I arrived to this hotel by taxi, The reception was not good enough for my expectations. The first bad impression i had was that i should lift my suitcases through 2 stairs inside the hotel before arriving to the elevators. Honestly dont know how there can exist an hotel with 4 stars with this entrance. The room was ok but not great, maybe the best part was the toilet that seems refurbished. The breakfast was ok but there is something i didnt like it, there's one person that pick up the dirty... Read more

We stayed a few nights here last month. The hotel is nice and has very friendly staff. The rooms were really outdated. But the bathroom seemed a little more modern. The location is great as it's near a metro station and near Malana district with great restaurants, bars, and shops. Very walkable from hotel to Gran Via and even to Centro. For the price, this place is definitely a good option if you don't mind staying outside of Centro.

We stayed at this hotel as a part of europeandestinations.com package which we paid about $2700 for a week for couple days in Madrid, and 4 days in Paris. It is published as a 4 star hotel. I am not sure if we would call it a 4 star hotel but it was clean, and reasonably large room with a great shower and bathroom. Ours did not include the breakfast but they told us that we could have breakfast for 10 euros per person which was a reasonable price if you ask. We liked the room overall. Staff was... Read more

We stayed just for 2 nights, during new year eve. The hotel is very well located, close to the subway. The room is big enough, super clean and it was renovated. We had a pleasant stay and a good rest.

The staff are lovely, very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable, I really liked the pillows! Everything was spotless, and I loved the towel warming rack in the bathroom. The elevators are small, but that is not unexpected. I was on the second floor and found it very easy to take the stairs to the lobby. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of a metro station and very walkable to most major sites in the Center. My only complaint (and it is a very minor one) is that the w... We arrived very early in the morning. About 8AM, so four hours before check in. We were not expecting to be able to check in and just came by the hotel in the hopes of dropping off our luggage and coming back at check in time. The guy at the front desk told us, rather abruptly, that we were early. We said we knew and asked to drop off our bags. I think that the fact we didn't demand a room and knew we were early altered his demeanor a bit and he gave us a room right then and there, so we were ab... Read more

Nice modern rooms. But, our bus could not enter the 1 way street, thus, making us move our luggage to the end of the main street. Also, the new wing does no have a lift from the ground to the 1st floor. Again we had to carry our luggage to the 1st floor and then take the lift. The hotel has no porter service, But the staff were helpful enough to bring down our luggage to the ground floor.

That's the way I want business traveling sometimes: smooth and uneventful. And that's what I got at the hotel: good service, also Italian speaking, a nice room - upgraded gently by the hotel - a convenient breakfast and a quick checkout. In the centre of Madrid, close to the metro.

This is a decent, comfy, quiet hotel near Plaza Colon in Madrid, with a very decent hot and cold breakfast buffet. There is no gym or pool but the staff were helpful and I had a decent night's sleep on the third floor. Would come again.

Our friends who live in Madrid half the year, gave us this hotel recommendation. It's located away from the downtown tourist area yet within walking distance of Del Prado and other sights, near a metro, and in a local neighborhood with great cafes and shops nearby. We stayed in a supreme room, with an extra sitting area w TV. It has a contemporary look. Would stay in this area again. Great location is the key! I was worried about smoking and no issues w the hotel. In general though, in... Read more
