The hotel is about a 20-30 min walk to Plaza Mayor/Sol. It is a 30 Euro cab ride from the Airport to the hotel. The room is average with free wifi. Breakfast, although good, was not included in the room rate which was unfortunate.

Next to the Metro (200m) Superior Room to the busy main street. With closed Window its ok for sleeping! Clean room with big bed (confortable matress). We got an free upgrade to a superior class room. Receptionist's (especially Boyana) for check in, check out and any questions very kind and uncomplicated (gave us good recommendation for Restaurants nearby) !!! Breakfast enough selection. Concerning the location of the hotel, room prices are normal for Madrid.

Again , when confronted with unusual requests , receptionnist acted extremely professionnal. Hotel is quite central , very close to the center and to Monclo , metro station is near, there are cafes and restaurants near - but in a quiet place.

- this hotel is very well located, close to San Bernardo subway station. From that point, you can access all attractions in Madrid; - there are nice places where you can have the typical Spanish breakfast (tostadas con tomate y jamón ibérico) around the hotel. In the evening, you can stop and have your "tapas" at the same places, safe and close to the hotel; - staff people (as always in NH Hotels) are very kind and polite.

I've been here with a friend of mine. We were in Madrid to have a citytrip, so we've only been in our hotel to have some rest and to eat breakfast. The hotel was very clean and the staff was always very kind. Not all contributors spoke English fluently, but they've all tried their best to help us. On the first day of our stay we were lucky to enter our room earlier then expected. On the last day of your visit you can leave your luggage in a closed room. The breakfast is very extensive. I'm sure ... Read more

Nice hotel at a reasonable price for a large city. Very quiet even though on a Main Street and good breakfast as well as very helpful staff. Rooms quite spacious although bathroom a bit small. Location quite good with some nice eateries close by. Ask hotel staff for recommendations as some of these are hidden in side streets.

Nice and fresh hotel at walking distance from city center. The hotel staff was friendly. The only negative thing with the room was the very hard matresses and bad blanket. The breakfast is not worth 12? since it's nothing special and it's cheep to eat breakfast at cafes near by.

Located within walking distance of Madrid Central at San Bernardo Metro Stop. Busy street and room face the street can be noisy. The beds are on wheels and the floor is wood, so the beds would move and separate. Price is great for the location.

Stayed in the Leonardo for 3 nights whilst visiting Madrid. Location is excellent if you want to be minutes away from the centre but in a less touristy area. Friendly staff on arrival, checking in was simple and our room (612) was spacious with a good bathroom and comfy bed. There was a great choice for breakfast incl. cereal, fruit, meats, bread and pastries. Hotel is only a 3 minute walk to San Bernardo metro station where you can catch lines 2 and 4 to other parts of the city including Opera... Read more

The room was very shabby and the decor outdated -a very, very large crack in the sink surround, missing/crudely applied sealant, missing grout to wall tiles and a tatty ceiling tile which drooped clearly after a plumbing leak -and a door frame badly rotted due to water ingress. Lobby staff were not helpful -not even a map of Madrid to show, let alone give to a visitor. Long black hairs (not mine) on a hand towel and in the sink. The hairdryer cut out after 30 seconds. The breakfast was fine, and... Read more
