Nice Hotel. We got the Metro into the centre. Its about 30 minutes away. Not many restaurants near by do eat at the hotel or in town. Parked at the hotel. I would come back as we enjoyed our stay. 2 adukts and 2 kids.

We had an overnight stay at Novotel Madrid Puente de La Paz during the 2016 Oct/Nov mid term school vacation. We checked into the hotel extremely late around 2.00am as we drover from Lisbon, Portugal to Madrid. Madrid was our fourth stop on our road trip and this is our third Novotel Hotel during this trip. We got a family room on the first floor. The room was stinking with cigarette smoke smell. Room was so compact and there were few cigarette butt burn spots on the carpet. The smoke detector... Not enough staff at the desk for check in. Front desk staff overwhelmed with check in and phone for queries from guests which results in poor service. Bad internet connection and no service support. Stayed in other novotels. This is probably the worst I've been in.

Good hotel, excellent staff, you need taxis to take you to the center but the location is good and quiet and taxis are fairly reasonable. Staff were all very profesional and helpful. Would recommend for business or pleasure.

If you're in Madrid as a tourist, this isn't the best location. Public transit isn't too far away, but it takes about 30 minutes to get to any of the sites that people want to visit in Madrid. The walk to the train isn't so bad; during the day there are a few decent cafes and a nice park to walk by. At night though, this location is really awful for finding food or anything else really. The rooms are pretty bland. This would be a 2-star hotel in the US. The restaurant was pretty awful (like a D... Read more

Good hotel with spacious rooms on the eighth floor, very quiet, easy trip into centre of Madrid on no. 53 bus. Nice choice at breakfast and good evening buffet although some of the food was not very warm.

Went there for 3 nights with a family member at the end of September and literal nothing went the way it should. 4 stars must be pretty relative (and I usually live in mediocre hotels/hostels) but Novotel takes the cake for disappointment. THE ROOMS: Dreadful, they're old and smelly with dirty rugs and holes in the walls. The TV has giant scratch marks on it and the only thing that seems new is the bathroom. The windows are next to impossible to open (I'll get back to this). The hallways reek ... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a course with work. Can't fault the service on arrival, the receptionist who checked me in was very welcoming. The room was a good size with tea making facilities, although the milk was a bit odd and they leave paper cups instead of china or ceramic, which seemed a bit cheap to me. Nice clean bathroom with decent toiletries. The (free) wifi was dreadful; I took my laptop with me but wasn't able to get a stable connection for the duration of my stay. Not ... Read more

We visited Madrid for New Year's Eve and stayed here. The room was lovely and the hotel had a modern feel. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. A bottle of cava and grapes was lovely touch at midnight. The staff were always very helpful. We traveled to the Real Madrid football stadium from the hotel this was an easy bus ride. Taxis into the city centre were very reasonable too. The taxi app was very useful! My son left behind his retainers and the hotel staff helped me to get them sent bac... Read more

For some reason, I couldn't check in at my booked hotel in the city center. Instead, they proposed me this hotel and I booked at it. The staff are dealing professionally with a good manner. The room we stayed at is very old and the toilet needs immediate attention. Didn't like the breakfast much. Anyways, for the circumstances I was at, it is a fair value.
