The hotel is price -quality a very good hotel . The breakfast was very good ,huge choice of fruit ,cookies ,but the eggs can be warmer .Very good coffee also . The service at the breakfast ,rest and bar in the lobby are excellent . The beds are too hard for me and i think the mattresses in 309 where too old . For the rest ,the rooms are beautiful and clean . The only thing ,the carpets in the hallways at 3th etage are totally damaged an has to be renewed because the first look when you go to yo... I'm not sure where some of these 4 and 5 stars are coming from. Are you people sure you stayed at the Silken Puerta Madrid and not the property because this place is the worst! I stayed here for 3 days and regretted every single day of my stay. Users are commenting that this place isn't tourist friendly...that is incorrect because this place isn't friendly AT ALLA whether you're a tourist, on a business trip, passing by or etc. The front desk staff are rude and act as if asking a simple questio... Nice and confortable hotel. Far from the touristic areas what for me it is a deal. The room is spacious and the bathroom has a nice bathtub. It is near from the airport and there is shuttle to drive you there.

Each room is decorated in another way, which is quite impressive. But the best thing of this hotel is the roof terrace, with an amazing view over the city. Not very central located, but good connections .

Both myself and travelling companion had rooms that had been smoked in. Whilst an effort had been made to clean this, the smell was omnipresent. The room itself was "foxed", the Airconditioning did not work, and the bed was uncomfortable. The hotel itself appears a bit shabby. The lobby area is reminiscent of a business unit reception, with a small, afterthought bar added. In the lobby area, there is evidence of cracked Terrazzo and worn carpeting. Breakfast was very average, with machine cof... Read more

This hotel is very good- would highly recommend it if you have a meeting at one of the nearby offices. It's about 6km from the airport and they run regular free transfers to and from Barajas. Unfortunately the service stops at 8.30pm so arriving late is a 25-30 Euro cab ride. Got everything you need including a gym/ spa. Not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity - it's right by a main road and in an area of banks and offices so maybe not good from a tourist perspective however it was perfect for... Read more

I booked this hotel for the weekend for my boyfriends birthday. We had a wonderful time and couldn't ask for a better hotel. Yes the hotel is a little out of the centre but we didn't find this a problem at all. There is a metro only a 15min walk away, a bus stop just around the corner, at the cost of â?¬1.50 to the centre and a taxi which costs around â?¬15 The breakfast was lovely, the room was clean, towels changed everyday. We would stay here again, if we return to Madrid. Special shout... Read more

This is more of a business hotel, very comfortable but about 20 mins from the city. You need to get a taxi into the city which costs about 15 euros or the metro which is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel and about 12 stops. Also they could do with tea and coffee facilities in the room.
