The hotel it's self is nice with fresh rooms with friendly staff and good bar strong drinks lol with super sea views Wifi is free and available on all the grounds and rooms Bad points Hotel is on high ground with many steps and hilly roads you will need to use to access shops and sea views so do not recommend for users with walking issues or do not like to walk Hotel entertainment is poor for us as a young group but would seek the older clients the entertainment is on 3 nights a week only a... The hotel was amazing. it is massive and it has good buffet and big swimming pools for adults and one for the children. The people was very friendly and very polite and helpful. Me and my partner went for 4 nights, 11th April 2016 until 15th April 2016. The weather was amazing, it was 25-26 degrees. We were lucky for having a great weather. Food= It was delicious, and it was great. However, my partner did not like the food very much on our 2 last days. He was very disappointed. The hotel need ... Read more

Lovely hotel, situated on a busy road but lucky we had a room far away from it, so no road noise. Check in went smoothly and we quickly went to our room. it was clean and comfortable . Some parts of the room does need some updating ie furniture but was fine for us. We had ground floor with a pool view, it rained the 3 days we spent there except for the evening when the sun made a late arrival so we didn't use the pool or sun beds. The staff were friendly and the bar staff were very quick. I used... Read more

Arrived at midday but were unable to check in straight away. We were given all inclusive bands and a place to store luggage then went to the pool bar for an hour. Once checked in we went to our room. It was clean and tidy but so small I kept kicking the bed when I walked past. Went to the pool daily and never struggled to get a lounger although lots of them were broke. The food had limited choice but we always managed to find something to eat. The drinks omg are that strong they are like rocket ... Read more

Excellent hotel, quiet and peaceful. Friendly, helpful staff on reception and at all the bars. Everyone was great. Food was varied and lovely. Lots of choice for all main meals and more choice on the pool bar menu than I have ever had before! The pool was lovely and clean and cold. Sun beds were always available and plenty of parasols. The views were astounding and the rooms lovely and air conditioned with free wifi. Shower was really brilliant, and balcony was lovely. Yes there are stairs from ... Read more

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July and am I glad it was only for 3 nights! We arrived to the hotel prior to check in. Our first impressions of the hotel were good. However when we was given the key to our shoe boxed size, very dated room, my opinion was altered. It wasn't until later that we found out you had to go to reception in order to have the remote for the tv and you have to rent a hairdryer. I have never had this at any hotel, especially would have not expected at an all inclusive... Read more

Room was lovely... that was it! The dining staff were helpful and pleasant but bar staff are tired after working long hours and make you feel when you are all inclusive that you should be grateful for their attention. Paying guests will be encouraged to approach the bar before all inclusive guests. I complained to the manager about customer service.. I hope this improves for future guests. The entertainment, is dated and only on occasionally. Aqua's Barbie girl is played when there isn't enterta... Read more

I travelled here in July for 10 days. The hotel was very clean, I cannot doubt that, as was the hotel, the only downsides of the hotel are the male bar staff, the cleanliness of the pool, lack of sun beds - 75% being broken!! And most certainly the steps!! It is clearly stated on the bar 1 drink per person, which is fair enough, this was for alcohol. I went and asked for 1 beer and 1 water which I was refused!!! Drinks are served around the pool in plastic cups, understandable but the size of th... Read more

I chose this for a reonably priced week in the sun. It's close to the airport so transfers are quick although I think the 38 euro price for a 15min journey is expensvie for just 2 people. We were checked quickly and my preference for a fairly high sea view room had been granted and the view of the bay was stunning. The room was kept clean and towels changed every day. Breakfasts were good - beans like home with plenty of choice for other dishes. Evening meal could be a bit hit and miss but ove... Read more

We arrived late on a Sunday after our holiday was cancelled by lowcostholidays. The man on reception was very helpful and managed to book us in still. The staff were friendly and helpful and offered advice to get into Palma. The pool is great, very sunny and not too busy. The food was very repetitive but edible, the drinks were great, but often a queue especially at the Pool bar. I would recommend walking down to the harbour and beach, and taking a trip into Palma as it is only 20 minutes awa... Read more

Rooms where not ready for 2pm check in and the rooms very very shabby and dated no door on our wardrobe. The views where amazing though and cleaners where good too. The food was awful and so little choice - chips every day school dinners are better.,the toaster machine is a joke it just about warms your bread and takes for ever. Headed here with a bit of trepidation after reading some of the reviews on here but as it was booked on a budget we didn't expect what we normally pay for. However for what we paid there wasn't much to criticise. Staff - found the staff to be pleasant enough. The lady in the restaurant who never stopped was always very friendly and Paco behind the bar was helpful - maybe if you try and speak a little Spanish you get a better response off them. Room - can't fault it - basic but clean and every... Read more

