The staff were so friendly and when we ordered cocktails that they had never heard of, they looked up how to make them and produced something excellent! Oh and to top it off, it's really well decced out with some beautiful touches. Well worth a visit!

The hotel is right in Gran Via next to Malasaña and Chueca full of amazing bars and shops. Very close to Círculo de las Bellas Artes (5min walk) if you feel like doing something arty. Also is very well connected with buses and metro. I can't describe how beautiful is the lobby of the hotel. The room was very spacious and cozy. We loved the decoration in it. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Definitely going back next time I'm in Madrid!

We spent 3 nights in this hotel on a recent city break. The hotel staff were very welcoming and pleasant and greeted us with Cava on arrival. The hotel has a nice lobby and bar area to have a drink and a snack. The hotel room was quite small but well equipped with a mini fridge, safe etc. Breakfast was great with a good selection of cooked and continental food items.

Really lovely hotel with great staff in a fab location. Stylish and welcoming with tasteful art deco styling. Rooms not huge but very well appointed and furnished. Fantastic base for a few days close to the bustling chueca quarter and within walking distance of some brilliant tapas bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.

An excellent hotel in the heart of the city, fairly close to many of the attractions. We booked here literally last minute - walk in/check in! Maria at the reception deserves a special mention. She checked us in very smoothly and quickly and maintained the same high level of service thru the 3 days we spent there. Room facing Gran Via needless to say, has a good view. The rooms are smallish but cozy and have Nespresso machine, making tea/coffee easy and free. They even have free Cava at the rece... Read more

The single room was quite small. Very clean, great service. Don't expect too much from the lobby bar, inexperienced bargirl. On the Gran Via, by the new Casino of Madrid and a lot of good fast food in the neighborhood. Ideal if you are looking for standard shopping, Zara, H&M, Corte Inglés and so on.

Stayed for two nights as a couple for a birthday weekend. Pros: The check in was easy and a complimentary glass of champagne for each guest never hurts :) The decor in the lobby bar is modern and inviting. The location is excellent. The hotel is close to many attractions and shopping. They offer a morning coffee and croissant service in the lobby which was a great add-on. The room and hotel were clean as well; full set of bathroom amenities too! Cons: The room was small... Like it's difficult... Read more

We stayed here for a few days and then returned at the end of our trip for a few more days. When we arrived after flying all night, our room was not ready yet(8:00am) but they gave us a glass of Cava and we relaxed in the lobby until our room was ready at 10. Our room was 511, very nice size with a nice balcony patio. Bathroom was lovely. Very quiet room. Breakfast was fine for a small boutique hotel. Location brilliant. . RED TOUR BUS STOPS OUTSIDE. Lots of shops restaurants close by. The hotel is very charming and it has a beautiful lobby. Our only negative was the room and double bed were too small. The bed was on castors and moved too easily on the wooden floors.Had to put rug under it to stop it. Buffet breakfast was great, staff were helpful. Pity about the room. Maybe not all the rooms are the same. We didn't sleep well.

We stayed 4 nights in room 104 which overlooked the Grand Via. Even though it faced the busy street, the room was quiet at night. Being on the first floor allowed us to use the stairs, so I can't speak to the speed or frequency of the elevators, The double bed was extra firm and on wheels so it moved easily. The bathroom was generously supplied with many travel conveniences (see picture) along with thick terry robes and slippers. The shower was outstanding once we figured out how to work it. A g... Stayed here 3 nights. Comfortable and clean. Nice lounge area for quiet contemplation away from the scorching heat outside. Good breakfast choices. Staff pleasant. Room cupboard size with lots of strategically placed windows to take away claustrophobic feeling and had a view of a shaft. So far away from daylight we slept in second day thinking it was still night when in fact it was 9am. Could be a plus as a I imagine a street view would be very noisy. Reasonable breakfast selection but for the hot food there was not a great choice. Internal air conditioned room so no windows but was quiet at night. Noisy cleaners so no siesta! So, as was the case with our trip in Spain, we loved the people, everybody was very friendly, with a few exceptions. This hotel was great in terms of staff, promptness etc., but, the rooms....really not good. For a double bed, they had basically rolled two single beds with rollers. And they kept moving around at night, as the roller had locks that did not work. We had two rooms, was the case in both. So, based on that, I would say, if you value a good night's rest, avoid.

This hotel has a very accommodating staff that will go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and contains most anything you would likely want. In the heart of the city easy walking distance to shopping and plenty of tapas bars close to the hotel. We stayed here as part of a tour and had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. The lobby bar was fun and had a great assortment of cocktails and wine. We bought a bottle of wine at a nearby shop and the bartender opened the bottle for us and sent wine glasses with us since we wanted to enjoy our wine in our room. I hope to return and stay at this hotel again.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel in July and couldn't fault the location, within easy walking distance of shops, lovely bars and restaurants. The room was clean, well equipped and quiet, only down side was that it appeared to be an inside room therefore no view but that could be our fault for not asking for a move/upgrade...must query the ''Nescafe'' comment as we had a Nespresso machine with pods which sounds more upmarket even if made by Nescafe. Nice hotel, pretty inside. Some quaint features like the old lift with the cage door you have to pull across. Staff were nice at check in. Room was a decent size with French windows overlooking the busy street outside. Paintings appear to be a feature in all of the rooms, some of which were a bit creepy. Noticed some travellers said it was too noisy to sleep but we had no problems. Would recommend this place, lots of good tapas places nearby too.

Beautifully renovated building into a boutique hotel with all the features. Clean crisp rooms, we'll equipped bathrooms and quaint elevator (and an updated one as well).
