We stayed in Alcala Torre from a Tuesday - Sunday and totally we were very satisfied with staying, but if you are staying for more days we will recommend to upgrade to bigger room because we felt the cheapest room was very small, except the baathrom witch all was big and delicious. Altso the bed was very comfortable. The rooms and the hotel generally seems very clean and it vas a positive experience. The breakfast was tasty and delicious. The hotel's location in the center of the city was very c... Read more

My family and I stayed at your hotel a few weeks and what an experience it was. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were amazed with the welcome we received from the staff. They were friendly, warm and extremely helpful dealing with us and our questions on the city of Madrid. During our stay, my mobile phone was stolen from me while having dinner at the restaurant across the street. I was extremely upset as it held many photos of a recent important family event. Whilst I had a terrible ... Read more

This hotel has exactly what you need - no more, no less. It's location is minutes from Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, and walkable to the main museums. We never waited more than 30 seconds for a taxi outside. The rooms are modern, fairly spacious, comfortable beds, excellently appointed bathroom. Breakfast on the roof terrace catered for every taste. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the desk is manned 24 hours a day.

My boyfriend booked this six months in advance as a surprise birthday present for me in January. I was so pleasantly surprised as we had used Bookings.com, but the location was super perfect right adjacent to Sevilla station and a two minute walk from Sol with various lovely restaurants and a convenient Starbucks. The breakfast was divine, for ?10 it was all you could eat continental and cooked with a variety of choice. The beds were very comfortable and large and the bathroom was very modern ... Read more

We received an upgrade to the 12th floor penthouse. Beautiful view, balcony all around, great for a family, very comfortable, only room on the floor ! Great experience..Wonderful location close to everything. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but plenty of cafes close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful . Would definitely stay here again.

The Location is excelent, it's in the middle of all the places were you want to go shoping, eat, city tours, etc. The room was ok and the service excelent. They have a nice breakfast and the food is completly natural, even the orange juice is taken in the moment. And of course they have very good tecnology, wi fi, Tablet free if you need it, mobile internet for a very good price, etc.

A comfortable hotel at the perfect location and walking distance to the city center. Comfortable stay and would recommend to stay as high as possible in the tower to catch a good glimpse of the city. Although the rooms are small and AC had some issue which was rectified immediately. Service is fantastic too, Breakfast is really healthy and very sumptuous.

Having travelled and spending time in over 400 hotels around the world, Madrid was disappointing. The ratings says 4 stars but it's a 2 star at best. It's more or a inner city travel lodge than a hotel. If you do end up staying then never stay on first floor. No matter what as it use to be where the storage and laundry area is, but they made it smaller and added several rooms which they try to rent. Every morning at around 6pm they start work and the corridor is full of cages with laundry and... Read more

The best part of the hotel is the location. I came to Madrid for two days and had almost everything walking distance. The rooms are also very comfortable, silent and clean. Overall a very nice experience, but dont expect a real luxury hotel.

The location of the hotel was ideal. Walking distance to Sol but far enough where it's too loud in the evening. The front desk was also very helpful and friendly, giving us a map and circling all the museums nearby. The lobby has free water and coffee which is great. You can also rent out bikes to explore the city with. I wanted to rate the hotel higher but I had some money stolen from my wallet after housekeeping visited the room. I went upstairs for breakfast and came back to my room about... Read more

The staff, hotel, location are all excellent. We stayed for four nights/ five days and had a great time. We had a lovely room on the 11th floor (1102), with a partial view, good bathroom and plenty space. I found the staff extra friendly, the rooms bigger than average, the beds lovely and comfortable, the space to store things prore than big enough, a massive 50 inch TV. Then there was the Cava and chocolates for my wifes birthday, the whole experience was good. Five, ten minutes to key Madrid s... Read more

The staff at Alcala Torre were incredibly kind to me while I was a guest. I checked in well before the official check-in time because thankfully my room was ready. Breakfast was excellent the following morning, and there was coffee and other drinks in the lobby, which was great. Location is ideal--a minute from Puerto del Sol and the subway, a short walk from all the main plazas. What struck me most, however, was that everyone at reception was patient with my questions about Madrid, maps, and ge... Read more

I was initially shocked at how small the hotel was but it didn't take long for it to reveal it's true value. The room I got was small (around 38 sqm) but works for a couple. The bathroom was roomy and took up about half the entire room. Style is modern and clean. I was surprised that toothbrushes were not part of the amenities. However, the front desk was kind enough to provide me one when I asked. Extra pillows and blankets were standard and were already in the closets when needed. The fo... Read more

We spent two nights here at the end of a month long camping tour of Spain and Portugal and must say it was a highlight. Excellent location and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room on the 7th floor was lovely, clean, spacious and quiet considering the hustle and bustle of the city below. The breakfast was abundant and tasty. Would also recommend the free walking tour that is advertised at reception. A great way to get a feel for this lovely city. Wish we had a more time but would not ... Read more

Recently stayed at this hotel and had fantastic time. The hotel is in an excellent location, 5 mins walk to Puerto del Sol and all the surrounding restaurants and tapas bars but what makes this hotel special is the staff. I have never met a more professional, friendly and well informed reception staff than I did here. They were brilliant, I cannot praise them enough and they are a credit to this hotel. The breakfast was nice, with fresh bread, pastries, hot items like boiled eggs and scrambled... Read more

This is a great hotel for a visit to Madrid, it is located in a strategical place, the Alcala tower, to visit the city near the Gran Via, Sol, Bellas Artes, less than 50 meters from a metro stop . The service is very good the staff is polite and solicitous, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide range of options for all tastes enjoying a wonderful view of madrid from the restaurant.
