Stayed here for a two week business trip, and even though a trip of that length is too long, the staff at the Hesperia made us feel at home. Really friendly and responsive. One of the best hotels I have stayed in on a business trip. I really felt like the staff strove as hard as possible to fulfill any desire. And great breakfast buffet.

Room for 3 adults was perfect. Room Service fantastic - My daughter was hungry and they sent her complimentary food and for her 21st birthday she received a beautiful cake with a candle, what a lovely touch. Towels replaced twice a day! I'm sure they cleaned the room twice as well! Very well kept. Reception staff extremely helpful with information on where to visit and how to get there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Look forward to our next visit.

Although it's clearly geared towards business travel, the Hesperia proved very family-friendly during a vacation with my husband and 18 month-old daughter. Excellent service and nicely appointed rooms. Open-air gym on the roof was a plus. Concierge services in particular were outstanding: friendly and extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations, reservations, and babysitting arrangements.

Great hotel on Paseo de la Castellana beside Gregorio Marañon metro station. The location is good because you can get around walking or by hopping on the metro. This is an ideal hotel if you're looking for luxury and want to be in central Madrid with great amenities but not strictly in the touristy centre of the capital. This hotel is located at Madrid's famous street - Passeo de la Castellana; in which the city centre, museums, and Real Madrid stadion - santiago barnebeu was also located in. The lobby of this hotel was decorated in classy, european style while the rooms had contemporary style. We had a very good sleep while we stayed here, thanks to their comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed in a Penthouse Suite, also known as a Suite Atico at the Hesperia Madrid and loved it. The entrance and lobby area is lovely. Check in was friendly and fairly quick. The suite was very spacious with a fridge/minibar and a nespresso machine. The living area was nicely furnished. There was a separate bedroom and the bathroom was off the living area, not the bedroom, which was convenient for us. Also off the living area was a nice size terrace with a jacuzzi and a table with seating for 4... Read more

I had the best of times in Madrid for a couple of days. The hotel is fabulous but what really made the difference is the very attentive service, from the attention you get at breakfast to when you come back "home" after a long day to see the sweet message left on the bed.

This was our first visit to Madrid. We were really impressed with all the staff at the hotel, very attentive, friendly and professional. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely and roomy, the Nespresso machine and Ipod dock are nice touches. The Breakfast selection was varied and good quality. The hotel is ideally situated and we had an excellent few days. We have no hesitation in recommending the Hesperia to anyone, the staff really are a credit to the hotel.

Nice hotel. Amazing staff. Outstanding breakfast and food quality.Small room to hot but cozy and expensive. The local toon of the hotel is amazing, waking distance to nice restaurants and roads. Service definitely is 5 stars.

Luxury hotel with all the positives. Food is great and the rooms are luxurious and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Bus station and metro station just outside the hotel, making the commute very easy. I can't think of any negatives of this place.

solid quality hotel. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the facilities are above average. The hotel is poorly situated for the downtown attractions but good for business district. Having said that when i ordered a beer at the bar, it took over 15 minutes to come when there was only me and my colleague in the bar, then when it came the girl did not have a opener, and so I had to use a spoon to open it myself - all a bit embarrassing for her.

Stayed here for one night on short notice. Front desk staff where very helpful. Room was very clean. However no free bottles of water in rooms. That seems a little odd for a 5 star hotel. Room's bathroom was quite large and had everything you needed. Over all a nice hotel. No issues.

I give the hotel a perfect score because the hotel personell were tremendous in going the extra distance to be friendly and helpful. The hotel room was spacious and nicely kept, but I would have appreciated it if there had been a weak night light of some kind near or in the bathroom to make it easy not to bump into furniture in the dark when getting up to use the bathroom at night.
