Stayed 9 days with 5 family members. 2 rooms; one double, the other triple. Both clean with comfy beds and pillows, 7th floor. Always with clean towels, good hosekeeping and service. Mini bar (surcharge) with water, soda, beer, snacks and little botles of hard liquor. At first impresion sounds expensive but after a long walk and tired, we used it. Very covenience in case of emergency. Three elevators, very small but fast. It looks that Europe have a special dimensions for elevators. The breakfa... Read more

My wife and i stayed there twice for 3 or 4 days each time. I enjoyed both. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Front desk was very helpful. Mustapha was the best. Great guy with the best info and guidance. The location worked out wonderfully. Next to train station, on an easy bus route, next to Retiro Park and close to many attractions. Would stay there again if we go back.

Very good location: just 15 min walk from Atocha train station, 20-30 min walk to Prado museum, many cafes around the train station and along the street, location close to the Grand Via,Retro Park etc. at the same time - hotel is on a quite, nice, clean street. Room is comfortable, clean.

Visted Madrid as a solo traveller and wanted something close to atocha rail station. It was that however probably the wrong side and there is very little else around the hotel. Upon check in I was allocated an awful room. No bigger than a postage stamp with a tiny window looking out onto a brick wall. Claustrophobic is not the word. Having paid for a room with a view I promptly returned to reception however instead of apologies felt I was being a troublemaker when asking to switch rooms. They d... Read more

Charming hotel near the railway station Atocha. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a reasonable breakfast. The magnificent Retiro Park on the doorstep. Our room was on the quiet side, but the soundproofing was pretty bad.

Good location. Good service. We needed somewhere close to the station and we walked every where. We booked with breakfast and this was a good move. Otherwise it would have cost 15 euros each. Still quite good value even so. What more to say? I would book again.

We stayed 3 nights and were generally pleased both by the value and convenient location. It is even within walking distance(but not easily with luggage) of Atocha. The Sophia, Botanical Gardens, and Spanish Pantheon were also nearby. Prado, Thyssen, and Retiro are more like a 30 minute walk but doable. Unfortunately, the singing plumbing and slow elevators keep it short of the 4 stars they claim. The breakfast is varied and good and the staff is helpful at all times.

We stayed here for 5 nights and when we turned up outside I was a little worried as it didn't look fantastic... However when we walked in it was just what we hoped for, check in was quick and even though we arrived a few hours early, our connecting rooms were ready for us. They were spacious and very clean, with 35 degrees C outside, the air conditioning and free wifi was fantastic! The hotel is a little out of central Madrid and unfortunately the main Metro line 1 was closed into Madrid (not th... Read more

Normally this is a pleasant enough hotel, conveniently situated near to Atocha station & the three great museums. The internal rooms are a bit dark, but they are perfectly clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast is terrific. HOWEVER there arevvery noisy roadworks going on at the moment, immediately outside the front of the hotel. This, combined with the closure of the nearest metro station (Atocha, until at least September), means that it might be worth looking at other options for a whi... Read more

We choose this hotel because of its close proximity to the station and also not too far from the airport. It is neat hotel and bit small as we had taken three bed room.Quite cramped for that . But staff is very helpful and hotel is clean
