Stayed here for five night in May. The room was fantastic with its two floors, two small balconies and a neat and fun layout of the room. The house keeping kept it really nice, tidy and clean. All the staff spoke English well, close to perfect! This is something you can't take for granted when traveling around. The breakfast was more then nice enough, and recommendations from the receptionists for places to eat later on was very good! Location of the hotel was perfect for someone who likes to ... Read more

I stayed at this hotel one week ago with my friend and cousin. It is a very trendy boutique hotel in a great location. It is close to the Palacio Real and the Gran Via. We had room #206. It was a loft room perfect for 3 people. It had a small kitchen, 2 bathrooms ( 1 shower) Double bed in loft area with single bed downstairs. Decorated so cute!. 2 balconies. we stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. we took the duplex - great room, great value for money - you get a little cool apartment in a very good price. The hotel is modern and newly renoveted. Location is really perfect - in the heart of the city, but in a nice and quite street (literally one minute walk from callao) The team is so nice and helpful (thanks Barbara) - helped us with everything, remembered our private names and purpose of the visit, made us feel at home. 5 American women stayed at Rooommate Laura in Madrid for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful while we were there. (one staff member was a bit rude, but the others made up for it) Our rooms were wonderful and filled with all the amenities. The proximity to Plaza Major, the Prado and San Miguel Market, was easy to walk. The rooms had a small kitchenette, sitting area and plenty of room to congregate.

We stayed 5 nights in a family room and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is very, very central (between Gran Via and Sol) and while there is a bit of noise, if you're tired after a day out it doesn't matter! The room was huge - a big downstairs with living space and twin beds, big shower room, kitchenette (at an extra charge which we didn't take, though the full size fridge is handy for bottles of water etc) and then an upstairs loft area with double bed and an extra loo. The room had two huge do... Read more

Just back from a five day stay. The location is excellent and the room I had was nice. You can have breakfast up to 12 noon and this is excellent too: great coffee, tomatoes and oranges that actually have some taste, and very goo cooked food. But the best thing about this place is the people that work there: such nice helpful capable people with nice attitudes. Two things that needed fixing in my room were attended to within minutes, and on my last day, just as I was going, I had a problem sendi... Read more

I've stayed at this hotel twice so far on trips to Spain, and enjoyed it each time. Comfortable, quiet, with extremely friendly and helpful staff, and just a short walk from Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and the Sol Metro station, this is the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Madrid. The Prado is about a twenty-minute walk away, and there plenty of restaurants and cafes within a couple of blocks. Would recommend this hotel highly to anyone I know who plans to visit Madrid.

We had such a lovely welcome by the staff in the hotel, everyone was so friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect for seeing the sights of the city and we felt very safe there. There was quite a bit of loud noises from the street below, emptying of the dustbins through the night and a nightclub close by which was noisy with people leaving at different hours in the morning but we were in the centre of Madrid!!! We had a duplex room and it was very clean and comfortable. We returned to o... Read more

Stayed at Laura Madrid. Decent property with excellent front staff. The property is next to couple of discos and results late night revellers and early morning garbage and delivery truck noise. Property needs a bit of upkeep but the hotel staff makes up for all asthetic deficiencies. I would always stay at this property just for the staff. Especially Barbra and Manuela who went out of their way to take care of us.....especially our 6 yr old daughter.

A very welcoming hotel - the staff are warm, kind, approachable, helpful and very friendly. The room was ideal for us - clean and spacious for its 3 occupants. Nicely laid out, with the main bed on a mezzanine accessed by quite steep stairs. Compact, clean and functional kitchen, likewise the bathroom. Everything was modern and comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space too. Free wi-fi in the hotel and they'll also give you a free loan of kit for free and easy access to wi-fi anywhere in the city cen... Read more

We chose this hotel as it was apartment style, but with the amenities of a hotel. Free Wifi, breakfast served until 12:00 pm, fresh lemon infused water in the lobby and a friendly staff that was very helpful. The location was the other selling feature. We could easily walk to Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real and other great locations. Please note, if you have very young kids the staircase in the room we were in was very STEEP. It made me nervous, but our 2 year old (almost 3) seemed to think nothing... Read more

Me and my boyfriend seen a lot of places coz we love travelling. We decided to go to Madrid for our first time and it was really a surprise for us. The hotel is very much in the center. Almost 30 mins. away from the airport. All is walking distance. When we arrived at the hotel, we've asked if we want water or coffe and while waiting for our room Javi explained everything about Madrid and where to go. Javi and his team like Barbara and Rafa was really friendly and easy to approach. They'll sugge... Read more

The best part of this hotel was the staff. Don't get me wrong the room was great (the beds were fantastic, furnishing & restrooms modern & breakfast was pretty good) but the front desk staff was the highlight. We got a genuine hello & goodbye every time we left and entered the hotel & they gave us the best recommendations for restaurants and shops. Our room was always clean and tidy & the breakfast was always fully stocked.

My husband and I stayed here for several nights in November over the US Thanksgiving holiday. We definitely recommend this hotel. It's in a perfect location, walking distance to cafes, museums, sights. Our room was very comfortable; and BBC etc in English for occasional TV news coverage. The room was very comfortable, decent size, black-out screens, and WiFi is excellent. They even gave us a tiny device to carry with us "Wi-Net" so we had WiFi throughout the city. Breakfast was included and... Read more
