Stayed at NH Suecia for my birthday weekend with friends. We arrived late in the evening but were nevertheless welcomed to the hotel and shown to our room. This hotel is modern and fresh throughout. The highlight includes the rooftop bar, which is perfect on a sunny day and offers great views over the city. The DJ plays hip music and the drinks are nice as well. The rooms are quite spacious with a nice powerful shower, however, it is located in the room and one can see the person showering in th... Read more

NH Madrid Suecia is located very close to the main tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a roof top bar and also has great views of Madrid. You can walk to most museums.

What a lovely hotel, great location for a city break, getting to and from the airport is very easy, either by bus (directly outside the airport arrivals for 5 euro into the main station) metro, taxi 30 euro if in a hurry. There are plenty of restaurants bars nearby, close to the old town so easy to find on foot just minutes away. a lovely hotel, great breakfast, very modern, clean with great staff I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay. the rooftop bar has the best views of ... This hotel is very central in the old part of Madrid. The hotel rooms are modern and have everything you need including a large well stocked mini bar and great bathroom. The front of house staff were stunning especially Carlos. Don't forget to visit the roof top bar which has stunning views. You are very close to the Plaza Mayor and Oriente. Within walking distance of great historical buildings and als shops and restaurants.

Overall, this is a nice and pleasant hotel. However, I think that it is a bit overpriced for what it offers. To the negative side, the double bed is not real double but two single beds one next to each other. Also, the open storage space was a bit awkard. To the positive, the hotel is clean and it has a superb roof garden, which is only a bar. I would recommend the hotel offers some food, snacks etc. or at least the room service menu on the roof garden. I would have liked to have that oppportuni... Read more

The Hotel is quite nice, in a very quiet street next to a theatre Circulo de Bellas artes and near Banco de España. Its location is great because you are in a 5/10 minutes walking distance to the commercial and cultural areas, like: Gran Via, Barrio de Salamanca, Museums of Reina Sofia, Prado and Thyssen and others. The only minus we found in the Hotel were; 1) in the bathroom not having a handle in the shower and; 2) the lack of fresh bread at breakfast. Overall the experience was good, room... Read more

From the lobby to the room and the rooftop; this hotel is stylish and in a great location of the core of Madrid. walking distance to museum; old Madrid (Plaza Mayor), Sol and Chueca. Feel like a walk in the Retiro? You can walk there too. The room was functional and nicely appointed, and the shower was magnificent. The only minor complaint is the breakfast buffet: too pricey for what I wanted to eat and what my company covers for a day of meals travelling. Step out of the hotel and find tons of ... Read more

Been here mid. June for a short trip with friends. We really enjoyed Madrid and staying in NH Suecia made it even better. The hotel is perfectly located in a quite sidestreet of the center with only a short walk to metro or cityCenter. We had adjoining rooms with great views overlooking a part of the city. The breakfast in the morning was a treat and the hotel staff was amazing. From the f&b staff at breakfast to the employees serving at the rooftopbar. Special thanks to Lara, Javier and Carlos... I used to come here a lot in 2015. The rooms are good except the ones oriented to the inside of the building (unfortunately quite usual in Madrid). The rooftop is great to take some drinks but the so called "swimming pool" is a joke (50cm deep and 80cm wide...). The breakfast is good.

Very nice hotel in a great location between the parks, art galleries and the city centre. A short walk to anywhere you need to be. Spotlessly clean, great modern design, fantastic breakfast although the room was a bit cold in the morning. The staff were excellent. Highly recommend!

Nice and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Breakfast buffet is also well done. Rooms are small but nicely appointed. Not sure why Spanish hotels do not give you an iron but insist that you sent things out to be ironed. Even the most basic hotel in the US gives you and iron and ironing board. Staff here is very nice and attentive.
