Great central location. 2 minutes walk from the train station, multiple bus stops around the area. 1 minute or shorter walk into the centre (Calle larios). Lots of shops, restaurants and bars all around and about 5. -7 minute to the port and beach. Staff were friendly and helped with our queries and we're happy to help with taxis etc. Lots to see and do within the area as well so can't get bored! Rooms were clean and big enough for 2 people to come and go as we pleased. Will definitely be going ... Read more

- nice clean rooms, quiet - limited breakfast selection, but still very good - excellent locality - 100m from city center, 15 min to walk to train station - there is a hotel bar, but you will get much better wine/beer in city center

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in May 2016. This was the first time we stayed in 2 star hotel, we normally stay in 3,4 and 5 stars. But I have to say this is a nice budget hotel, and offered more than what we expected from a 2 star hotel and really good value for money. The staff are nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, but when we entered our room we heard a really strong smell of air freshener, the smell was so strong that we had to open the windows for 30 min... Read more

The place is clean, well located near the center of town and it has very helpful stuff. Breackfast is ok but not amazing and it definitely miss vegetables. The staff was helpful when needed and the rooms are comfortable. The biggest problem with the place is access. It is difficult and confusing to artive by car.

this is not a tourist hotel. it is well located just over the dry river bed from the old town. the rooms are comfortable the bathrooms are adequate and if you want a buffet breakfast they can supply that for extra. we have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.

Good: Very clean modern hotel with a comfortable double bed a small single and a huge shower. The location is excellent, approx 10 minutes walk from the old town, bus terminal and attractions. Bad: When we arrived my wife â??dogâ??s nose Caoâ?? was unhappy with the bathroom aroma. We explained the problem to reception and when we returned we had a fragrant bathroom once again.

No personality or charm Location: perfect Room: comfortable, no mini fridge Bed: very good Bathroom: spacious and great shower Cleanliness: immaculately clean throughout Breakfast: seriously over priced for a tiny variety. You can get a bigger selection and better quality at half the price in any of the breakfast places a 5 minute walk away. Staff: did their job but no awards for friendliness or personalised attention. Overall a comfortable stay and decent value for money.

This hotel was well priced and a generally clean, modern hotel. It is close to the Malaga Centro Alameda train station. Unfortunately wifi was not offered for free. Our biggest complaint was that our room creaked horribly when someone walked around on the floor above us. Not sure if we had the maid's closet immediately above our 2nd floor room or just had active neighbors but someone walked around consistently on the floor above us at 4am whose footsteps we could clearly hear and whose foots... I've been to enough Spanish hotels now to realise that drains are a major headache for many. So is the case with this Ibis. In general it is a well run budget hotel with an above average breakfast but when the first thing that hits you when you enter your room is a strong smell of sewage from the drains then any positives melt away.

We checked in just before 12 noon, it was efficient and friendly. The room we were given was 327, overlooking the barranco. It was very hot when we left our luggage and we closed the curtains against the sun and changed the room temperature settings to the lowest possible. We went out for the rest of the day, returning early evening. The temperature in the room had not changed at all, it was very hot and stuffy. It was clear that the temperature controls were not working. We opened the window fo... Read more

Two little made our stay in Ibis malga centro perfect: The late breakfast- you can wake up late or go for sport early morning....still breakfast waits for you-unlike so many other hotels... The second thing- If you like a drink or coffeat at an reasonable hour- the bar is open 24 hoursâ??â??â?? The hotel is perfectly clean. Stuff is welcoming and helpful and we definitely recomend it.

Excellent hotel, cheap, cheerful, spotlessly clean, free wifi. A short walk to the local amenities, didn't have breakfast here as wanted to explore however 24 hour bar serving alcohol and coffees etc, Bit like a premier inn/travel lodge experience, when you are out and about keep a hold of your bags, had mine nicked whilst eating dinner, police pretty unhelpful, definitely would book this hotel again for next visit to Malaga

This hotel has a perfect location. The city centre is just a short walk away. You can also walk to the beach that is around 30-40 min. The local train station is 5 min away. The hotel is spotlessly clean and therefore has a very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are small but functional. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel on 4 different occasions now. It is very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and it has a brilliant shower. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. If you're looking for budget priced accommodation in a great location for exploring Malaga city, this is the place for you.

Even it's close to central area of Malaga, neighborhood is pretty bad. The hotel is way too fragrant and a biy humid at the same time. Personally I think it is too much. It's probably the worst Ibis that I've stayed.

This hotel is in an excellent location in walking distance to Malaga's historic centre but very quiet. It is clean, cheap and has wonderful showers and is air-conditioned. Highly recommended. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was not value for money: eat in town. There is no outside space.

