The room was adequate, clean; bathroom was great. What I really want to comment on is the staff -- they were all so helpful. Hector, Isabel in particular-- offering services of obtaining tickets to bullfight; offering advice for shopping, offer to call our pre-booked tours and confirm for us. It was so helpful for us, and they were never too busy, always courteous and smiling. The hotel was within walking distance of most things we wanted to see/do so location was also great. Buffet breakfast wa... Read more

The positives: 1. It's near the train stations. 2. Breakfast is not that bad. 3. No need to use the cab from airport. 4. New toilet and shower. 5. Wifi signal is good. 6. Room is clean. 7. Reception are very helpful. The negatives: 1. AC rooms control is within the discretion of the management so prepare to open the windows and remove your clothes during night time. 2. Bed is hard. We were only given a combined two single bed, for a husband and wife this could be a bit of an issue to some. ... Read more

In a great location for walking or visiting museums, parks and other sites the Hotel provides clean rooms, good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. I found it to be of better value than other more pricey hotels

The hotel is clean and well kept, but not fancy in any way. You get what you pay for, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. The location is convenient right next to the metro. All in all it was a good experience and we would stay at the hotel again.

This hotel doesn't have any really specific traits - just a decent, comfortable place to stay. What I liked there: really fast WiFi, large bathroom with two sinks, neat and discreet room service, a PC with a printer in the lobby. The only disadvantage that the lightning in the room is kinda dark.

Good points were the location. Really close to the metro. Lots of breakfast places in the area. We tried the breakfast once at the hotel. It was ok but nothing special. The room was very clean and the wifi was fast. Bad points. Our checkin did not go to well. An elderly man in the reception (he looked around 60) accused me of not paying even though I had paid in advance. It took a long time to sort everything out. I had paid and he was wrong. This man was just a complete disaster when it comes... Read more

Different size of rooms, some rooms will feel too small. Parking a car will be difficult, the hotel garage can only take the smallest most compact car. Expect a 10-15 min walk from the nearest garage which will cost from 24‚?¨ and upwards for a nights stay. Hotel rooms have thin walls and expect no privacy, kids playing on a saturday will get you out of the hotel for a long walk and some fresh air. Stay away from the breakfast. I was there for 10 nights and it was enough to be able to know about this hotel almost everything! During booking also upon arrival I asked for a parking for whole my stay and I was told there is parking beside hotel (under ownership of hotel) and I paid 26 Euros per night for using that. When I entered the parking, I faced with a crypt which needs Michael Schumacher or Fernando Alonso with a navigator to be able to park the car there!!!! I had to waste 15 minutes of my time each time I needed t... Read more

Small room but clean. Breakfast is average. We had to use a staircase to the elevator, which was not so convenient especially caring our luggage. The location is really convenient to go to most of the tourist destinations with a metro station just around the corner. Price was very good.

This Hotel is 7 minutes on foot to the city center . There is a metro and a bus station near for those who prefer a faster way to reach the center. The room is fully equipped with the necessary. The staff is helpfull. Breakfast is not really tasty but there are a lot of options for everyone.

Lovely hotel. Central for attractions and good places to eat. Loads of good, inexpensive tapas bars nearby. The hotel was very clean. we will definitely stay again. This is amazing value for the price we paid on Trip Advisor.

Stayed in the hotel 2-6 September on sixth floor. This floor was classified as non smoking. Two lifts were available to all floors. There is a short ramp from street level. We had no problems during our stay and the room and bed were very comfortable. The air-con was certainly needed with outside temperatures in the high 30‚??s. The mini-bar fridge had extra room for a few personal items and the free safe was a bonus. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in our room but the cold water ... Read more

We stayed here for a week for our first trip to Madrid. We would definitely come back. The hotel is so handy for the Metro and an easy transfer from the airport. The reception staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The room was very well appointed and had a nice welcome bag of toiletries. The refrigerator worked extremely well, as did the air con - very fortunate as we were there in a heat wave ! The breakfast was plentiful and there was a good variety of items. Had a great stay here. Good location with a metro station just around the corner and less than 10 minutes to the heart of the city. Really clean and spacious rooms and although the decor is very traditional it didn't look at all dated. Really good choice at breakfast and very friendly staff at reception. Well worth a visit.

