The hotel is close by the airport, reasonably priced, with a airport shuttle. This is a very large hotel with multiple conventions at any time. The check in at the front desk was quick and efficient. The directions to the room were a little vague. We had to get help again to find the room. Did I say this was a large hotel? The pool is seasonal and was not yet open during our stay. There are two bars, restaurant, gym, salon, and car rental located in the hotel. Our room was very nice and clean. T... Read more

Quiet, cool room with a very comfortable bed. Great sleep. What more could you ask from a hotel "near" the airport? The staff were friendly and professional, which contributed to the quality of the stay. The airport shuttle is free and runs on time, which is always a good thing. Be sure to allow a few extra minutes if you're departing from T4, since the shuttle goes first to T1 & 2.

Fantastic facilities, helpful staff,a great location and first class accommodation make this an ideal location for business or pleasure. Located close to the airport, but far enough not to notice it. Friendly staff with excellent English. Nice, large room with everything you expect. Good wifi coverage and excellent food, including a fantastic breakfast buffet. Only downside is that it is not in the city center, but I did not miss it at all. Recommended!

The hotel was so busy with conventions that it took a while for someone to answer my call requesting a shuttle pickup. If you are looking for a big hotel for your business gatherings this is a good place. The whole organisation is geared up for it and it will go smoothly. Why 4/5? Because the quality of the food is not good enough, and the sheer distance to your room when you are in cell block tower 4 like I was. Rooms are sufficient and clean

Visited madrid for a weekend and was able to checkin quickly, no hassles - friendly staff and nearly all can understand and speak english! Room was so far from lobby, but was big and comforting. Breakfast selection was good, could do with another chef making omelettes, as the waiting time was too much. Would go again!

One must always approach a large hotel with patience as it becomes apparent that personalized customer service is non-existant. It therefore was a pleasant surprise that the staff delivered personalized guest services and were helpful with details especially the concierge in our planning for the south of Spain. Just a one night stop over before a long haul flight. Roxana on desk very helpful. Asked for a quiet room and she delivered. Had a great nights sleep on potentially the most comfortable mattress ever (even better then my memory foam at home!). Had a slightly earlier wake up call then expected but made for an excellent breakfast, lots of newspapers available, unlimited nespressos at the breakfast bar along with fresh fruit and freshly made omelettes. Managed to stretch breakfast out for an hour w... Read more

A bit far from downtown but relatively close to the airport (about 10min). Recently redecorated giving a nice Marriott style boost. Room is nice and spacious - great bathroom. Just take care when taking a shower as it may get the bathroom completely flooded. Executive lounge is very good so if you are a gold/platinum member it is highly recommended. Lunch and dinner options at the hotel are good. Plenilunio mall is about 10 min drive / taxi in case you want something different. This is a... Read more

Som issues that stopped me giving 5 reather than 4. I have a platinum card. I took the time out to check-in on-line and asked for: - 2 x foam pillows - a room close to elevators - a room that does not have a connecting door I got 1 out of 3. Check-in experience was a disaster. The person that checked me in was clueless. Outside of this, experience was really good. Room was fine (big, comfortable bed, well appointed), bar and restaurant great, business lounge really very nice, staff incredib... Read more

I attended a conference here in October. It is a dedicated conference hotel and has 4 large blocks which contain rooms and meeting facilities. All are linked within the hotel. This meant that there were a lot of people and it just felt lifeless and with no character. The staff were fine, breakfast ok but even the restaurant for breakfast resembled a large cafeteria. If I hadn't been attending a conference here I would never have stayed at this hotel. It is close to the airport though but i guess... Read more

We are generally budget travellers but we treated ourselves to a night at the Marriott at the end of our trip. The hotel appears to be quite new and it's extremely large so be prepared to have to walk a bit. There are four towers and we were in the third on a higher floor. The room was spacious, with good lighting and modern amenities. It was quiet, other than the air conditioning unit, so we turned it off. Staff at the front desk were unfailingly friendly and helpful. We had dinner in a bar ty... Read more

I was on my way back to Miami from Lisbon and we had to overnight in Madrid. We were pleasantly surprised with the level of service and quality of the rooms that this hotel has to offer. The people at the front desk were friendly and quick, the lady at the lounge trying to help us all on how to use those fancy coffee machines and on top of it all the upgrade. Our suite was amazing. Thank you and please keep up with the good work.

The Marriott was the best value hotel we found for the last night in Madrid. It had a shuttle bus to the major shopping centre as well as to the airport. The room included was for a buffet breakfast and it was the best buffet selection we had for the entire 2 weeks. Would definitely return and stay there.

We had an issue with the free shuttle on arrival, following a 3 hour delayed flight, so it was very late. I had to phone 3 times, even though via email with Gala they said it would be arranged - firstly the driver drove straight past the stop, following another phone call the shuttle didn't arrive. After the 3rd phone call the receptionist told us to get a taxi which they did reimburse and also upgraded our room as compensation. They were very professional and efficient.

