Our fifth visit just as much fun as our first. This year there is a new large pool where there were previously under-used tennis courts, whilst we were, at first, concerned that this area, now accommodating hundreds of sun beds, may have altered the atmosphere of the hotel, it provides necessary outside space for sunbathing and swimming. Overall the hotel is a pleasure to stay in, staff are helpful and work hard to make everything perfect. If you're thinking about going do it, you'll love it! ... Read more

We spent a week here and had a lovely time. The hotel was spotless and there was a good choice of food. Our room was cleaned every day. We stayed in No. 1214 which faced a side road, but the views were lovely and we got the sun on the balcony from late afternoon til early evening, which was great as we took drinks back to the room and were able to chill on the balcony before getting ready for the evening. There seem to be a few negative reviews on here but for what you pay to stay here you s... Read more

We arrived at the hotel and were quickly dealt with and went up to our room. Nice size on the first floor but the balcony was very disappointing with only a small Juliette balcony that only just held 2 chairs so couldn't, sit out. We were facing the outside bar and seating area but had lovely trees and shrubs directly in front of the balcony so that was ok. It seems that the block we were in were the only ones with these balconies as all the others appeared to have big balconies with plenty o... Read more

Visited for a week in May and suffered horrendous weather only managing to leave the hotel on a couple of occasions. Having said that the hotel is excellent providing good food , drinks and accommodation. We had a room overlooking the new pool area . The room had been updated and had everything required for a good stay. The restaurant has also been refurbished and in my view is perhaps a little too cosy. Visited last year, mid season and had an awesome holiday even though the hotel was at capacity. This year we went earlier ... without the kids ;o) and were blown away. The hotel gardens were in full bloom and stunning, the restaurant was superb (yet again) and nothing was too much trouble - probably because most of the staff from last year were there again, so they care and it all feels like family (if that makes sense). Back from this Hotel three day ago, good and bad points. Food in the hotel canteen style but very nice, rooms basic but clean. (NOT RECORD GO CAR HIRE, WAITED 1H 20MINS for the car at the airport. Not a hotel for older couples, more for young family's and young couples ... Read more

This hotel is very nice and very pretty, the staff take a lot of pride in the upkeep of the lovely grounds. The rooms are very clean, although the slippy shower head did pose an issue, until we found an elastic band to resolve. Our room was facing onto the main road and at times could be a little noisy. The Food was very good and varied, especially the fish dishes. The only slight gripe with the food was the breakfast which was the same every day.

Visited in July and whilst the hotel was clean and very well kept I have to agree with a number of the reviews re the miserable staff - particularly those serving at the bar . The food was ok - usually something you could eat, but for the price of the booking I would say not bad value . Now to the my real gripe ! The rep was new to the job and on the occasions we went to see her she was clearly dis - interested ! Every time we walked away she went straight back to her mobile and resumed textin... Read more

First impression we got at the hotel was unfriendly reception staff not very welcoming at all , after checking in they informed us our rooms wouldn't be ready for one hour so we went to the dining room and had lunch the food was well presented and a good choice feeling refreshed we went back to reception for our keys but the room was still not ready ! Another ten minutes we were told ten twenty thirty more passed by this time we were getting irritated we just wanted to get into our rooms and get... Read more

Pools- main big pool was very busy, couldn't get sunbeds as all were reserved with towels by 6:30 am despite no reserve policy. The pool was closed 4 days during our break due to sanitary reasons which was due to sick and poo in the pool. The small kids pool was lovely for kids age up to around 5 years of age. There is a quiet pool across the road from the reception which is unknown by most guests so is nice and relaxing. Drinks- really good, service was good and quick only negative is that yo... Read more

We stayed for ten nights at the beginning of July and we had a great family holiday. We did pay a little extra for a superior room so were lucky to overlook the new swimming pool. The hotel grounds are kept clean and tidy and are really lovely with all the flowers and garden areas. The food was good with a great choice every day and to be honest even very fussy eaters would struggle to go hungry as there really was something for everyone. There was a great choice of drinks available on the AI in... Read more

