Bathroom was not kept clean. ThE shower had some sort of rubber Matt on the floor which was filthy. There was rotten wood and rotten ceilings. Amazing location but that is it. For the price I am sure you can find a much better room!

Stayed here for 3 nights as my husband had business in Madrid. The hotel is not that big but very conveniently situated on Grande Via, right by the shops/restaurants etc. Even though we had the windows open all night, it was not too noisy. We did not take breakfast and there is no restaurant in the hotel for dinner but we did have snacks and drinks in the bar which was pleasant. On the 7th floor there is a terrace with a bar which is lovely to sit out on and look over the city. It is a shame... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights in a superior room number 511. Room was a large semi circle with the king size bed in the middle. Fantastic views from the huge windows. Both 7th and 9th floor roof terraces were perfect for catching the last of the evening sun. All in all exactly what we were looking for.

This hotel is very well situated. 10 min walk from Plaza Mayor and other streets that are FULL of people on the weekends until the wee hours. There lots and lots of places to eat, drink and people watch well within the vicinity of this hotel. The hotel itself had a modern look with glass elevators. The staff was very friendly and took the time to show us around on the map provided. The room was very small by U.S standards but cozy and nicely decorated but you're paying for the location. I was on ... Read more

Stayed here for one night in February before my flight the next day. Most perfect location in Madrid right on the Gran Via, 5 star rooms and service to match. Yes it will not be your cheapest stay in Spain but you get what you pay for.. Perfect

In an area I would liken to Times Square in NYC. If you want to be near the best restaurants and sights, not the best location. I was in 3 rooms in 3 nights. First was extremely small right next to the elevator that rang loudly every time it arrived on the floor. Second was an interior room, larger, but filthy. Everything I touched the dust flew, furniture was sticky and there were no amenities in the bathroom. Third room was fine for size, had a great view, but had heavy velvet drapes tha... Read more

This hotel is super convenient and centrally located. It's clean and the staff is kind. The rooms are smaller than the average US hotel room, but it covered the basics. The breakfast is OK, not to die for, but it has traditional Spanish selections and healthy choices. What we liked the most was the location. It's about 20 mins walking distance to Museo Del Prado, Parque Del Buen Retiro, Plaza de Cibeles, etc. It's also very close to Plaza Del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Palacio Real. There's so much t... Nice and modern. The bar on the terrasse has a very nice view and some good cocktails. The staff is very kind and my room on the 4th floor pretty big. Only inconvenient:i asked for a room not on the main street and I got one just in front of a giant enlighted commercial sign (giant screen) that stays on all night long ( local time square style I guess)

We arrived after 11PM, and our room facing Grand Via (as requested) was waiting, It was on the second floor, but the view was great and the windows sound proof. We stayed for 6 nights and slept very well, on a big and comfortable double bed. The room was clean and very well amended. Strange lights system but we got used to it quickly. One complaint - the flat TV was excellent, but only 3 English speaking news channels, everything else including movies in Spanish or German. Come on !!! Front de... Read more

This hotel is great for location to all sightseeing facilities but pay the extra and get an upgraded room with Grand Via view because the standard rooms are basic with poor views. I initially booked over the phone with Hotels.com to make this provision who guaranteed this but it didn't materialise.

Something is wrong with this hotel. Quality of rooms is just terrible. Maybe I was just unlucky but my room was no relax. It had a noisy air condition, which had only two state: freezing cold or be switched off. Unfortunately only way to switch off this freezing machine is take out hotel card means lights will not work. If I also count non working deposit box in room. All I can say avoid! This is two star hotel not hotel where you can enjoy stay. Very disappointed. It was not worth money - this ... Read more

Digital satellite TV functionality was stated in the internet page and that data impacted the decision to choose this room. However, there was no digital satellite TV functionality available in the room despite our request and no compensation or even reason was offered. Also one of the windows was "leaking" noise from the street into the room and especially during the night somebody arranged a concert just outside the hotel, it was really impossible to have a sleep in the room.

We stayed for 3days in Vincci Capitol in a deluxe room. The view&location of the room and hotel was very good but its not worth the money because firstly, room service foods are so so bad. Secondly there is no rooftop bar! There were many adverts about the terrace bar so we went but there was absolutely "nothing". Also The bathroom's hygiene was not good for me and the wifi wasnt good as well they make you to buy it... We paid so much for this hotel and it was just a disappointing.

Perfect location, great service. Beautiful rooms. I am a college student. I was traveling abroad and stayed here with my girlfriend. I got a king bed room with a Jacuzzi. The hotel is very close to one of the biggest clubs in Madrid. Within walking distance to great bars restaurants and more. Hotel bar also has great drinks.

Opposite the metro station great for shopping and sight seeing, the hop on hop off bus stop is opposite the hotel. The room was big and very clean . friendly helpful, staff . Breakfast was not that great, but lots of restaurants around for good meals.

The service, standard of the rooms and overall comfort at the hotel was amazing. The staff were helpful and obliging, I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. The room was beautifully fitted and special lighting control was both fun and useful. That bathroom was both nicely fitted and practical with plenty of soft, clean towels provided.

This hotel is close to all restaurants and a few steps away from Gran Via, which is the busiest square in Madrid. Very close to the gran via metro station. It is also close to other stations like Sol, Callao, Plaza de Espana. The only thing I can fault them on is that their is no kettle in the room. The mini bar is very over priced but fortunately in the next street there is a small cafe that sells bottled water, cold drinks and juices so we ended up buying their and just keeping it in our fridg...