Hotel is as basic as can be, but with a great location and very clean rooms. The location is the best this hotel can offer, easily walk to city center in few minutes. And I really mean few minutes not ten, not 9, only 3-4 minutes. Rooms are not as spacious as you expect, but they do their bussiness very well. My recommendations to those who need clean rooms, where there is everything you need, and suberb location.

Ibis Everything was fine. The hotelâ??s location is excellent. The service was perfect. The linen and other stuff were changed every day. Clean. Comfortable bed. Large room. Helpful and polite stuff. Wi-Fi was normal. In addition, there is a computer, next to the reception. It is necessary to take a free ticket and you get free 20 minutes of work, including usage of the printer. As for the wishes it is worth mentioning that we canâ??t understand the absence of a table in the room. The room is l... Read more

Spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff who were welcoming and friendly. Good value buffet breakfast and within walking distance of so many places to visit. Metro on doorstep. Restaurants a plenty. Would highly recommend booking this hotel, don't judge it by the 2 stars! If you want shopping, museums or parks stay here

There are a couple of Ibis hotels in Malaga. What I like about this one is that it is very close to a bus stop for the Airport bus and being just out of the centre is a little quieter. Standard Ibis rooms which to me are fine (with the exception of no safe) make them a good deal if you find the right price. Also has free w-fi which was very good, even in the bedrooms (and we were on the 3rd floor) We paid for breakfast on the days we stayed and had the odd drink in the bar which was very handing... The hotel is just at the middle of the city. Very easy to reach all city facilities and very easy to make round trip to airport. Room size is significant. Hotel is new. Staff was helpfull. Cleaning is Ok. Its a property that ı will use and recommend for travellers. But one thing disaappointed me again the absence of kettle and the tea bags as well.

Standard Ibis hotel, rooms were pretty clean. AC was working fine. Wifi was for free, parking for fee of 7euro. You have to pay for breakfast. There is small restaurant close to reception, where you ca ntake pretty cheap dinner, watch TV. You will get just in 5min to main square.

Ideal spot for visiting central Malaga. Hotel bedroom is really comfy and very clean. The hotel is very quiet and has a good bathroom, and one of the best beds i have slept in.An ideal place for a short break or for business people.

The only thing really great about this hotel was the location. It is a five minute walk from the train station Málaga Centro Alameda and is located another five minutes from all the shops and restaurants. The down side was how thin the walls were, and the complicated elevators. The bed was great and the price was right. The bar area is available 24 hours which was nice for a quick dinner.

Room 236 , defined as wheelchair accessible. The closet is too low, I had to remove the cushion from the wheelchair in order to get back on the wheelchair and still was difficult. The shower floor occupies nearly all the toilet, so when transferring from/to the closet the right front castor was down into the shower and the wheelchair unbalanced. Left grab handle unusable. No water sprayer near the closet. Bed a little too low and really small for two persons.

We stayed in the Ibis for one night. We had a family room which was absolutely perfect for us and our 11 year old son. Very impressed with the bedroom which was air conditioned. Fine big shower in the bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Safe facilities available in reception free of charge. Lovely buffet breakfast available too. The hotel is right in the centre of everything. Very impressed and would definitely stay again.

The ibis centro is within walking distance of the city center and the Cathedral. Lots of places to eat and shop. The bed was a Sweet Dream bed and it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Wish they had a minibar since it was in the high 30's each day.

I stayed here for a week for a course linked to my work. It was very conveniently situated for the old town ( just across the bridges), the bus and train services to the airport and beyond (between 5 and 10 minutes walk to train and bus stations) and was around 10 minutes walk from two large shopping malls in the commercial centre. My room was a decent size, kept very clean and had a good sized shower room with large corner shower. It only lacked a fridge to keep things cool, but the hotel sold... Read more

This hotel is in a good location. Its what you'd expect from an Ibis. Don't spend your money on food at the hotel. The market is 5 mins away and you can buy everything fresh. It's a clean hotel and the staff are helpful. Parking is a bit pricey at â?¬11 per day. Should be free to customers.

As you can infer from the title, we had a great experience at this hotel! The room was definitely huge (sth srange for an Ibis) and comfortable. Very friendly staff and close to the city centre (almost 5 minutes walking, but at a very low-fare). I would recommend it! PS: It is not very close to the sea, but this is a trade off you need to face in Malaga if you want not to pay lots of bucks

This hotel is a real gem, spacious lovely rooms with a fabulous king size bed. The bathroom is lovely and love the enormous shower, only downside is the rooms are like pods bolted together and the noise from people walking about above us on the laminate floor was annoying to say the least. But we stay here quite regularly as the value for money of this hotel with the features in the room makes up for the one minus fact.

I've been in Ibis hotel for 2 nights. This hotel is close to the city center and all touristic sites but my room was very noisy I was hearing my neighbours and people slapping the door to exit. Parking is 11â?¬ per day. I paid 85 & 105â?¬ during the first day of the feria without breakfast. Very expensive regarding the services.
