I recently stayed here with a group of friends, and thought the hotel was amazing. We had a sea lovers room, so we looked out onto the beach which was lovely. We loved the beach service with the buttons that you press for service, so you didn't have to move all day! The rooftop bar is stunning, the views are amazing and the cocktails were good. Walked into orange square one evening which was really lovely, and we got a taxi into Puerto banus, which was only 15 minutes away. We will 100% going ... Read more

I came on a hen do for this hotel last week. The hotel is amazing, lovely pool and private beach with a dj on between 4-6. Food was lovely. The staff went out of their way one day to help me print a photo as a gift for my friend. The hotel was a slightly older crowd (i'd say between 40-60 years) or young couples. Perfect if you just want to relax. Our room was on the smaller side with no balcony, my friends room had a small balcony which did make the room feel much bigger, id advise asking for ... Read more

Great hotel! Wonderful breakfast, fabulous pool area, excellent and friendly service. DJ's at the pool from 3 in the afternoon. The pool and beach club loungers are plush. Rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable and curtains are the block out type. Look out for a special on this hotel if one feels like a "Marbs" break..... Was with my daughter of 18 and we were both content.

Having been here for (a tasty) lunch previously with my mum, I was keen to stay here and find out what it was like. So I stayed here for 3 nights in May. The room was a good size with great views, nice toiletries, comfy bed & big flat screen TV. I was easily able to work away from home with cracking wifi internet speeds (rare in these parts). Everything is ultra-modern, clean white decor and lots of boutique touches throughout the hotel. I love the DJ who plays every afternoon in the beach sect... Read more

We had requested months ago if we could have rooms close to one another but this wasn't possible. The food was amazing. The cocktails were fab. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. Couldn't do enough for you. Didn't have long to wait when we pressed the poolside buzzer. We were so lucky with the weather too. Beach area was great and it's... Read more

Just back from a wonderful week here. Really enjoyed our stay. Food was enjoyable and we found the staff to be very pleasant and friendly. Great location and the hotel was spotless. The atmosphere around the pool was very relaxing and we enjoyed the music around the pool, it gave the place a real relaxed atmosphere without being overbearing. They also keep to their word about not reserving the sun loungers, which I think is great. It can really spoil a holiday when you have to get up at the cr... Read more

As a group of 11, we decided to book this hotel because of its beach front access and its proximity to the local tapas restaurants. This hotel has a great beach setup. The snack bar offers great food and drinks. The rooftop bar offered an awesome environment to have a G&T overlooking the Mediterranean Sea The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a break in Marbella.

From the moment you enter the lovely reception, with its all cool interior in cream and bamboo and are greeted by the lovely check in staff, you just know this hotel is classy. The staff went out of their way to help us on reception and the d├ęcor of the hotel really makes it a fantastic place to stay. The rooftop bar has great views and is good for an evening drink. We used the spa and also had a massage on the beach. Look out for the deals during the week when you can get a free cocktail thrown in! During the afternoons there is usually a DJ or singer. This is our second stay at the hotel, pure luxury. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the food was superb , the location is great. My only gripe is that you cant leave your sunbed for more than 30 minutes or they take your possessions away, this meant that when we ate at the Amare restaurant it was a rush, they should extend it to 1 hour if you eat at the hotel restaurant, otherwise a fantastic hotel.

This is a beautiful resort with a great location. The maids were noisy and woke me up every morning. So we're the neighbors. The pool area and beach area are beautiful. The hotel is towel nazis when it comes to towels. A special ($20 of you lose it) card is given to you at check in and a warning with "rules" is recited to you when you receive a towel. The rooms were modern and clean and the whole hotel was 5 star. Good location and completely chilled out but still with lots to do. Would 100% stay again. Thank you so much for our favourite girls holiday to date!

The room was smaller than it seems when one sees the website of the hotel. Also the Internet connection didn't work. The sea view was not really a sea view, you had to turn your head to see the sea. Also we had to pay for everything, beach towels, parking, bicycles...But in general, staying there was nice, very polite and gentle the service and the people.

We have been here a few times in the current format and it's previous El Fuerte Miramar days. This is a very well laid out complex and with extremely helpful staff and great facilities. The best thing of all is the absence of kids - it makes this a much more relaxing holiday whether by the pool or the beach. Rooms are very well finished. Breakfasts are very good and well organised. If you can, go for the upgrades as the access to the lounge is a great bonus. Great views from Rooftop lounge as we... Read more

POSITIVES: - The hotel is a short walk to beautiful old town Marbella which has quaint touristy shops and fabulous restaurants serving excellent food. - It's also on the beach promenade, great for walking and full of bars and restaurants. - Amare's beach restaurant has really good food with a modern Spanish menu as well as international favourites served by friendly staff. - Fantastic buffet breakfast in the lovely 1st floor restaurant where you can eat inside or out overlooking the beach in ... This is a four star hotel which charged us five star rates and showed it. Facilities and services are spartan and wifi is unreliable, but it is the the constant, mindless lift-music, piped into every last crevice of the hotel from first thing in the morning and progressively increasing in volume until late at night, that destroys any hope of relaxation, anywhere; it made reading and sleeping impossible, and ruined any enjoyment of eating and drinking. To literally add insult to injury, we rec... Read more

