Great central location. 2 minutes walk from the train station, multiple bus stops around the area. 1 minute or shorter walk into the centre (Calle larios). Lots of shops, restaurants and bars all around and about 5. -7 minute to the port and beach. Staff were friendly and helped with our queries and we're happy to help with taxis etc. Lots to see and do within the area as well so can't get bored! Rooms were clean and big enough for 2 people to come and go as we pleased. Will definitely be going ... Read more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in May 2016. This was the first time we stayed in 2 star hotel, we normally stay in 3,4 and 5 stars. But I have to say this is a nice budget hotel, and offered more than what we expected from a 2 star hotel and really good value for money. The staff are nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, but when we entered our room we heard a really strong smell of air freshener, the smell was so strong that we had to open the windows for 30 min... Read more

The place is clean, well located near the center of town and it has very helpful stuff. Breackfast is ok but not amazing and it definitely miss vegetables. The staff was helpful when needed and the rooms are comfortable. The biggest problem with the place is access. It is difficult and confusing to artive by car.

Good: Very clean modern hotel with a comfortable double bed a small single and a huge shower. The location is excellent, approx 10 minutes walk from the old town, bus terminal and attractions. Bad: When we arrived my wife ‚??dog‚??s nose Cao‚?? was unhappy with the bathroom aroma. We explained the problem to reception and when we returned we had a fragrant bathroom once again.

No personality or charm Location: perfect Room: comfortable, no mini fridge Bed: very good Bathroom: spacious and great shower Cleanliness: immaculately clean throughout Breakfast: seriously over priced for a tiny variety. You can get a bigger selection and better quality at half the price in any of the breakfast places a 5 minute walk away. Staff: did their job but no awards for friendliness or personalised attention. Overall a comfortable stay and decent value for money.

This hotel was well priced and a generally clean, modern hotel. It is close to the Malaga Centro Alameda train station. Unfortunately wifi was not offered for free. Our biggest complaint was that our room creaked horribly when someone walked around on the floor above us. Not sure if we had the maid's closet immediately above our 2nd floor room or just had active neighbors but someone walked around consistently on the floor above us at 4am whose footsteps we could clearly hear and whose foots... I've been to enough Spanish hotels now to realise that drains are a major headache for many. So is the case with this Ibis. In general it is a well run budget hotel with an above average breakfast but when the first thing that hits you when you enter your room is a strong smell of sewage from the drains then any positives melt away.

We checked in just before 12 noon, it was efficient and friendly. The room we were given was 327, overlooking the barranco. It was very hot when we left our luggage and we closed the curtains against the sun and changed the room temperature settings to the lowest possible. We went out for the rest of the day, returning early evening. The temperature in the room had not changed at all, it was very hot and stuffy. The second thing- If you like a drink or coffeat at an reasonable hour- the bar is open 24 hours‚??‚??‚?? The hotel is perfectly clean. Stuff is welcoming and helpful and we definitely recomend it.

A short walk to the local amenities, didn't have breakfast here as wanted to explore however 24 hour bar serving alcohol and coffees etc, Bit like a premier inn/travel lodge experience, when you are out and about keep a hold of your bags, had mine nicked whilst eating dinner, police pretty unhelpful, definitely would book this hotel again for next visit to Malaga

Hotel is as basic as can be, but with a great location and very clean rooms. The location is the best this hotel can offer, easily walk to city center in few minutes. And I really mean few minutes not ten, not 9, only 3-4 minutes. Rooms are not as spacious as you expect, but they do their bussiness very well. My recommendations to those who need clean rooms, where there is everything you need, and suberb location.

There are a couple of Ibis hotels in Malaga. What I like about this one is that it is very close to a bus stop for the Airport bus and being just out of the centre is a little quieter. Standard Ibis rooms which to me are fine (with the exception of no safe) make them a good deal if you find the right price. Also has free w-fi which was very good, even in the bedrooms (and we were on the 3rd floor) We paid for breakfast on the days we stayed and had the odd drink in the bar which was very handing... The only thing really great about this hotel was the location. It is a five minute walk from the train station M√°laga Centro Alameda and is located another five minutes from all the shops and restaurants. The down side was how thin the walls were, and the complicated elevators. The bed was great and the price was right. The bar area is available 24 hours which was nice for a quick dinner.

