The hotel is extremely outdated. The staff in general doesn't put an effort in giving the guest a good experience. When I arrived at the hotel at 22.30 at night, there was absolutely nobody in reception, so I could not check in. I was in a hurry as I was late for a dinner, so I had to find a bathroom and have a shower and get changed. The receptionist came back at around midnight, and I could finally check in to my room, at least to leave my luggage there. There was absolutely no apology for thi... Read more

Stayed in the suite on the top floor. Great room, with a large roof terrace. I would recommend this particular room for those who enjoy a sea view and like to spend time in the hotel room. I would book this again.

The hotel has a good view over the marina in Palma and was great value for money for our purpose. Our room had a balcony overlooking the marina and was of a good standard. Breakfast was well presented and there was a huge variety of food. There was some difficulty over payment with a changed visa card but the staff dealt with this cheerfully and courteously.

I think has the most beautiful view in the city. Also breakfast and dinner eeee excellent in big variety. Internal pool and jaccuzi are very nice extras... rooms eeee in classic decoration.staff of the hotel was very helpful and polite

Location is good providing you get a top floor room facing the harbour, nice breakfast so worth paying extra. Funny rather obnoxious smells in bathroom with no windows and the aircon does not seem to work in there either. Superb views of the harbour but lunch is a bit of a let down. Wine list is poor and you can wait ages for service. Due to the high number of Germans and Spanish clients the language skills of the staff in English is left wanting. This is not a four star hotel although the view... Read more

We arrived at the Catalonia and had first class service from begining to the end. Nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast is also super even for the fussiest traveller.! I will certainly be back next year and would highly recommend this hotel.

A good hotel but located a bit far from the city enter which makes the hotel a bit too expensive according to location. Breakfast was good, though a bit more variety in vegetables would be good. And also stronger coffee!

We arrived home yesterday 30th june after spending a few days in Palma . We arrived at the hotel quite early as we had come from another resort, we had planned to put the cases in and use the pool until our room was ready. But at reception we were welcomed by the most abrupt rude man ( the manager i think) our early arrival seemed to be a real inconvenience for him, then he went on to tell us we had only booked for one person, when clearly our paperwork showed we had booked and payed for 2 adul... Following a not too unreasonable 24euro ride from the airport we arrived at the hotel around 2pm. Greeted by very a friendly receptionist Cristina who gave us a room key so we could look at the room before being allocated it. To be honest we were a bit of a pain as we ended up looking at three rooms. This did not phase Christina who was lovely throughout the check in process. She is a credit to the hotel. In fact, throughout our stay all the staff were very warm and friendly. The leaky shower h... Read more

Just returned from a Mum and daughter short break. Booked a sea view room, which was well worth the price. Room was lovely and clean. We added on breakfast at the hotel for each morning, 10euros each, well worth the money - very good choice, excellent coffee, staff in the restaurant were brilliant, very polite and kept the restaurant and buffet looking lovely. Reception staff were very helpful and polite, it was great that when staff busy behind the desk they'd have another member of staff in ... Read more

We stayed for one night at this centrally located hotel and the most important to mention is the friendly staff behind the desk. Actually If not the kind people at the reception I wouldn't agree to call it a four star hotel. Definitely overpriced by minimum 40%.

Just returned from a four day break .The sea view rooms have fantastic views over the harbour. Breakfast at an additional charge of 10 euros was tremendous value. Room was lovely and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was also very good and reasonably priced.

We were staying with friendsand had a good time. The location is very good and the hotel in general is pleasant. The downside is that you can hear all the noise from the outside especially at night. Also the pool is super small and doesn't fit the look and feel of the hotel

Hotel is consistent with hiring friendly people. Seems they have a lot of turnover. For business is a good place, location and food is very good. My third time there. Overall nice, summer month very busy not very quiet with lots of families and tourist.

For the basic room the décor was quite nice. I wish I had more time to swim in the pool. It was about a 30 minute walk from the beach and about a 15 minute bus ride from the city center. It is really convenient

My wife and I stayed at the hotel recently for 5 days. It has a great location overlooking the harbour and cathedral and is only a 15-20 min journey from the airport. Like most of the hotels in Palma it is build on a hillside so be prepared for a bit of a climb (or some steps) when walking. It is a 45-50 min walk from the hotel to the cathedral but is a pleasant journey along the harbour. On a couple of occasions we got a taxi which takes about 10 mins and costs around 7.50?. The hotel is mo... Read more

Lovely weekend away with girl friends hotel had great views and a short taxi to Palma centre. It's a fair walk to Palma and a very steep walk back we used the taxis only 7 euro ish . Hotel could do with a lick of paint outside as getting tired but apart from that lovely.

Mallorca is a great place for beaches although the roads can be daunting and you will need time to look for the correct exit to the right places. I would still recommend that people go to Mallorca and you will need to rent a car to explore the island because it is pretty huge. The caves are a must visit and I love the classical pianist playing the music in the caves on a boat. Splendid experience over there!

Ok, when we arrived there was two reception staff one was helping with check in and the other with out which was fine so we got into the 'in' que. after about ten minutes the 'out' que was empty and the blonde member of staff continued to ignore us. Then a spanish family arrived while we were still waiting and she continued to serve them and ignore us! Not the best start to our stay...... As our room wasn't ready so we went out for the day, which was fine as we had arrived early.....the followi... Read more

Stayed here for a week with my husband and our 18 year old daughter. My husband and I wanted a city break, whilst our daughter wanted to practice her Spanish. We had booked two rooms one with sea view. On arrival our rooms were not ready, so our cases were put in a secure room and we were advised that we could use the hotel bar & terrace until our rooms were ready, which would be about 2pm. We had been travelling since 3am that morning and were feeling hot & sticky. Somewhere to have a quick wa... Read more

Good clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Only fault was that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Our rooms were 217 (sea view) and 224 (partial sea view and a cooler room). 217 looked out across the harbour and was above the terrace, which for mid July we were surprised at the lack of noise. We were shocked with it's position which was up a hill, and a lot further out of Palma than we thought, but the advantages were that it was quiet at night time and the local bus (No... Read more

Myself, mum and sister have just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay at the hotel Majorca! We had a triple room with a sea view (picture attached) it's definitely worth paying the extra for the view given how amazing it is!! (The triple room is actually just a double with a camp bed as extra so pretty snug for 3 adults!!) We payed extra ?10 each per day for the breakfast and it was definitely worth it- lots and lots of choice!! The pool and terrace both have amazing views of the harbour an... Read more
