The hotel staff was unprofessional. The room wasn't clean bed linen old and dirty, the walls are very tin you could hear the guest from next door snoring, talking and using bathroom. The television is from the 70s didn't know those tv still around. It is only ten mins from the airport and they provide free airport shuttle but the driver not pleasant. I would not recommend no one for this hotel. The hotel is old and need improvement.

Right from the start we had poor service from the hotel from arriving at the airport till the moment we left, we phoned from the airport when we arrived to be told we was in the wrong area for pick up, after 20 minutes of walking round the airport I honed again and was told where I was at the begging was the correct area, I speak fluent Spanish so was not a language mistake, arrived at hotel given our rooms all good, we then went to the bar area and ordered 4 drinks 4 sandwich mixtos and 2 bottl... The staff was helpful, and the common facilities seem ok. The breakfast is fair for the price. However the rooms are quite run down. The bed covers looked faded if not dirty. The carpets were full of stains, and the night was noisy. You could hear some rooms TV loud at 3AM.

Quiet location with greenery, very good services and nice behaviour of the personnel. Spacious room with two queen size beds, a big closet with a small fridge inside. The bath is quite big with all necessary facilities. Very good and divers breakfast. Unfortunately the carpet, furniture and decorations are obsolete.

We arrived on Thursday morning for a two night sightseeing stay. I have to say this is a lovely hotel for the price. Breakfast is fine continental but you won't go hungry. Front desk staff very friendly. Cleaning staff also very friendly. We didn't take advantage of shuttle bus on arrival in madrid as we were tired and we just wanted to get to the hotel. Big mistake, the 8 minute taxi ride cost us thirty euro! But we availed of shuttle on return to airport. Very efficient service, and a very h... Read more

Location, close to airport but really in the suburbs of Madrid. Style of hotel is that of the 70's, in that you check in at front office and then walk to your room like a Motel 6 where the rooms are all on the main floor with the door to the room facing the road, then one part of the hotel has a large three story building with rooms like in a holiday Inn hotel, but entrance door can be opened by anyone and there are No food amenities available you need to walk to front office building to get som... Positives - airport pick up and transfer 5* Breakfast, swimming pool 5*. Having that swimming pool means you're slightly out from the city centre but the metro is a short distance away, catch it to 'opera' and you're in the heart of the city in less than half an hour. Don't worry about the lack of sun beds around the pool they all come out at 11am with towels. Only minor things to approve it - the TV's are a bit outdated and the rooms and bathrooms would benefit from a bit of TLC but don't let... Read more

Had I had to pay directly for my stay I would have demanded my money back. The hotel stay on two separate nights was covered by my travel agent and I will be having a word with her over this. Supposedly 4 star it was not by a long way even allowing for the overrated Spanish system off grading. The photograph used at the head of this site is of a room that is probably only typical of the rooms at the far end of the site and probably used for conference attendees. It was in one of these that I had... Read more

This hotel is clean, available on short notice, and has nice facilities including a pool. They picked me up from the airport within 15 minutes of calling. There's nothing wrong with this hotel but it's clearly a mid level hotel- for the price it is a bargain and anyone who complains is just being a brat.

The hotel is close to the Airport and provides a free shuttle, although you have to wait 45 minutes beforehand to get on. It took a 20 Euro taxi ride to get there from the train station. When we finally arrived, the receptionist was dismissive and gave us 1-word answers as if she was doing us a favor by checking us in. When we got to our room, we were SHOCKED. We've stayed at 2-star motels that were much nicer than this place. The rooms smelled like smoke and sported ancient decor and fixtur... Read more

Stayed here in 18th July for 4 nights. Both me and my partner loved the hotel and could not fault it. We stayed in main hotel and the rooms were spotless and towels and sheets changed daily. Food was a bit pricey but anything we ate was very nice. Very close to metro station only about 10mins and the metro is 2 euro into madrid centre which is a must see. We visited the zoo and theme park and also went by metro which was very straightforward. There is also a water park close by in san fernando w... Read more

Don't listen to all the negative reviews on here. We read some before we went and were unsure what to expect but were really pleased. The rooms were clean & were cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and helpful even though they didn't speak much English. We ate at the bar most nights and the food was very reasonable though I recommend sharing as portions are large. Beer and Sangria is reasonably priced. Spirits are a little pricey but then their measures are huge so that's not unreasonab... Read more

