Good solution if you are staying in Madrid and you don't mind take the metro. It's near the station Alsacia, in 15 minutes you can easyly reach the city centre. Nearby there is a shopping mall but nevertheless the neighborhood is quite calm and the traffic is not heavy. The hotel itself is very comfortable and the rooms are clean with a quite large bathroom (thank god they have bidet!). We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast:usually in the hotels you don't find anything really good but th... Read more

Good: The rooms are really spacious and have large comfortable beds that are made up each day.The hotel is looking a little tired now but it is still very clean and the staff are extremely helpful. The Metro station is just a 2 minute walk away and thereâ??s a local bus E2 that will get you to the city. Thereâ??s a large Carrefour close by and several reasonably priced restaurants in the shopping mall or some local bars serving food all walking distance from the hotel. Bad: Good selection of TV ... Stayed at the Silken Torre Garden hotel last weekend. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. The beds and duvets were excellent. An added bonus is the Metro is about 200 yards away and takes about 16 minutes to get into central Madrid. Enjoy

Stayed here for 3 Nights in May and were so surprised at how nice it was for the price we paid! 100m from a metro station and supermarket. The metro was around 2euros to get to the centre and took around 15 minutes to get to the main metro stop 'Sol'. The staff spoke good english and were very helpful. We used the safe in the room whilst we were out each day and it was just a 10euro deposit. Everything was lovely, can't comment on breakfast as we were room only. We would definitely stay again!

The location is good, very near a metro station, and in a street with plenty of places to (free) parking. We only disliked the fact of the sound isolation was very bad: We stay in a room on the fifth floor and, even so, we eared noise from the street all night long.

Stayed there as a couple a week back for 3 nights. the pros would be :Spacious rooms, clean and comfortable beds, located very close to the metro station. The cons: The day we arrived, it was particularly hot and we realized the Air conditioning inside the room was hardly effective. there was just a regulator to reduce or increase the temperature and not a individual, modern AC. We could hardly sleep since it was v stuffy. When we checked with the reception the next day, we were told that AC in... Read more

Hotel is really close to the metro station and easy access to the central. I travelled on my own and I had a very spacious room with double bed. Sheets were clean, room was very nice and tidy. Hotel staff is also very helpful.. I can highly recommend it to everyone.

The Hotel Silkens Torre Gardens was a lovely comfortable hotel to stay in. Although in the suburbs it is close to a Metro stop (one of the reasons we chose it). The location made travelling around Madrid really easy for us. Especially with a daily tourist pass which costs 8euro. It's about a 50 minute journey by train from the airport. The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly. Free wi-fi was available throughout the hotel. Breakfast was included - buffet style with a good selec... Read more

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel on our stay in Madrid. Let's start with an overview of the hotel. This 3 star Silken hotel is situated in a high rise residential area on the outskirts of Madrid. There is no outside space, there is a terrace but it was not in use for hotel guests when we were staying. The rooms are of a good size with aire conditioning and en suite bathrooms, shower gel and shampoo were provided and the was a hairdryer in the bathroom. We were with a group and had dinner provide... Read more

Large rooms, complete with fridge, safe box, flat TV, amenities at the spacious bathroom, comfy beds and silence at night to sleep well. Breakfast with hot choices (eggs, sausage), fruits, gazpacho and a good variety of hams and cheeses. Although not in the center of Madrid, it's just a 150 meters of the Alsacia metro station (direct route to Puerta del Sol station after nine stops).and 250 meters from one commercial center with a Carrefour market inside. No to mention the personnel at the rece... Read more

Very good, clean , tidy and quiet, spacious rooms.BUT when I wanted to refresh myself with the the latest news, I could NOT find on the TV any English , French or Arabic channels . All the 70 channels stored are in spanish. That is VERY BAD as we are with children who want to watch cartoons.

Located in the busy suburbs near to the metro (convenient) and large supermarket mall. Park your car on the street free outside as the cost to park at the hotel is steep. A small reception with staff that were indifferent to your needs and a lift to the rooms. The room was spacious but basic, bland and slightly worn. It had two windows overlooking the side street. It was clean, quiet and quite. There was free strong WiFi but no coffee or tea. The bed had one sheet on it but the sleep quality wa... Read more

Great location, close to the transport and supermarket, great staff at reception. BUT i've left a piece of clothing there (a nice expensive floral dress) and when i've tried calling to find out whether they have found it so i could organise a DHL or something they have stated they have never found anything. This is quite disappointing. It's just a piece of clothing but you guys need to sort out your cleaning staff, can be quite damaging for your reputation!

It was a gem of a find. Very highly recommended, located in a quiet Madrid neighborhood, a stone's throw from the Metro. Very affordable, and very spacious for an EU hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast is substantial. I will definitely stay there again.

We found this hotel to be a convenient five minute walk to the metro and there was a selection of cafes/restaurants in the surrounding area as well as a large shopping mall and supermarket within a five to ten minute walk. The staff were friendly although English was not their strong point (to be fair, neither was my Spanish, but we managed to get by OK). The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a shower over the bath. The room was let down a bit by some mainten... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights for a city break, nice hotel in a good location. Car parking was a little expensive (â?¬11 per day) but was worth it as the car was in an underground car park so was safe! You don't really need a car in Madrid though as the transport system (Metro & Bus) are excellent and reasonably priced. The room was very clean and huge! Bed was a little hard for me but hubby loved it. We stayed on the 9th floor but there was plenty of lifts so no issues there. The breakfast was nice and v... Read more

Excellent location next to metro. Nice cheap breakfast spot next door. Extremely reasonable prices for a capital city. Very helpful staff. Nice big rooms. Really couldn't fault it and exactly what I would recommend if you would like to visit the beautiful city of Madrid and keep your money for enjoying the many city sites. Would definitely use again if we were to return to Madrid.

We've been here for 5 nights and it's great. 5 minutes from the Metro link into the city centre nd only â?¬2 it takes around 15 minutes then you're in easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The room is large and very comfortable clean linen every day, helpful staff. We used the city tour buses to get our bearings then went on our own via the Metro to places we wanted to revisit. Lots of places to eat and drink. The weekend is extremely busy. All in all an enjoyable city break

Hotel is a bit old..but clean and decently maintained.. Rooms are big. They also have covered car parking which is paid but the street next to hotel also has free parking. You can choose what you like. Somehow the AC was not working..or some other issues..but weather was nice..we just opened the window.. There is no room service. But staff at reception is helpful & friendly. They restaurant at the lobby is decent and they do help you with your untimely hunger needs!! Metro station is 2-4mins ... Read more
