It would be the only advice I have, not complaint but advice. Up on the 4th floor when you turn on the shower the water is cold and stays cold for quite a while. Long enough for some people to panic and ring reception. But leave it for a while and you will get a piping hot shower. What a great location and when you check in you are warned that the WIFI is not so great in the rooms although we had no problems. Breakfast .. Well the Spanish Omelette is superb as are the staff up there on the... Read more

Great location within walking distance of many attractions. The room was a decent size and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice touches with free bike rentals and free coffee in the evening. I thought it was a good value.

Great location - very central Quite a lot of street noise - could be due to location of particular room Great service from the reception staff Room was far too small (room 416) and could do with some renovation Very clean and room was cleaned daily

This hotel is in ideal place to search Madrid. Itâ??s not far from main tourist attractions, Gran Via, close to shops. Metro station entrance is about 100 meters from the hotel. Good breakfast, cleanness of the room , friendly staff. Iâ??d like to thank receptionist Nataly for her good work and kindness. Optimal quality-price ratio.

The hotel I see situated right at the heart of the city, close to the busy Plaza del Sol. Everything you might need is right around the block! The staff was very friendly and happy to answer all of our question about Madrid. The room even if it was not spacious, it was always clean and cosy. Breakfast was delicious, the lady there was extra friendly every morning! We really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is located two blocks from Puerta del Sol and about 5 minute walk from Plaza Callao. It is an old building, recently renovated with big rooms, big bathrooms and I had a terrace that looked out to Calle del Carmen. The reception staff were extremely nice and check in was easy. There is a safe in the room that requires you to swipe your credit card in to use (no charge). The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows are provided. Their breakfast is very generous and even included th... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the Petit Palace Londres in October 2016 for a weekend break. It was a good location for seeing the sights of Madrid but a little noisy at night as it seems this part of Madrid never sleeps! The room was small but clean, one oddity was the pillows which was a single long pillow across the double bed and then just one normal pillow. The breakfast room was on the 5th floor and was a lovely bright room with an excellent choice of breakfast items - enough to satisfy just a... Read more

This hotel is in a central location, close to Plaza del Sol and the Sol Metro. We were able to walk virtually everywhere we wanted to visit. Madrid is a very lively city; this area is particularly busy, right until the early hours of the morning. If you are a light sleeper, you will be aware of outdoor noise until 3 or 4 in the morning. On arrival, we were informed that the room we had booked was very small with a 130cm bed and an interior view. As my husband is 6'2" and I am claustrophobic we ... Read more