Stayed here last year and wasn't impressed but it has greatly improved since. Lovely rooms and close to the metro. Great breakfast in the morning! My one MAJOR issue was the swimming pool attendant. He was an ignorant, pig-headed individual. I observed an almost daily confrontation with guests about the location of sun loungers. He enforced different rules for the pool everyday! Not to mention that he regularly sat on the opposite side of the pool to the bar so guests went unserved. Consider fi... Read more

We have just returned from this hotel and overall had a great time. Lets get the negative out of the way. Pool attendant is incredible hard work. The pool clearly has a sign about not reserving sunbeds but this is ignored by the staff, 2 hours we were there one day struggling for a sunbed and when we tried to occupy one which had a hotel towel on it we were clearly told NO. I did complain and the hotel staff were not interested. What a surprise, sun bed and sun brolly reserved for a girl fr... Read more

The real problem here is how they treat their guests... it is very tensious and i am uncomfortable when i ask simple things - ie how to get to the centre or what is the internet password. Otherwise it is a bit old but nicely arranged area. Room is clean. A bit out of city but with metro it is very convenient. They offer shuttle to the airport which was the main reason we preferred this hotel. I think it is a 3 stars hotel though not 4.

So, we thought it was a 4 star hotel... got here - outside stairs you 2nd storey that had water stains and no fridge. Asked for a different room and they put us in a newer building which was MUCH better. Nice staff. Old pool. Not close to anything. Sigh.

Just got back after a 5 day break in Madrid at Hotel Osuna. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, only a few staff speak English. Contrary to previous comments about pool staff we had no problems, there were always beds available, clean towels on request and very friendly and helpful staff around pool. Pool and pool area cleaned daily. In our opinion pool not suitable for small children. Room cleaned daily, fresh towels and maids really... Read more

My wife booked this hotel ( a double room) for our honeymoon and as soon as we arrived there the staff were very unapproachable and unfriendly. When we got to our rooms they gave us 2 single beds. We went back to reception and told them we booked a double room. He said any room we pre-book does not mean we will get that room?? I thought this was ridiculous we already paid for our hotel which should secure our room. He didnt seem to want to communicate at all. He said he will look to see if there... Read more

Visited here with my 21 year old daughter. Can't fault the hotel and it is underrated . Fantastic reception. Really friendly staff both in hotel and at pool. Great facilities. Rooms great size and very clean and really quiet at night. Excellent breakfast and food generally of good quality. Near Madrid but not too central. short bus journey to anywhere you want to visit. Nothing a problem. Planning another visit! Thank you to all for a lovely break

This was a real find. Saw reviews on here which left me a little nervous but have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Easy access to the metro and the beautiful city of Madrid and Bernabéu Stadium. There aren't many sun loungers but hey this was a city break so not the end of the world. Would definitely consider a return visit and hopefully catch a football match next time.

The dirtiest swimming pool one can ever see with the most unwelcoming staff who doesn't bother about attending the guests. There are no locking system in the bathrooms and the breakfast is also very limited and cold. I waited in the airport for 3 hours for the hotel pick up which should have taken not more than 15 mins that cost me to miss my international flight. I completely spoiled my trip by staying in this hotel.

I am very surprised this is a 4 star hotel given the type of service we received. First let me start with the good stuff. Very close to the airport, good wifi, free airport drop off, nice food, quirky old-fashioned feel to the room. The bad stuff. Staff at the front desk were very unfriendly and seemed preoccupied and overwhelmed. They were busy answering calls , typing , printing stuff etc while we waited for a "Hello". Finally there was a brief greeting from one of them and then he started to ... Read more

We drove to Madrid and wanted a hotel with secure parking for the car. Hotel Osuna offered this at a reasonable price. We went to Madrid for the weekend and had a lovely large room. The staff were very helpful. We did not eat in the hotel and the swimming pool was closed as it was past the 30 September. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport and the Canillejas Metro Station is a short walk away. The train to the centre of Madrid costs ‚?¨2. We had a nice stay here and would definitel...
