Excellent location right on Gran Via, and just a few steps from Plaza del Sol or, on the other side, Barrio Chueca. When we took a bus tour to Toledo, the pick-up point was just across the street. Where we stayed, the bathroom was tiny, but the bedroom spacious & furnished elegantly and comfortably. I don't know how long Praktik Metropol has been up, but though it's in an old building with an old elevator, all interiors & furnishing feel reassuringly new. The fun decor throughout the hotel a... Easy to find hotell in the heart of madrid! In walking distance to all the big atractions. Nice and clean rooms with a big balcony on the top, for all to use! The staff was really friendly and the reception is a really cool place to relax.

The room was nice and tidy but very tight. Nice enough bathroom though. The view from the room was a wall of another building, you couldn't even see the sky. The view from the rooftop balcony on the other hand was great. Breakfast wasn't included but at a reasonable price you can get it in the restaurant on the ground floor. Very nicely located in the center of Madrid, close to almost everything.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was just about perfect. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the reception/lounge area. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better. You are within walking distance (500 m to 2 km) to most of the attractions/sights/museums etc. and the metro station is just outside the hotel (30m). Even though our room was very quiet, Montera street is a very busy street and can get quite noisy at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel for ... Read more

It is a good place to stay in madrid if you don't care for privacy, if you don't mind for the bad mattress, if you don't mind for the lack of any surface in the room to put something on, if you can sleep with the sunlight going straight into your eyes. The thick curtains don't have the width to cover all the portch door. The washbasin is in the bedroom so any one can watch you washing your teeth and this is thougth to be designers originality. The best originality is that when you go to the toil... Read more

My husband and I love uniqeuly designed boutique hotels and we were just blown away by this hotel. Every detail is thought through in this gorgeous rustic design. Rooms are quaint and comfortable with really nice furniture and light fixtures. Although there was construction outside or window, we had a view on a main square. Location is not just close to the center you are literally in the middle of it all which you can see from the absolutely stunning views from their rooftop terrace. Staff is ... Read more

Great value hotel, rooms are more than good, and the rooftop is a huge plus...speacially during summer. It has everything needed for sunbathing and a marvelous 360º view of Madrid. The only cons is the location, the Gran Via, even if is central is kind of dangerous.

Very comfortable bad, great location (closes to everything! Didn't even used the public transportation!), comfortably designed and wonderful staff. Coffee/tea to go 24/7 and the top terrace is an amazing bonus (bring a bottle of wine or beer and enjoy the sunset)

Loved staying here. Was a very central hotel. The first room we got was a little small but the next day we got a really nice room with all the facilities. De lobby is very nice and they have a terrace overlooking the whole city. Very good service and nice people.
