The room was nicely decorated, but it was difficult to sleep because I heard every sound from surrounding rooms, the corridor and the lobby. I'm glad that the room wasn't facing the street. The cleaning of the room could definitely have been better. The floor was dusty, the balcony furniture weren't cleaned and - like so many other hotels - the bathroom had stains that probably are difficult to get rid of. The rooftop bar/pool area was small and crowded. I would say that the room was not really ... Read more

We stayed here for 5 nights in July. The hotel was completely worth the money we paid! We had everything we needed and more than we expected! The rooms were modern and spotless, air conditioned and came with a bath tub. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the pool area. One thing that did let this hotel down on our visit was that there were a lot of renovation work. This can't be helped as the hotel was improving itself and making all the rooms as great as ours and hopefully they have ... Read more

Staff were nice and gave good service , the so called upgraded room was marginal from last years but not marginal increase in price ......... The rooms are small for the tariff charged . The pool side did not have enough loungers . The bar prices have got silly i.e. 12 Euros for a gin and tonic and it was not a large gin btw . I have left expensive Ray Bann prescription glasses in the room and despite 4 e mails no reply ........hey ho there it is .........different from last year where they resp... Read more

Stayed for 4 nights. Great location with everything within walking distance. Excellent service in reception, friendly, great English. The room was very clean with nice design. Beautiful rooftop terrace with view of the port and cathedral. A small, but nice pool, bar and sunbeds. Jazz club three nights a week, which is quite loud, but didn't bother us. Did not try breakfast, but had one lunch at hotel, which was good.

We stayed for a 3 night break recently and were pleasantly surprised at how handy this hotel is to all the "biz" in Palma. It's close to many many restaurants and bars and the womenfolk loved the shopping. It also has a great jazz bar on it's 7th floor and 2 pools ( 1 up top and 1 on the ground floor). Service was excellent and the room comfortable. The wet-room type shower didn't really work for us, however, as the floor in the bathroom always ended up soaked. The free wifi was very good and th... Clean and spacious superior double room with comfortable bathroom and balcony. Helpfull and friendly staff. The bar area, restaurant and Cafe was great. The pool areas was ok, but small at the roof, could need some new sunbeds and parasol. Missing possibility to make te/coffee in the room.

Stayed for four nights. As two couples it was nice to have rooms next to each other. Room was spacious and had a balcony which looked on to the road at the side, which was fine as it wasn't that busy. Bed was two 3 foot beds pushed together....it was a bit harder than I like and there was only one pillow. There was a stocked bar (didn't use it) and a free safe, which was good. Sadly no tea/coffee making facilities. Lots of toiletries but the hairdryer was one of the useless ones that hang on the... Read more

This is the 4th time I have stayed at the family owned Hotel Saratoga and for several days each time. Given I had tried others before this - is my absolute favourite. There is nothing not to like about it whether its for business or pleasure. Always the same staff to greet you who recognise you - a good sign of a well run hotel. Plus many of the guest I meet have also been there several times, that has to sum it all up.

The location is perfectly placed to visit the sights of Palma either by foot or bicycle. (We opted to walk around the town and get lost in the shopping side streets more than once!) We arrived earlier than we should have since check in is from 2pm however the staff had our room ready by 1.30. In the meantime we looked around the hotel and 'top bar' and pool area and relaxed after our journey. The facilities are second to none, the roof top pool and sun terrace are SO relaxing with soft music pl... Read more

Great hotel. The only thing lacking is an iron & ironing board in each room. Having to check the iron in and out from the front desk is an inconvience. Otherwise this is a great hotel with excellent staff!!

The Saratoga has become our regular hotel when we need to stay over in Palma. The location is extremely central, with everything within walking distance. It has two pools, one on the roof, a well equipped roof-top gym with views to take your mind off the exercise, a bar with a huge Gin selection and Weekend Jazz. The rooms range from large singles, through doubles up to Junior Suites which can accommodate two adults and two children - three at a push. All are comfortable and well equipped and t... Read more

We spent two nights here. There are many reasons I won't be returning, but here are just a few; Overpriced - we paid nearly £350 for a standard (very standard/Travelodge style) room. Having just left a gorgeous beach front hotel with amazing views over the sea, a dingy, ground floor room, in which we couldn't open the curtains onto the roadside wasn't really what I consider to be good value for money. When we arrived, we were told our rooms weren't ready, as we had requested rooms next to each ... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights, 2 rooms , checked out this morning -5th July. Hotel itself is not bad, the jazz bar on the 7th floor is nice, the food also good with pleasant staff and great views over Palma port. The staff however, need some help with customer focussed training. They are there to please themselves, not the guests. Offhand at best, arrogant and rude at worst. We had an early flight so were due to leave at 7.15, and the taxi arriving at 7pm put us in a bit of a spin, not wanting to k... Read more

Ok so you have to hunt around for a deal but it is worth it , I got a three days midweek visit that was well within my budget . Nicely centrally located and within easy walking distance of the old walls . The room itself had everything I would expect at the price and the staff all appear to be multilingual and very knowledgeable about most things local , anything they are not sure about they will find out quick sharp . A most enjoyable stay .

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my adult daughter, a friend and her daughter. We had superior rooms which I would strongly recommend you upgrade to as they are worth the extra. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly cleaned. Communal seating areas and Lobby etc are stunning. Staff are friendly and so helpful. We paid B&B rates to have breakfast which I thought was good value compared to lots of hotels and there was lots of choice all fresh and plentiful. The jazz bar is an added bonus ... Read more

It was a perfect choice! Its at the edge of the old town and overlooking the marina. Accross the street are many pubs bars and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. If only we knew that walking out of the hotel and taking a left then another left would put us at the back pf passeig de mallorca and all the shops! There are very Good restaurants there too. You can also ask for car rental and drive to many beaches.

This hotel is in a really great location for exploring beautiful Palma. The Jazz Club bar is a lively place on nights when a band is playing & a lovely setting for a quiet drink & views of the city at other times of the day. Rooms good. Breakfast really good choice & quality. Only one downside is the rooftop pool is very busy & difficult to get a spot as only quite small. Service was good most of the time with the exception of the outside front cafe.

We had 2 nights at Saratoga. We started with a major problem - there were 3 of us and our room was designed for 2 people! The hotel blamed the travel agency but this didn't cut it. They said only a 'junior suite' could accommodate 3 when plainly on every website I've now looked at, they allow a party of 3 to book the type of room I booked. And I had put a note for the hotel on the booking clarifying that we would need twin beds and a cabin/extra bed for a party of 3. Anyway, there we stood at th... Read more

The hotel is perfectly situated for a Palma Weekend. It is Clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast was great. The roof top terrace was magnificent but unfortunately a bit too crowded. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We would also like to come back ourselves but would probably not bring our Children since the poolareas are not suitable for them to play.

Nice 4star hotel, central Palma location, close to both the old town and the central shopping quarter. There is a rooftop swimming pool and also another at ground level. All perfect, nice rooms and great location for exploring Palma. Good service, and lovely rooms. The roof top pool area is great, but to few sunbeds and not very nice plants. Could be a lot nicer. And move to trim room to basement and rather have more sunbeds! The food, bar & service was all exellent up at The roof. View is great. The pool at ground floor has even bigger potential! Not tidy, no green/flowers to speak of, and hardly any sunbeds. Still recommend The Hotel ;-)

I had a room on the ground floor. It was very small (bed takes nearly all the space of the room). The door and walls are thin so you can hear people outside walking by and chatting. I asked for a alternative room but it was not possible to change. Hotel is clean and breakfast is good. Location is super. Bed was good Quality.