Room 236 , defined as wheelchair accessible. The closet is too low, I had to remove the cushion from the wheelchair in order to get back on the wheelchair and still was difficult. The shower floor occupies nearly all the toilet, so when transferring from/to the closet the right front castor was down into the shower and the wheelchair unbalanced. Left grab handle unusable. No water sprayer near the closet. Bed a little too low and really small for two persons.

This hotel is a real gem, spacious lovely rooms with a fabulous king size bed. The bathroom is lovely and love the enormous shower, only downside is the rooms are like pods bolted together and the noise from people walking about above us on the laminate floor was annoying to say the least. But we stay here quite regularly as the value for money of this hotel with the features in the room makes up for the one minus fact.

Perfect hotel in Malaga for sightseeing with numerous good restaurants within easy walking distance. Nearby Malaga Central Railway Station Almeda provides easy access to airport. Good value Ibis hotel.

The situation of the hotel is good for trains, buses and tourist attractions. Located at the edge of the Old Town, it has a full range of facilities with both excellent and helpful staff. The rooms are typical of the brand i.e. contain all you need. They also have a good view of the passing green parrots.

I was surprised how good this hotel was. The reception staff all spoke good English and were very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was really good - and excellent value for money. The hotel was within easy walking distance of El Corte Ingles and the various museums and galleries in the centre of the city. A really good choice.

We stopped overnight on our way back to Malaga Airport. The hotel is central, good value, clean, got parking and easy to get to - what more can I say? Well, the staff were friendly and decidedly multilingual. The room was like all other Ibis rooms but was spacious and clean and the shower large and effective. The bar was lively due to a jazz duo playing ( not a regular occurrence) and it was a short walk into the city to find something to eat. The area is full of hotels and felt safe and ... Read more

This was the second time we have stopped at this hotel and the rooms remind me of a premier inn they are ok you tend to have a good nights sleep on the bed but if you don't like hard mattresses then you won't, I'm ok as I like hard mattresses as there good for my back. I was a little upset they had no kettle in the room but they do good coffee down stairs so not to much trouble. Breakfast is served for a long time so that's a plus but no hot breakfast only continental I asked about air con on... Read more

Very conveniently situated, it's near the rail terminus and only a few steps from the Old Town. The room was excellent, especially the superb shower-room. The bed was particularly comfortable. It would have been nice to have a small fridge, though. Our only negative was the soundproofing.....Rather noisy late into the evening (from the room above). Very efficient staff.

Good location for central Malaga near a train station for connecting to the airport or main train and bus station. Some noisy dogs barking in the river overflow next to the hotel. Good value for money and comfortable.

Central location, close to bus stops and train station. Easy walk to the sea front and marina, passing a fresh produce indoor market, shops, cafes and restaurants. Very clean, great bed, excellent staff, and a good breakfast with a wide choice.

This hotel is in a great location, a 10 minute walk from the station from which you are able to get direct trains to and from the airport, and just across the river from the old town. It offers great value decent size rooms and the staff are fantastic. However, there is an issue with noise from other rooms - if you have noisy neighbours you will hear everything they are saying. I would recommend a room on the top floor or the second floor with no rooms above you, this minimises the number of peo... Read more

Upon making the online reservation and during the online check-in I requested to reserve a parking space. On arrival there was no parking available. Would have decent to have informed me in advance. Reception staff couldn't care less. Room is tidy, location is good. Heating nor air conditioner works. Again no interest at all at the front office. Does not meet the high Accor standards in my humble opinion. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to friends or business partners. Attitude needs serious impro... Read more

We enjoyed our stay in Malaga, The hotel was perfect for our needs, it would have been good to have a kettle in the room but the 24 hour bar more than made up for the inconveniencea and the very friendly bar staff were always on hand to help, have a chat and make food and drinks.
