This is a comfortable aparthotel conveniently situated on the edge of the beach in Marbella. The hotel has a small reception and lounge on the ground floor with a rooftop swimming pool & restaurant which we did not use but I understand only serves food until 4pm. The rooms are simple with a double or twin beds and a separate kitchenette (complete with utensils & cutlery). The marble bathroom is a standard hotel layout but our room had a shower only - no bath. Went to Princessa playa hotel in April 2016. The hotel is right on the large promenade on the seafront just a few minutes walk to centre. Apartment was cleaned everyday and fresh towels etc. The cooking facilities are basic but adequate, 2 ring hob, microwave and toaster. They did supply a very small tea towel but i took my own anyway. Take a can opener and corkscrew the ones provided are ancient. The hotel does get parties in at the weekend and can become a little noisey my advice, get some ear ... Read more

Two couples. We had driven up from Tarifa after a long drive from Fes in Morocco. The hotel had been recommended by our friends. It was actually OK. Not splendid, but not crummy. The room is a bathroom, bed, kitchen area and very tiny balcony which overlooked another apartment block. As it was an overnight, that didn't matter. The bed was super-comfortable although twins. There was a mini kitchen, but no coffee or tea facilities provided. Everything was spotless. Downside: at recepti... Read more

The drive in from Benidorm was relatively easy. The hotel has a pull in area so you can park and check-in before having to find the parking. Parking was easily located just around the corner in a very large and easy to navigate underground garage. Discounted guest cost for parking was 16?/night with in and out access. We were fortunate to get a room with a beautiful view right on the beach. The hotel is in a great location directly on the beach promenade and across the street from old town. Ea... Read more

We have just returned from Princesa Playa Apts. We LOVE Marbella and the apart hotel is in a wonderful location - overlooking the beach, within very easy access of the Old Town, etc. Going to sleep and wakening in the morning to the sounds of the waves was a bonus! Walks along the promenade can go on for miles, along the Golden Mile in one direction and down to the fishing harbour in the other. The wife and myself arrived at around 12 noon on May 29 and were greeted by a very friendly Amigo on the reception. My wife and I stayed in the hotel October 16th to 23rd we stayed in room 301, when we checked in we asked for a room with a sea view but were informed that the hotel was full and had no sea view rooms available, however we stayed in a studio apartment room 301, the room was bright and very spacious, with all the required amenities. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, the housekeeping staff were polite and respectful and very good at their job. the pool was on the roof and there was plenty of ... Read more

we stayed for 4 nights at end of September. Hotel is located in a perfect place for visiting bars, restaurants and its right on the beach. The location is the best part of this hotel. Inside is a little dated. Reception booking was ok. The lift to the rooms is very small. 2 people and cases maximum. we had a room on the 4th floor and it was plain but clean. Shower room was excellent. the beds were ok, nothing to write home about. There is a small kitchen area which is fine if you want to heat so... Read more

The location of the hotel can't be more perfect they right in front of everything is at a walkable distance..supermarket just 2-3 mins away...Apartments are nice, spacious enough. Equipped with small kitchen and comes with a balcony...They also have car parking near bar which has a discounted rate for hotel guests...Considering the location it is a good apartment for the compared with other hotels..

Great hotel right on the front with all the resort amenities on the doorstep. Hard beds but hey, the position of the hotel, the friendly staff, the superb breakfast spread, the maid service to the room and and the sound of the waves breaking through the balcony doors made the holiday superb.

I recently stayed in PP as a friend recommended this hotel to me and my boyfriend because the location was great. We weren't disappointed and we were only a short walk from the bars and restaurants. The lady on reception (didn't get her name) was so lovely and helped us with any queries we had. You can book excursions from reception and I would recommend the trip to Gibraltar. My only criticism is that I found the bed to be slightly uncomfortable and I did wake up a few mornings with a bad ... Read more

A very pleasant hotel and great apartment. Arriving quite late we were greeted by reception in a courteous and professional manner. Reception area is clean, fresh and stylish. The building itself is located right on main seafront boulevard a matter of yards from the walkway across a narrow road. The hotel is constructed in a more or less circular form with the lifts in a central service area. Our room was on the west side of the building but still had a good sea view. Being there in Novemb... Read more
