When first arriving the reception area is a bit like the entrance to a night club with it's red walls and big silver light globes and music playing so wondered if we had booked somewhere that attracts the younger generation. But no there were lots of other folk similar in age. This hotel is a little quirky with it's decor but we had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is â?¬7 pp and quite adequate with a variety of food choices. The room was fresh and clean with a nice sofa to relax on - the roo... Read more

We couple stayed in a hotel for 6 nights, great location most attractions are within walking distance. We booked a duplex room, but when we arrived we asked to change the room because the bathroom and toilet were not on the same floor of the bed. We got a duplex suite included a kitchenette for an additional $ 10 per night. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we got a small device to have wi-fi when we walked in the city and it was very convenient. Breakfast was very good. .

We had booked a 2 night stay in a Standard Double Room. Upon arrival the front desk staff suggested to upgrade our room for 20 Euro extra to their best room (I think it was a junior suite) on the top floor as we were travelling with our 1.5yr old. We agreed to pay the extra and stayed in a large room on the top floor that had a large kind bed, kitchen, and everything was clean and tidy. Like other reviews - it is close to many attractions in Madrid. Be prepared to do some walking as most place... Read more

Room Mate Laura was a really experience for us. Excellent services, warm, kind and very helpful staff, beautiful and personal rooms with nice balconies. Maybe the best location in the centre of Madrid.

Our room was perfect because we had a bed on the mezzanine and so had a privacy - my daughter had a sofa bed on the first level. The location is very good The fact having a small kitchen helps to save some money

The hotel is in a very unique position in that it's in a small quiet corner within the busiest area of Madrid - it's very close to the important shopping areas without being too rambunctious & noisy. Decor is very modern without being tacky or "budget". The staff is nice enough to recommend to us the best places to eat and visit, and even drew up a route on our map for a convenient walking tour. They also provided free luggage storage while we ventured into the Andalucian region for a few day... Read more

Where can you find a little hotel who will lend you their portable wifis, will open the city map and teach you where to go, will tell email you the mass schedules of the churches nearby, and who will open their breakfast buffet earlier, because you have an early flight to catch??? Plus, prepare the 12 grapes to eat for New Year? Hmmm... Laura on my mind...

Positive facts: 1/ Splendid location, walking distance to Plaza Mayor, Cathedral, Palacio Real etc. 2/ Very friendly staff at reception, also house keeping. 3/ Appropriate & clean standard double room size. Good mattress, all common bathroom amenities to be found (slippers would make it perfect though) 4/ plenty of Shopping & Restaurants just around the corner. Annoying facts: 1/ The Hotel is located directly at Plaza San Martin, in a quiet street, still it can be very loud in the night - I ass... Read more

My husband and I and two boys, 14 and 12. Staff exceedingly helpful and attentive. Style of accommodation perfect for our group - "cool" for kids and accommodating for parents. Excellent location for exploring Madrid.