Stayed one night in between flights. Front desk staff very helpful. But the hotel is really a huge conference centre. After checking in my walk to Tower 4 took several minutes and I felt that I was in some 22nd Century Space station as I walked past endless conference rooms. But the room was large, comfortable and quite excellent. The bar close to the reception is warm and welcoming and the Buffet was very good. Because of the shuttle and location I will use this hotel again, but beware as a Tax... Read more

Great place to stay before flying from Madrid. Clean, quiet, spacious, good complimentary breakfast buffet. Trouble with hairdryer not working and midnight television alarm/wake up message that came on but we were unaware that it was set. In the morning we tried to find this setting so the next guest wouldn't be affected, but couldn't find it. We informed the desk but they knew nothing about the alarm or how to fix it. An annoyance at midnight for sure.

We flew in from Lisbon and decided to overnight in Madrid before our long flight the next day. This property is massive to say the least, obviously used mostly for conventions and large tour groups. It was a nice treat to stay in a top notch hotel before heading home. The rooms were spacious, the staff attentive. There is a complimentary shuttle that operates every 30 minutes to and from the airport. I highly recommend this hotel for an overnight, however, if your plans call for an extended ... Read more

Perfectly scheduled, frequent airport shuttle. Smooth and quick check in. Professional yet authentic staff. Modern and chic decor in earthy colors, with lots of natural light and space. Suite is huge, spacey, cosy and set as a one bedroom apartment with homey feeling. Amenities are abundant and of high quality. King bed is rather for two kings and absolutely marvel to sleep in. Surrounding is fully quite and soundproof ideal. Privacy at its highest. Executive lounge staff discrete, in neat and... Read more

The hotel and conference center run by Marriott is very large and can feel overwhelming. This said, the rooms are modern, the kingsize beds are comfortable and the staff are attentive and knowledgeable. The morning buffet breakfast is very nice with many options to choose from. Friends we travelled with had difficulty finding the pool and gym area that they said was not in a convenient area. Superb customer service at this Marriott property close to airport (and little else). Suites are large, modern, and comfortable. Lounge is one of the nicest of any Marriott, anywhere. Highly recommend this hotel if you desire lodging adjacent Madrid airport. Property is not on airport grounds; accessible by Uber, taxi, etc. Five stars!

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We were looking for a hotel near the airport as we were only there a couple nights after flying in and before flying out. They provide a shuttle to and from the airport, which we used upon arrival and departure, as well as to pick up a rental car for a day trip. There is also a shuttle to a nice shopping mall that features over 150 stores and approximately 20 restaurants (fast food and nicer sit down). The hotel is very large and was hosting several lar... My wife and I stayed here before flying. The hotel is huge. Check in was efficient and directions to the room pretty clear. It was a long walk, simply because the hotel is so big. The room was a good size and dark, quiet and comfortable. Food was a little hard to come by, with service only at set times in the typical Spanish way. Eating in the bar meant waiting for food service to start and then getting in quickly with an order before all the other hungry customers. The gym here deserves ... Read more

This hotel is absolutely stunning. It appears brand new. The service is impeccable. The staff carried themselves exactly like the staff at a Ritz Carlton, and elegance came to mind many times. The trade off is location. This is shuttle close to the airport, which may or may not suit you, but its an easy taxi ride or Uber in to town. I was there for a missed flight connection, and it was perfect.

This was my first Marriott stay since the Marriott/Starwood merge. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised of its superb service and was very happy that I had a chance to stay at Marriott this time. My husband and I stayed here for one night prior to our flight to Paris. We checked in around 6PM. Lobby was somewhat busy with a few guests and on-going conferences at the hotel but check in process was very very smooth. This possibly has to be the worst 4 star hotel ever. Took 40 min to check in. Bar/restaurants don't have enough staff so you have to wait for ever for food and drink. Breakfast is a complete joke- don't expect anything hot!! Room is OK but they give you a table to work at and it doesn't have a plug socket near it. Avoid this at all costs. This hotel is probably the farthest from the Madrid Airport in terms of distance and time(15 mins), but still provides a free shuttle every 20 mins during peak time and 30 mins during off-peak time. The hotel also has a free shuttle to the nearest Shopping mall which is around 3-4 kms away. The hotel is literally very huge with 4 wings and we were allotted a room in the 4th wing. I stayed here for a business conference. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to/from the main airport - I came in from Terminal 4 which took about 20 minutes. My room was clean & comfortable will all the facilities you would expect. This is an expensive and modern hotel, yet the hotel restaurant Kalma is a disgrace. It's expensive fare, not typical hotel food. I ordered a ribeye steak that turned out to be 50% fat. I realize a steak in Madrid might be different from a steak in NYC, but when it says "steak," I assume that it will be MOSTLY meat. The other dishes were tasteless, including the desserts. Breakfast the next morning was ample, but again, the baked goods were tasteless.
