This hotel was in a great area, it was walking distance to almost all the main attractions in Madrid. Our flight arrived very early and we got to the hotel at 9:30am and didn't get a room until 2pm, they did give us champagne and we were able to relax on the couches in the lobby. The breakfast in the morning was great, the room was nice with a nice bathroom/bathtub, and the staff was super friendly I would definitely stay here again!

As others have said, perfect location. The rooms are comfy and quiet- even those overlooking Grand Via as ours was. Breakfast is sumptuous and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Don't overlook the ground floor bar which serves very good value drinks and light meals. Great place!

We came to Madrid for a two day break and found this Hotel via Tripadvisor. On all fronts it came out trumps. Perfectly located on the Gran Via in the heart of the city- walking to everywhere was a pleasure. Surrounded by shops, cafes and bars and restaurants and yet quiet and peaceful within the hotel. ideal. Our room, on the 6th floor was a little on the small side but still good, with a v good large well equipped bathroom - including bath robes, slippers and good toiletries. The beds were... Read more

The hotel is located right in the middle of all the Central Madrid attractions, Gran Via, the Palace and Prado etc. However, I was amazed how quiet my room was despite the busiest avenue of the city in front of it. Ask for a room facing the "well" if you're after good sleep, just make sure there's no elevator nearby - those you can feel. The staff is helpful, the bathroom is very nice and appropriately supplied, the beds are very cozy. Recommended to all visitors

The hotel location is definitely what I was looking for - walking distance to shops, restaurants and must-see locations in Madrid. The facilities are well kept and the room is neat and tidy. The bathroom is so much bigger than most hotels we've stayed at in Europe.

Along Gran Via, walking to all shops. Rooms great, clean and comfortable. Double rooms with balcony is a good size. Walking to Puerta Del Sol, where there is more shops and restaurants. Taxi, bus and Hop On/Off are accessible anytime. Hotel staff helpful. Would stay again and recommend to anyone who will visit Madrid.

Great location! We were upgraded to an exterior room which was very nice of Maria Jesus at the reception desk. The room was very clean and well appointed. Despite being on the very busy street it was a very quiet room. Albeit very small, the room was manageable in size. The hotel lobby is lovely with plenty of comfortable seating space. Offering of wine at check in was a nice touch, as was the complimentary 'candy bar' on the bar!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Short walk to the Atocha and to the Prado and other museums. Room was small but clean and the bath was spacious and well-appointed. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is extremely well located on Gran Via, easy walking to many destinations in the city. Our room was actually a suite with very high ceilings and a balcony and a large terrace. It faced the street but was still quiet. Bed is very comfortable. Towels are abundant and plush. Separate tub and shower within a large glass enclosure. Double sinks. Breakfast is fine. Nothing special. No orange marmalade which seems strange to me. There is a very quaint wire cage elevator in addition t... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was small but the bathroom large. The closet lacked space but we were able to use the huge shelf under the very long counter in the bath to place our folded clothes. We had zippered packing cubes which worked perfectly. The best part of this hotel was the location on Gran Via. We literally walked to just about everything from the Grand Palace, to the wonderful museums, and the many lively squares. The hotel service clerk was extremely helpful in pro... Read more