We stayed for three nights. The hotel is situated within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Prado. There are long queues at the Prado so the Thysen Art Museum (nearby) is a better bet. The hotel is clean, has a relaxing atmosphere and staff are helpful. One small criticism was the cost of breakfast (extra) at ‚?¨9.90 per person. We didn't use the hotel restaurant, preferring to take a short walk to the Pelican Caf√© (Belgian) for our breakfasts (half the cost). The hotel was qui... Read more

I only stayed there for 1 night. I never got a chance to experience the dining room or the rest of the hotel. The hotel was at a nice location, easily accessible to the major sites from the metro station 1 block away. Be aware about that the metro fro Atocha train station is not running due to construction. The hotel was very clean, beautiful and nicely maintained. The bathroom had dual sink. It looked like it was newly renovated. Everything looked elegant and well taken care of. Definitely r... I stayer there for a week in august 2016, Great position: close to metro station and 15 minutes from grand via, not a problem because Along the road there are so many cute shops. Concierges were kind and polite, housekeeping was fine, even though our room wasn't recently refurbished, instead bathroom was brand new and totally modern styled. Breakfast was very rich and we enjoyed it, Great choice of sweets, fruits, drinks and cold cuts. Powerful wifi network all over the hotel.

The hotel is very well located near a metro station and connecting streets. The neighborhood is calm and locals live around. Many restaurants to choose and transportation. The only minor is that you can hear people talk at night and the noise in the morning because there's a construction going on next door. Will recommend because of the space, location and bathroom. Convenient breakfast everyday.

We stayed here for a week after a problem with the booking of the hotel we usually stay at. I was very happy with the hotel, check in was easy and the staff were friendly. Our room wasn't quite ready as we were a bit early but the receptionist came to find us when it was. The lobby has very comfy sofas and is lovely to look at. We were on the 6th floor, despite being close to a main road it was quiet. The bathroom had a little sack with a mini hairbrush, a razor kit and some other bathroom b... Read more

In a Great location, this hotel is very much worth the value for money. Entry hall has a nice classy decoration. Room has a more classic style, but with a nice renovated bathroom. Personal are absolutely great and will be up late when you come back from the Madrid night, waiting to serve you water or whatever else you may need. Great experience.

I booked a single night here, then extended my stay despite the extension price being higher, because I was quite happy with room, the friendly and resourceful service and the hotel's excellent location. Nice modern decor and furnishings in the rooms, and large, rather luxuriously appointed bathrooms. Quiet location, but close to several metro stations, and just an 8 minute walk to either Chueca or Plaza de Olavide, both very interesting areas. Street parking was difficult but feasible for ... The hotel is very close to Alonso Martinez metro station where three lines are meeting. Also, the neighbourhood is excellent, close to the hipster district, which is full of good restaurants and shops. A 10 minute walk is Gran Via, the shopping street of Madrid. The hotel itself is a little old-fashioned, but the services are perfect. The bathroom is equipped with the nicest, new staff and the bed is very good and comfortable. We always slept very well. Our friends who live in Madrid half the year, gave us this hotel recommendation. It's located away from the downtown tourist area yet within walking distance of Del Prado and other sights, near a metro, and in a local neighborhood with great cafes and shops nearby. We stayed in a supreme room, with an extra sitting area w TV. It has a contemporary look. Would stay in this area again. Great location is the key! That's the way I want business traveling sometimes: smooth and uneventful. And that's what I got at the hotel: good service, also Italian speaking, a nice room - upgraded gently by the hotel - a convenient breakfast and a quick checkout. In the centre of Madrid, close to the metro.

Nice modern rooms. But, our bus could not enter the 1 way street, thus, making us move our luggage to the end of the main street. Also, the new wing does no have a lift from the ground to the 1st floor. Again we had to carry our luggage to the 1st floor and then take the lift. The hotel has no porter service, But the staff were helpful enough to bring down our luggage to the ground floor.

We arrived very early in the morning. About 8AM, so four hours before check in. We were not expecting to be able to check in and just came by the hotel in the hopes of dropping off our luggage and coming back at check in time. The guy at the front desk told us, rather abruptly, that we were early. We said we knew and asked to drop off our bags. I think that the fact we didn't demand a room and knew we were early altered his demeanor a bit and he gave us a room right then and there, so we were ab... Read more
