My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was just about perfect. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the reception/lounge area. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better. You are within walking distance (500 m to 2 km) to most of the attractions/sights/museums etc. and the metro station is just outside the hotel (30m). Even though our room was very quiet, Montera street is a very busy street and can get quite noisy at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel for ... Read more

It is a good place to stay in madrid if you don't care for privacy, if you don't mind for the bad mattress, if you don't mind for the lack of any surface in the room to put something on, if you can sleep with the sunlight going straight into your eyes. The thick curtains don't have the width to cover all the portch door. The washbasin is in the bedroom so any one can watch you washing your teeth and this is thougth to be designers originality. The best originality is that when you go to the toil... Read more

My husband and I love uniqeuly designed boutique hotels and we were just blown away by this hotel. Every detail is thought through in this gorgeous rustic design. Rooms are quaint and comfortable with really nice furniture and light fixtures. Although there was construction outside or window, we had a view on a main square. Location is not just close to the center you are literally in the middle of it all which you can see from the absolutely stunning views from their rooftop terrace. Staff is ... Read more

Great value hotel, rooms are more than good, and the rooftop is a huge plus...speacially during summer. It has everything needed for sunbathing and a marvelous 360º view of Madrid. The only cons is the location, the Gran Via, even if is central is kind of dangerous.

Very comfortable bad, great location (closes to everything! Didn't even used the public transportation!), comfortably designed and wonderful staff. Coffee/tea to go 24/7 and the top terrace is an amazing bonus (bring a bottle of wine or beer and enjoy the sunset)

Loved staying here. Was a very central hotel. The first room we got was a little small but the next day we got a really nice room with all the facilities. De lobby is very nice and they have a terrace overlooking the whole city. Very good service and nice people.

This hotel shares the building with other hotels and a hostel, don't let that put you off as the rooms are nice, clean and the beds are comfortable with a fantastic roof top terrace. As there is no bar you can take your own drinks up to the terrace. The location of the hotel is great for sightseeing and again don't be put off by the ladies of the night on the street outside as they are there in the day too and it's the equivalent of Buchanan St in Glasgow nobody seems to bother. Hotel is probabl... Read more

To find this place, head to the doorway between Tapa Tapa (restaurant) and McDonald. Go to the back and take the elevator to the 1st floor where the reception is located. The reception area is a cool spot with comfortable chairs, tables to work on and a coffee machine. The lady at the front desk was friendly when we were checking in. On the 9th floor you have access to the terrace. Nice place to lounge and relax with a good view of the city. Our room was located on the 3rd floor facing the busy... Read more

Good location for shopping or sightseeing. Great hotel very arty decor. Friendly helpful staff. Internet was a pain. The hotel was having exterior work done so there was a little banging going on and No view. But we were warned and given a lovely little gift.

Quirky hotel in the centre of Madrid. It was undergoing some exterior renovations which didn't affect us at all. The room had a double bed and bathroom and a single bed and another bathroom. The best feature of the hotel was its terrace on the roof which gave a great view of the city only spoils slightly by the scaffolding. What a great place to relax after a day in the city - with a long cool drink!!!! Not a fancy hotel but comfortable bed, clean room, central location AND the roof terrace mak... Read more
