catered mainly for Spanish Guests and the food served in the restraunt was to suit these guests! However I found it all very tasty and enjoyably different! Plus the money that we saved by not eating elsewher... Read more

We arrived to be told they hadn't got rooms available for us and will have to go to another hotel ,we refused and they soon found us 2 rooms,we stayed here last year and enjoyed it so decided to go back this year,it wasn't as nice as last year I must admit,it seems they are all for the German people and English are second best ,having said that food was good although a bit on the cold side sometimes ,hotel is clean and rooms were clean and free towels each day ,not sure if we will go back again

My wife and I spent a weekend here we thoroughly enjoyed our time here . Whilst the food choice was limited it was very well cooked and tasty , the all inclusive drinks and snacks were also perfectly adequate. The hotel itself was a good size in a quiet area with a ten minute walk to the beach and seafront bars and restaurants. I would not hesitate to return to the hotel or the area . One minor issue was advertised free wife however it was only available in the reception area itself if this co... Read more

My friends and I were a bit apprehensive having read some of the reviews about this hotel but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Very clean friendly hotel. Plenty of choice and very good quality food. Would definitely return to this hotel again.

So i never like to complain but today we arrived at the hotel. As I know it's only a 3 star and we've stayed in plenty of 3 stars so we don't expect much but this is beyond a joke. We got to the hotel and the receptionist told us our room wouldn't be ready till 1. We requested an early check in but we knew it wasn't guaranteed. We then put our bags in a room whilst we went for a walk around. As we passed reception to walk out another couple managed to check in and go straight to their room whe... Read more

Undoubtedly reading the reviews in here lowered my expectations- and I'm glad I did- it only made my stay better. I think majority of people who complain about the old look of the hotel, choice of food or poor quality of everything and nothing, do no consider value for the money. I'd recommend getting All Inclusive offer, it will save you a lot of spendings. Eating out eventually is unavoidable of course, but shouldn't you try Spanish cousin anyway? To sum up, breakfast is quite boring, but for ... Read more

Ok where too start. Me and my gf went here from 15th June to 22nd June 2016. The room itself was pretty clean until we found ants. We told the reception but they said because the hotel was full they couldn't do anything about it. Maybe we just had bad timing being at the hotel at this time but the majority of the hotels clientele was 17-19 year students that just finished their exams. So all 7 nights we stayed there it was very noisy, yelling, shouting, banging the door shut, playing loud music and... Read more

We currently staying in this hotel right now. Hotel is fine as long as you are happy to stay up all night listening to screaming teenagers who bang short play loud music all hours of the night. Some nights we have it till 12am then quiet till 4am until They come back and think it's fine to scream and cause so much noise they wake people up. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 children age 3 and a baby. We got 3 beds! My son is currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor that we got from my... Read more

Giving this 3/5 as it was very average. Will start with the positive - the staff are friendly and helpful, the room is a good size, if a little basic and the location is ideal. 10 minutes from the beach and there are plenty of bars and shops en route. The all inclusive drinks were decent - love the Malibu slushies - but the food was hit and miss. Very international as I expected, some days were better than others. We never woke up in time for breakfast so can't comment. Now to the negative - th... Read more

We went for my birthday - we had a giggle - the facilities were very basic and the hotel needs updating - the staff were fun and easily to have a laugh with especially the lady who does the bingo and works the bar. The pool area is busy , the sunbeds are very limited and all cracked. I fell through mine!! Overall it was a good crack - the rooms are basic but tidy - I'm 6ft 4 and the beds were very small - I didn't fit lol Staff spoke good English and the hotel is right outside the aqua park - a... Look, its a 3 star hotel. its not perfect. the rooms are dated. but sure who goes on holiday to sit in their hotel room. its dead on. we (my wife and i (29/28 yr old)) enjoyed it alright. Its not exactly what i would call a family hotel. more a cheap stop for people looking a bit of a night life and a laze about the pool to nurse the hangover. Be careful, there is one youngish woman (quite large) on the reception who is a bit of a con. We got in touch with the hotel previous to our stay and... Read more

Okay so the rooms are dated. And the whole hotel actually is lol! It is very noisy with the amount of young people. But I am 21 so it was okay for me. Near the beach and restaurants and shops so good location. Can't comment on entertainment as left before I noticed anything in the evening. Not enough space by pool all the beds go so quick! Drinks are strong but I asked them a lot of the time to reduce the alcohol and they were happy to do so. Not impressed with food but seems to be a common th... Read more

Just returned this morning. Over all very old. Beds singles only... we had two single beds in our cupboard of a room 404. On asking at reception for a double bedded room was told they don't have any double beds in hotel. Very little space to put your belongings when unpacked. Half size bath but ok shower above. Drinks served in plastic glasses at all times except if you are buying a non all inclusive drink. Entertainment limited but ok. Food very mismatch and luke warm...interesting one was chi... Read more

Okay so we checked in at 11.30am and our room wasn't ready which was expected, the lady who checked us in didn't give us our all inclusive wristband until later on in the day (total oversight from the receptionist) but we went for a walk down to the beach to kill some time which is lovely, we stopped off for lunch at Jardin torrero (highly recommend) and headed back. The room (123) is what I can only describe as basic, two single beds with hard mattresses. The view was of an apartment block acro... Read more

We just arrived back after 4 days here. I came with family and friends was a cheap mini break for us all. Yes the food is touch and go but there was always something to eat the lunch was the best meal of the day the evening meal was disappointing. Drinks on all inclusive you definitely get your money's worth Malibu slushes were very nice! Yes the sun beds were split in places but put a towel over them and get on with it . Pool was lovely to cool off when it got too hot. We found if you got a cha... Read more