As 3 full paying adults sharing,it was disappointing to find the 3 rd bed was just a sofa bed which was so uncomfortable and noisey in a pokey little room with limited wardrobe space. The balcony was small enough to fit only 2 chairs and no room for a table and the room had only one power supply yet the bathroom had two. The television only operated if you paid for the remote but the good news is, it was cleaned everyday and the shower was adequate. The pool was ok but sun beds were all taken ... Read more

Came for a week and was pleasantly surprised . Was on all inclusive and have to say there was plenty of choice. Always at least 2 meat dishes and fish and vegetables of a Spanish feel ( it is Spain after all) plenty of different salads. Never went to the pool so can't comment. Our balcony was great being on the corner with stunning views. Staff all friendly Paco.Boris Peter and all the lovely girls in restaurant and housekeeping. Just returned from a week family holiday at Blue Bay. The hotel has beautiful views over the bay and harbour and the hotel itself is very clean and relaxing, with a fair sized swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers. It is situated on top of a hill, with lots of steps or a slope down to the town, but it isn't too bad. The staff were very friendly, particularly Paco and Boris behind the bar. The hotel was great for a weekend stay but any longer and I think my opinion would have changed. The room was quite small as was the restaurant. The food was ok but there wasn't a great selection. The area is very hilly with a lot of steps. Again, this was ok for a couple of days but for a week or more it may have been a bit much. I would definitely return for a weekend but for a longer break I would look elsewhere.

The staff are great and happy all of the time...But shoutout to the Legend Paco the bar staff absolute legend tip: if you be nice to him he'll treat u like royalty top notch person he's boldy so it's easy to find him ???...The only let down was the food nothing wrong just that they could have put more effort in to the food and selective of the food 5/10 for the food + not q far walk from the beach

Just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. It's an average hotel though if you get a sea view room the views across the bay are amazing. The rooms are dated and in need of a refresh and the bed was not very comfortable, and there is a lack of plug socket. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Though the room was spotlessly clean. Pool area is nice though again bar area is dated and could do with updating. Staff were efficient though not overly friendly or helpful. Make sure you buy your b... Read more

A 1 wk stay at the blue bay was enough! The hotel , rooms, pool and grounds are cleaned to perfection by friendly staff . Rooms are basic but nice and a sea facing room a must as the view is great! However the food is not the best , very basic , repetitive and bland that is highly over seasoned . (1wk saw salty rabbit stew 4times!) .The bar is another interesting topic , how a seemingly friendly bar man (PACO) can tell people they have reached there limit for all inclusive drinks and must pay (a... Hotel and grounds were clean with friendly staff. Food was ok always found something to eat and I am a fussy eater, for what we wanted, a base for the weekend, it was fine. Hotel was set up from the main road with shops and bars and there was either a long steep road to walk up with no path or a set of over 100 steps to climb, we opted for the steps but it was hard work...needed a drink and a sit down when you got to the top!lol Would not be suitable for older or less mobile people. Have just returned from staying 9 days at the Blue Bay Lanzorete. I found this hotel to be a little dated but that is the only negative about it. The food was good and plenty of variety; The staff were at the dining room door to meet you and take you to a table. There is also a snack bar that you can get food throughout the day ie toasties burgers etc. The rooms were spacious and towels changed daily except Wednesday when maids had their day off. Situated halfway up a steep hill, this hotel is not for the mobility impaired. To reach the hotel from Cala Mayor, you have a choice of the Slope of Death or the Steps of Doom. The Slope of Death is the main road that doesn't have a path, so we chose the Steps of Doom. They take you straight to the hotel's front door. However, there is a church, handily situated at the foot of the Steps, so if you expire whilst ascending, you can be easily rolled down to the church, where you can do a different ... Read more

Great views and peaceful surroundings, nice gardens and Pool ( with bar), friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get a taxi for the 4 of us, got to the Cathedral in Palma that way. We did HB and seemed good choice, lunch -ate out on mostly baguettes and beer /cola. Would visit again a pleasure :)

The food was plentiful ,regularly replenished ,and there was always enough choice for us. The salads and fruit were very good ,as was the chili , meatballs and rice pudding. We stayed here on 14 Oct for 2 nights. We were on a budget and this hotel fulfilled our needs perfectly. We caught the no.1 bus into Palma 5 Euros single per person which dropped us off in the Plaza Espana, great to have a wonder from here down towards the Cathedral. Sights I'd recommend on the way are the market - 'Mercat de l'Olivar,' people watching in the Plaza Mayor, and of course the Cathedral. Only 20 minutes by regular bus service from centre of Palma. Very clean rooms and polite and helpful staff. Best of all it was such great value at only £24 per night for a double room on half board. Only 10 minutes walk from the local sandy beach in Cala Mayor. Quiet location, with a great view of the sea and harbour.
