part of an airline company, not enought services, even paying, too much noise in the room next door, can't sleep before a while.... Disapointed. Good swimming pool and good breakfast. Close from the airport: good point.

This is my first time on the first floor of this hotel and I was surprised by the condition my room is in. Broken tiles, dirty wall, and an overal back to the eighties feeling regarding the furniture. The safe is not secured to the wall and there is hardly any ventilation in the room. Breakfast is good.

Novotel chain of hotels are quite standard. If you have visited 1 you can quite safely say you have seen them all - you won't get any nasty surprises. The room which we stayed for a night was clean, big and comfortable with the usual amenities such as attached bathroom, kettle, mini bars, complimentary tea/coffee sachets, small safe, flat screen TV, WiFi, couch and study table. The shower area in the bathroom has only half a glass screen and that was not wide enough to prevent the basin area... Read more

As a frequent Novotel user, this hotel had always been our transfer hotel if we had a stopover in Madrid. Free shuttle bus from airport to hotel and metro station within 200 metres walk where you can take the metro to the centre of Madrid. With family of 4 you can buy 1 ticket with 10 rides for 12,20 euro. El Corte Ingles has a big supermarket and is 10-15 minutes walking from hotel. Be aware that the sofa bed is smaller than in other Novotel hotels, slightly larger than one single bed. So for h... Read more

It's a hotel away from all happening places. If you are in Madrid to see the city by walk or have less than 48 hrs in Madrid , then please choose other hotels close to city. Approx it takes 20 euro oneway or more for taxi from this hotel. This hotel is close to Airport and 10 min away. Good rooms but too lengthy corridors. Some floor has vending machines but in some floors. Breakfast is average.

Friendly/helpful staff and clean throughout. Convenient (and free) shuttle bus to and from the airport. Decent variety of breakfast and evening meals. Subway located within a few minutes walk allowing access to downtown Madrid.

Good hotel in a posh neighborhood. Adjacent to metro station. There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.Gym facility within the hotel is nice. Rooms are small but well maintained with all the amenities. Food is average.

This isn't a 5 star, but very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff are very professional and helpful. The restaurant and bar in the lobby is a good place to meet friends and wait around. Overall, good value for the money.

we stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and were very pleased with our choice-initially my husband chose it for the location because it was close to a business convention he was going to, and i went along so that we could spend another couple of days. It is located on the northern outskirts close to the airport and the train station, but a little distance from the city centre. This suited us well as we had taken our bicycles with us and we wanted to explore the countryside. We located a fantasti... Read more

The Novotel Madrid is half on the way from the airport to mx business contacts. The rooms are clean, service is friendly and the breakfast is what I expect to get for the price. As an AFG I appreciated an up-grade to the executive room, thank you ;-) In the evening I enjoyed a relaxing and quite walk in the Parque Juan Carlos, a huge area with art work, among trees and around the artificial lake or river, how ever. Nice place to slow down from a busy day :-) The energy saving lamps in some Novot... Read more

The hotel provides an airport shuttle to and from the hotel every half an hour. If you have to take the metro its connected through the airport, get off at campo de las nasciones and walk about 5 mins, its the hotel after Pullman. Closeby is the Engles corte mall with few restaurants.

If you want a quiet place to stay while visiting Madrid, this is the hotel I recommend. With breakfast included. the price is reasonable. The hotel has a shuttle service to and from all the Madrid airport terminals every 30 minutes. You can catch route 8 from near by metro station, too. The same metro can take up down town for just 1.20 Euro one way ( provided that you buy a 10 trip tickets at 12.2 Euro).

This hotel shares the building with its "pullman-version" cousin. You can actually see the difference from the entrances and public spaces. That is what imho justifies the difference in price. However the corridors moquette woudl need improvement to make it feel more "recent". Despite that the rooms are clean, which in the end is the most important thing - for me. Restaurant menu is average.

I am writing this review during my stay. This hotel has a huge room for improvement in many areas but the fact that in the middle of the summer you can't really control the temperature of your room is outrageous. It is 11 pm and the thermometer in the AC control shows 25 Celsius...on top of that they give you a Nordic blanket that is made for temperatures 20 degrees less than that. I wonder how anyone can sleep with that at this time of the year. I have to say I only stay here because is walking... Read more

My husband and I and our 2 teenage sons stayed here for 5 nights this week whilst my husband was in Madrid on business. It's a lovely friendly hotel which is kept clean and is nice and close to the Metro station. Breakfast has a good choice. The only negative was the pool area. More sun loungers are required and a bit of a general tidy up. It was also annoying that if you wanted a drink you had to go back down to reception ..... not something you want to do in your swimwear when the lobby was of... Read more

Stayed here for a night at the end of our holiday before flying out and it was a clean comfortable hotel with a shuttle to the airport just off the motorway but quiet. A good choice. Nice restaurant and bar. Would stay here again.

The hotel is very much in line with other Novotel's with regard to it's overall presentation and style. The corridors to the bedrooms felt old and should be refurbished. I used the hotel as a base for a short stay in Madrid as it is very handy for the airport (metro - 200 metres away - and free hotel shuttle) plus using the Metro to gain access to the city. It will be for some a little isolated unless you are attending a convention, I knew this, but it is handily placed next to a large park an... Read more

Rooms r not the most modern. Carpets in the room r dirty and worn out. TV connection is not stable. Internet WiFi is not stable and disconnects regularly. Not enough electric sockets in the room for personal electric appliances. Lucky the big park next door is nice as an escape. Company is paying for my stay, personally I'd never spend my own money on this place.

Very well situated (walking distance to the trade fair place) has airport pick up service which is close by. There is a Corte Ingles about a 10 min walk down the road where you can do all the shopping, also the tube station is a minute away. the rooms are clean and normally quiet parking during day or at any show is difficult but has its own privet parking an not a rip off price the staff is very helpful and the restaurant good, breakfast is worth the price. Its in a private street to which you ... Read more

Great hotel, lovely pool. The reception area is clean. The family room was a good size, what made it really good was each child had a bed to sleep on. The quality of food was good. The biggest impact was the helpfulness of one staff member in particular, Jose the hotel manager, who went out of his way to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Shuttle pick up at Airport. Quick journey to hotel. First impressions of lobby & Check in very positive. Really enjoyable stay. Room very good. House keeping staff really helpful-all requests extra pillow etc carried out with great courtesy & enthusiasm. Location ideal for Metro and really enjoyed the many great restaurants located close to the hotel and beside Cortes Del Ingles Department Store. Hotel swimming pools very good with very polite lifeguards. GREAT STAY !!.

This is your typical airport hotel. Close to the airport, convenient, nothing really to enjoy or take part of nearby but decent in all regards. A little less inviting than the neighboring Pullnan hotel, but also less pricey. If you want something near the airport, this is a solid bet. If you want to have easier access to Madrid centro than maybe look for something more central.

This is a great hotel for layover in Madrid. Free shuttle service from the airport, driver was very helpful with luggage. As most Novotels it is clean and has all the basic necessities. The great location allows you to walk a short distance to the Metro and get into the centre of Madrid in 30 minutes. Staff were very helpful.

While on business travel, I had to stay at the Novotel as it's close to the office (walking distance). The reception and lobby are good and inviting, the rooms are OK for not spending too much time there. The restaurant doesn't have a wide variety to chose from which was a bit disappointing especially since in the area there aren't that many restaurants. Housekeeping is very friendly and they do a good job. There is a swimming pool available, but unfortunately it was already closed even though t... Read more