Returned Sunday 31st July from a 14 night stay. This was our second visit to this hotel and I can honestly say we enjoyed it every bit if not more than last time (2014) The staff are so hard working and it was lovely to see some familiar faces. The only reason these poor people may come across as grumpy is that they are constantly spoken to like they are a piece of dirt by guests. These people work their socks off to deliver fast and efficient service and a please or thank you goes a long way! W... Read more

We just returned from this well maintained hotel. We were very surprised as to the quality of the food. It was always freshly cooked varied and tasty. Yes it is buffet, does get busy but hey it was august! We were allocated two rooms in the Sevilla block which is located across the road from the main complex. They were clean, generously sized rooms, however the view of the main A7 coastal dual carriageway was not our idea of a relaxing break in the sunshine! We approached the very friendly... Read more

We have just returned from Cortijo Blanco hotel. We have had a fantastic 10 night summer holiday. The whole complex is very clean and tidy. We found our room quite suitable for a family of four. The comfy beds and air-con meant comfortable nights sleep was had by all, our room overlooked the new pool, in the Almeria block. It is definitely worth requesting a room in this area. We found all our meals in the restaurant to be of excellent quality for a three star hotel. Meat, fish, pasta all been... Read more

Stayed here for 10 days, got back yesterday. Hotel and grounds are beautiful, gardens very picturesque, low level hotel so much nicer than the high rise hotels we normally stop in. Food - breakfast, lunch and tea - so much choice, all very tasty. Don't know how people can complain there isn't anything they like. Always 3 or 4 meat or fish choices. Snack bar is open late at night too which we've not had in other hotels before. Rooms - stayed in a twin room (2 adults 2 children) overlooking new... Read more

We have recently returned from a week long family break at the Cortijo Blanco Hotel and can honestly say all four of us had an absolutely lovely time. The hotel has a mainly traditional Spanish quality about it but with fresh, modern bedrooms, restaurant and reception. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained with palm trees, banana trees, hibiscus, roses etc etc which made a relaxing environment. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff worked extremely hard. We took part in various ac... Read more

Just back from 11 nights at globales Cortijo Blanco . Read all the reviews for it and Gotta say it's one of the best little jems out there for the price. Me and my partner got it for £1340 AI and it was real value for money , I read reviews that say the staff could be off with you but we found them to be fine and as helpful as required. The room we had 160 was small but adequate and the air conditioning was great , the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The food was fine but the dinning ... Read more

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Cortijo Blanco as a group of 6. This is our 5th time at the hotel and each year improvements are being made. Fantastic grounds and rooms with all necessary amenities. We had 2 rooms between the 6 of us that were next to each other in the Malaga block. This block is situated next to the children's pool towards the back of the hotel, and is just across from the new main pool - which is a fantastic addition to the hotel's increasing popularity. All staff are... Read more

We stayed at this hotel first week of August as a family of 5 & overall were very impressed . As most other reviews have said very good standards for a 3* hotel . We stayed in 2 rooms, good size, cleaned & towels changed daily. Our rooms were in the block overlooking the new pool on second floor - worth asking for a room in this area if you don't want lots of noise from the entertainment stage & bar in the evening I would not have wanted a room there as shows went on until midnight & people sat ... Just home after a weeks stay. I will put my review in bullet points. Food...fantastic and huge choice, caters for all tastes. There is the snack bar which is open when the main restaurant is closed, this works great as there is lots of fun to be had at the pools and various other activity areas and you can fit in snacking. The all inclusive drinks were a life saver, but the ice creams and lollies had to be paid for, we just went to snack bar as there was ice cream in there and was included in th... Read more

Went on family holiday with the four of my family including 2 young teenagers, all inclusive Positives: clean well maintained food good choice, drinks good, once you got your baring good walks all around you and the Emerald Bar behind hotel also good for watching sports Bad things: beach sand a bit soar on feed with some stones and if you want to be in the heart of a town this is not the place for you, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay

We have just returned from a 10 night stay here, we had a great time and would definitely recommend. The staff worked around the clock keeping the grounds and eateries spotless. Not once did we have to sit at a sticky table in the entertainment area, the same can be said for the floors; they too were hosed down daily. Another thing worth mentioning; the many bins around the complex were emptied around the clock, which kept the grounds looking spotless and reduced the attraction to wasps which is... Read more
