A great clean and friendly hotel, with named branded drinks and great family themed night time entertainment. Food was good and changed every day, even the poolside bar food was good during the day. our room was around the back next to the swamp, nature reserve area, so you will need your mosquito spray during the summer months

Stayed with wife and 2 year old son, There is enough amenities to keep the little one entertained, Apartments are basic but have all you need, maybe a bit more cooking space would be good, no oven just a microwave and 2 hobs, not great for a self catering family. Went into the evening entertainment one night only and not really many english songs for kids were played on the night we stayed in. The other nights I am nott sure mainly because out boy was asleep before the entertainment started. It... Read more

We really enjoyed our week stay at Sun Village, the staff were amazing, all helpful and friendly. I have a gluten intolerance and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure I was well fed. I didn't feel like I missed out on anything, I felt like I was very well looked after! Very impressed! The pools are a little cold, so we went to the beach most mornings (5 minute walk) and used the pools later in the afternoon, after 3pm they are perfect! The evening entertainment was very impressi... Read more

Visited at half term staying in nice two bedroom apartment with plenty of room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good with different choices each day along with pizza, chips, pasta, salads, fruit etc. All inclusive drinks included named spirits. Had a go at water polo, tennis, pool, archery and shooting. Varied evening entertainment good too. Took the bus to Alcudia Market for 1.55 euros. Wifi not the best but there's 2 computers in reception you can use for free.

We have just arrived home after a week at this hotel. Our party consisted of 3 adults one 9yr and a 3yr. This is a great hotel we were fully inclusive and it's the only place I have stayed where all inclusive does actually mean what it says. All food and drinks including alcoholic as well as cocktails are included. The staff were lovely and so helpful the food is first class with plenty of choice. The pools are perfect with small pools for the very young and a pool with a large pirate ship for ... Read more

My partner and I had booked a different hotel, however our operator moved us here. Stroke of luck! Small, well laid out, low level buildings and spacious entertainment and eating areas. Perfect for couples or families alike. Plenty of entertainment throughout the day, without being intrusive, food and drink was spot on and it's only a few minute walk from the beach. I'd firmly recommend this to families with little ones as its compact and small and felt safe for them to roam about. Buy insect... Read more

Well, what can I say! First of all this place is a MUST for any family big or small. My 2 year old and 5 year old had the best time ever. Clean tidy and staff very friendly. We went self catering but ended up paying for the BBQ most evenings as the food was fresh and very tasty. The rooms were lovely, cleaned 5 days out of the 7. Evening entertaintment was fab, only downfall to the entertaintment was the kids club was mainly in German, therefore was a little difficult for my son to understand. C... Read more

Just back from 2 weeks at the sun village and was very impressed with most things, When we arrived and were checking in we were given a bottle of water each, which was much appreciated as it was very hot. Check in was very quick and we were given a garden apartment which was very clean and contained a large bottle of water in the fridge. The sheets were changed every 3 days and the apartments cleaned 5 days a week. The shower was amazing with the biggest shower head I have ever seen. There i... Read more

Just returned from a 4 day trip here . I have to say the staff were lovely, food was excellent , free bar limitless and it was very clean . If you want a sunbed , peace and quiet or wifi don't go . The sunbed ( all covered in towels by breakfast but empty) wasn't a deal breaker as the beach is only a five minute walk away but the wifi was an issue as I work while away . Not available in apartments at all only in reception or the pool bar and even then very weak . It's only a minor problem to mos... Read more

I have never done a review before but thought I must as we had such a lovely time. This hotel has everything for family's with young children, the children's pool and park are perfect for keeping them entertained, lovely gardens that are well maintained, staff are friendly lovely to sit outside in the evenings for entertainment (which I would say is more directed for the kids) but that disintegrated bother us. My boys 5 and 3 are a bit to shy for the kids club but wish they weren't as the animat... Read more

Have just come back from a week here with my husband and four month old daughter. We arrived about lunch time and were able to check in straight away. On arrival we were given complimentary (much needed) bottles of water. The staff spoke excellent English and were very quick and helpful. The only grumble I would have is that we had to pay 4 euros a day for the cot and we were told by Thomas Cook that the cot was included. This is of course not the hotels fault. We were in an apartment on th... Read more

Family holiday with my boyfriend as well, considering it's mainly reviews about all the children's activities our family of ages 51, 53, 22,21 and 16 all had a great time. Staff are all extremely helpful and friendly showed me and my boyfriend where the close activities were such as banana boating, go karting, nice restaurants for couples all within walking or bus distance. Food was brilliant; different everyday and always a section with freshly cooked food, if you're going out for the day a... Read more

Had a great stay - hotel clean, staff helpful, very relaxing. Swimming pool great for young children (there is a larger pool, we didn't use it but older kuds and adults seemed to enjoy it). We were self catering but ate in the hotel sometimes (just paid individually for our meals) and thought the food was good. The apartment was pretty basic but, again, clean and the beds were comfy, air conditioning kept temperature pleasant, balcony was also well laid out. Playa de Muro itself is a nice resor... Read more

Our family booked a 2 bed apartment for 5 adults and an infant. We were allocated room 301 a ground floor room with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/ lounge ( with sofa bed) and a huge outdoor space. Each bedroom has plenty of storage and a huge storage area in the lounge. We upgraded to All Inclusive @ 39 euros per person per day. The meals were of a good quality with fresh produce and a huge choice. On the AI you can book to go to the nightly BBQ which makes a change from the buffet and... Read more

Room was a great disappointment Small, old musty smelling. Couldn't fit 2 people around the outside space too small. Very disappointing as the rest of the Holiday was superb, staff food entertainment, everything. Wouldn't go there again to stay in a pokey, smelly room with no views. Kitchen basic tired. Pull out bed in lounge single bed in a box, not a double bed settee. settee stained. Bed in main room 2 single not double not comfortable.

We visited BQ Sun Villlage Alcudia in June 2016. We had reserved just an apartment for our holiday. We ate breakfast in the first morning and we noticed there were a possibility to get food for our gluten and milk free persons (two of four). Hotel takes so good care of this allergy thing that we bought half board for our stay. We got a small card with room numbers and all allergies worth to notice. At the breakfast and the dinner we just showed this card to the waiters and everything was arrenge... Read more

We booked at the Alcudia Sun Village not knowing much about the area and chose self catering rather than full board as we wanted to experience a variety of authentically Spanish food in local restaurants. The accommodation was clean, staff friendly and facilities great. Self catering is a very liberal interpretation as the kitchen/lounge/bedroom was rather small but served its purpose. Across the road was a Spar shop selling most things that you may need. Expensive though, so I advise that you b... Read more