This adults only hotel was beautiful and provided a lovely, relaxing pool and beach holiday. The room was attractive with a great view, described as "partial sea" but more like a full on sea view. We were 3 adults sharing a "comfort" (basic) room and found that there was adequate space for us, It was very clean and smart with a good sized bathroom and strong shower. The pool and bar areas were very attractive- sunbeds were comfortable and usually sufficient were available. The pool itself was n... Read more

The hotel is very well decorated. Modern and comfortable. The room was ok and clean with a nice view. But... It was a bit annoying with the 30 min sun beds policy. They have a guy watching the sun beds and taking the time and removing towels after 30 min if you are not there. I kind of understand why they do it, but it's still a little hassle when you are on holiday. Our biggest issue with this hotel was the poor service. A lot of the staff didn't seem very interested to smile and do the be... Read more

You cannot fault this hotel. It is amazing. It's in a great location, just a short walk to Marbella's old town and a 10-15 minute taxi ride to the more lively Puerto Ban├║s, depending on traffic of course. The breakfast is amazing: almost anything you want - waffles, pancakes, english breakfast, fresh fruit, every kind of bread imaginable. We were literally spoilt for choice!! We loved the buzzer next to the comfy sun loungers. Sometimes the servers would take a while to come over but who cares ... Read more

I stayed as part of a hen group, overall we had a good time together in Marbella but a lot of aspects were awful for a 4 star establishment. The pool area is great and we enjoyed lounging etc however it took 10 minutes from requesting service for food drinks from the loungers for someone to take orders, or the bell service was actually ignored. Me and my friend then went to the bar where staff were talking amongst themselves ignoring us twice for a few minutes.. They were not busy! We booked... Read more

I was lucky enough to stay in this hotel for 10 nights in late aug/early September. My g/f & I agreed it was one of the best hotels we had stayed in, and would 100% go back if we return to Marbella. - The service was amazing. The whole operation seemed very well organised & everyone we encountered (including the cleaners) were ultra friendly & professional. The buzzers next to the beds at the pool & beach club were a nice touch! - Pool & Beach club were both really good with music played throug... Read more

We stayed in this hotel 10 days. The best thing is its own beach. Another advantage is a good and tasty breakfast with a big choice of food. Unfortunately that's all. Room is ok. It's quite big and new with a good sea view but there are doubled rooms and if your room is a part of it be ready to hear every neighbors' step. We heard everything. One night it was impossible to fall asleep because our neighbors were speaking. They weren't shouting just speaking. And what is it when you have a loud n... Read more

We stayed in the hotel as a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The location is perfect, next to the beach but 5 minutes walk from the Old Town. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, we had a side sea view with balcony. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially on reception and down by the beach bar. The beach area has great sun loungers and bar area. To perfect end to the day is a drink in the roof top bar, stunning views of Marbella.

Stayed in a beautiful room with a sea view and great facilities. Rooftop bar has spectacular views and plenty of sumptuous white leather. Sun beds are sooooo comfortable and waiter service on the beach is appreciated. Fab cocktail menu and food to die for. Breakfast al fresco with sea views, tremendous choice and variety of hood quality food on offer with freshly made omelettes and pancakes. Short walk to the old town, which is amazing. Highly recommend.

Love this hotel! But why, oh why do they think it's ok to serve poolside cocktails in white plastic beakers? Totally understand about poolside safety i.e. no glass but come on! For goodness sake - a beautiful tequila sunrise or blue lagoon needs to be seen to be enjoyed. Haven't they heard of clear plastic glasses? They are charging 9.5 euros for a cocktail in something that resembles a toothbrush holder! Won't be buying any more cocktails here this week. So disappointing.

The hotel itself is VERY nice and the whole 'image' thing is bang on! However, for a hotel that seems to aspire at being 'trendy', there is basically nothing going on at the pool (which is small). I think there was some background music but it was so quiet that it was tricky to tell. There was the 'beach club' but this was a bit of a damp squib too and NOTHING happened until about 3 or 4pm but even then, it was kinda drab. We are coming back to Marbs next year but we have booked into a hotel in ... Read more

We stayed at the Amare Hotel from Aug 26- Sept 2. It's a beautiful hotel, very clean and rooms were spacious by European Standards. It is beachfront and along a beautiful Boardwalk. We rented bikes and rode easily from the hotel to Banus. The hotel is much quieter than we expected. It is branded as an adults only fun and trendy hotel. It's Instagram page leads you to believe there are a lot of parties on the beach. For the week we were there, we didn't see one DJ and the rooftop bar was closed b... Read more

Fantastic location right on the beach in Marbella. It has its own beach access as well as a salt water pool. Fantastic rooms. Mine had a large balcony with small clothes line. A number of bars and eating places to choose from. Food was very high quality. The breakfast was superb. They cater well for people with food allergies. Highly recommended!

My Daughter and I stayed here in June . The hotel was perfect , a fantastic spa break . The decor is elegant and stylish . Breakfast was amazing . The pool and beach area great , beds are not reserved which meant we never once had a problem getting a bed in the sun or shade . We walked into the old town most evenings which was approx 10 mins away . My only minor criticism was a lack of a full length mirror in the room . The bathroom was steamy and the Mirror useless so my 20 year old daughter re... Read more

This is a beautiful hotel. The pool beds are first class and they had a good system to ensure that people do not reserve a sunbed and then disappear for long periods of time - about time more hotels did this. Staff could not have been better and in general the facilities were first class. The only thing I could see that stops it getting a 5* Hotel rating is the lack of hanging space for clothes in the room. There is a abundance of shelf space for folded clothes but just a small space for h... Read more
