We spent here almost a week and we can recommend this place. Rooms are bigger than regular rooms and heating worked fine (January nights were quite cold). Breakfast was ok, rooms could have bigger tv with better channel selection, but you are not there for watching telly ;-). You must have a car but fortunately parking is free, driving these very steep and narrow roads is a an (funny for me) experience itself. Service and staff is very friendly and everything works better than many other places... Read more

We spent couple of days in Hotel Villa Guadalupe in Malaga. We had an amazing time, the hotel located in a very convenient location from city centre (15min by car) and literally you have the city under you. The hotel has nought spaces if you having car on you. We used the hotel bar couple of times and they were very friendly and caring people. Recommended hotel if you looking for a romantic time in Malaga.

I stayed in this hotel with my family and the staff did everything they could to arrange our needs. Restaurant has a great view of the city and food was good. Note that the hotel is located outside the city centre. Ask for a room with a nice view.

Eight of stayed here for three nights to celebrate the new year celebrations. This is a lovely hotel with welcoming staff, great food and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The hotel overlooks Malaga with stunning views from the restaurant. A taxi to the city centre is around â?¬10 or after a ten minute walk you can get a bus. Just a bit of constructive criticism. There was no complementary water in the rooms which is the norm in most hotels and no tea/coffee making facilities. Also the pillows we... Read more

I have always wanted to stay here but it has always seemed to be too much hassle to get to. We go to Malaga a few times a year en route to Seville or elsewhere so we have stayed in most of the city centre hotels at one point or another. On this occasion we were staying one night only on the way back from Seville with a late flight the next day and thought why not? It was a 15 minute taxi ride from the train station which wasn't that expensive. The check-in was very informal and as our room wasn'... Read more

We only stayed one night due to a late flight arrival. A GPS is helpful if you are driving there. The lift was broken during our stay, but the staff were helpful and carried our bags down to our room and up again when we left. The rooms were fine, we had a small balcony and a wonderful view over the city. The restaurant was ok for the evening meal, but the breakfast is nothing to get excited about.

The hotel has many good points but it is a good 20 minutes out of Malaga, therefore making a car totally necessary. Staff are friendly and polite. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Many people come for the restaurant as it is highly thought of. The food was good with an interesting menu. It was middle of the road pricing. Breakfast was typically continental and not to everyone's liking, certainly not my other half who took exception to the over cooked fried eggs. The main reason why we w... Read more

As many other reviewers stated this boutique hotel is within easy taxi drive ( 9-11 Euros ) from the busy city center. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean ad bright. We were offered an "upscale" room for an additional 10 Euros /night with a nice balcony. A great bargain. Rooms are spacious by European standards.Great views from the rooms on the modern Malaga and the coast and mountain ranges. Very quiet. Make sure you have a GPS if you drive to the hotel otherwise it will take you a long whi... Read more

This small boutique hotel, just 11 rooms, is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. We can highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay somewhere different and special while visiting Malaga. The hotel is situated high up on the hills overlooking the city, in a stately classic white villa. It is 15 minutes by car or taxi into the city centre. We had a superb welcome from one of the two brothers who runs the hotel. He made us feel very special and welcome and took the time to show us round... Read more

If you want to visit Malaga but don't want to stay in the loud busy city center but close enough to get there quickly by car or taxi , this is the place ! Sitting only 1.5 miles (3km) from city center perched on top of a hill in a residential area overlooking the city and water and a spectacular view of Malaga. The restaurant food and view was excellent. Actually the best food we had while in Malaga. The rooms (we had a terrace over looking the city) was basic but clean, with comfortable beds ,... Read more
