Stayed last week in May and had a great time staying here. Was very apprehensive after reading the reviews but couldn't fault much at all. We stayed in block A, our apartment was basic (decor needing an update) but it was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Only thing about the rooms would be at height of season the fan would not be enough to keep you cool. The pool and play areas for our 4year old were excellent, and staff couldn't b more helpful. Will definitely return.

In our last night here of our weeks stay. Pool and grounds can't be faulted. There's a non official segregation between kids pools and the deeper pool where adults and couples spend their days which is nice. Pool bar is reasonably priced and food is nice to have dinner at. Rooms are what lets this place down. We stayed in A110 and furniture and rooms are dated and in need of major upgrading. Beds were rock hard and room had no air con and fan they give us just stopped it being unbearable. ?21 ... Read more

For the cheap holiday, we were very surprised with the lovely service we got. Staff always had smile on their face. Rooms were very clean, but what appreciate most was the entertainment for the kids. I didn't cost anything and there was always something going on, plus there is lovely pool with couple of slides. So I was pleased and my little boy was pleased as well.

Just got back from a 10 day holiday here. This is the ryan air of hotels. You get the basics but have to pay for everything else..ie. fans, TV, etc. WiFi, is 20 euros a week per phone or tablet. No discount for more than one so could end up costing quite a lot. Very basic rooms. Need updating. Did not think much of the buffet either. Good selection but rarely warm let alone hot. On the plus side the pools and location are great. The best food is from the poolside bar and restaurant. On th... Read more

We were handed the keys to our apartment and told where it was. We found it to be round the back and behind another row of apartments hence no view and as it turns out the patio was never in the sun. The rooms were smelly, dark and very dated. All the wooden furniture had ring marks on them and should have been thrown in a skip years ago. This was a 10 day holiday. 5 adults one child. The pool was shut three days into the holiday for 4 days which was annoying for maintenance, in August the busiest month probably! It was the water slide pool also, so a few disappointed children! You are opposite literally the water park, personally it is nothing special! The hotel in its self is clean, the rooms where clean an the Pizzeria was also clean! The life guard at the pool is pointless, he plays Water polo, has a drink in the shade, chat... Read more

We stayed here in room A220 6th -13th September. Half board. On arrival to the complex we were delighted as we requested an upper floor room with a pool view which we had got. Room itself was reasonable ok sized,in need of a paint as walls were grubby, nice lounge with balcony, kitchenette was small 2 hobs and a sink, bathroom(needs updating) was small with 1 tiny shelf for all your bits and pieces. BEDROOM: was very small with 2 single beds. 1 of which was like a sheet of concrete. S... Read more

We are staying next week in a one bed apartment with our just turned one year old son. Would upper or lower level be best? Where abouts are the refurbished rooms. Which block? Any tips about bringing nappies/formula. Does the supermarket nearby stock all this? Thanks (also, are you able to buy inflatables for the pool there). - sorry for questions, I don't go on holidays ??

Well what a lovely place this is. The staff are nice and friendly. And if you do have a complaint about anything please speak to them as you would like to spoken too and not all angry, and things get sorted when people have manners. We requested a room on the upper floor with pool view and wasn't disappointed they fulfilled our request. Cleaned every day n towels changed etc. Plenty of sun beds so no need to panic about getting one. The pool area aways clean. The snack bar at the pool did some n... Read more

Sheets changed once per week. Towels twice. Food ok but NO variety.NO AIR CONDITIONING. Pool dirty which may have been cause of so many people getting really sick. Staff totally unconcerned and unhelpful regarding amount of poorly people having to lay down in rreception to await pickup on last day, they insisted we all vacate our rooms. No entertainment for adults. Couldn't wait to get home.

We booked privately through Holiday Lettings for a one bedroom apartment and not via the hotel or a travel company. In this way we were able to see the exact position of the apartment we would be staying in, which was very conveniently situated in Block A, frontline, near the pools, pool bar, restaurant, etc. This process was relatively trouble free and the owner of the apartment was very quick to confirm our booking and make contact with us. He also sent a little video showing the complex... Read more

This was my partner's and i's 1st holiday together and booked a double bed, on arrival we were allocated our room which was on the ground floor where the sun didn't go plus the panto was a walk through for the other apartment's, once in the apartment i checked it out only to see 2 single bed's. I went back to the reception and explained that we requested a double bed to be sharply told by the older female receptionist that there isn't any double bed's in any of the room's and never has been in ... We as a family stayed peak time. Beware no Air Con! We were provided with one fan and had to pay for another as there were 5 of us. The pool was good but salty so kids need goggles. The over enthusiastic lifeguard took my large towel from my sunbed on the first day and plonked with a load of others even though I was not away from the bed for long. As a result someone else picked up my towel and I had to buy another one! Be prepared for large unpleasant cockroaches coming into apartment in evenin... Read more

Just returned from 10 day stay. Had a few problems with the room on arrival, fan not working and bed settee broken, but these were rectified straight away. With this being our second visit with a 7 year gap we asked go be moved to the upper floor where we stayed previously. We were told to ask the next day and we're given a room straight away. The apartments are basic but adequate and are in need of an update as they are decorated the same as the last time we visited. The facilities are excell... Read more

We're just back after a week's stay at the Oasis Dunas Apartments Corralejo.. Firstly I'd like to say thanks to the reception staff there who gave us the apartment overlooking the pool exactly as requested.. The location of this complex is excellent, across the road from the water park and the markets, and just a short walk to the top of the main street where all the shops, bars & restaurants are, also close to town beach.. they've got great swimming pools and sunbed area, was always lots of roo... We had some very bad experiences on vacation in various places and decided to return to Corralejo and the Dunas. we've stayed here many times and never were we disappointed.we went self catering as Corralejo is renowned for it's many fine restaurants and you're spoiled for choice. The bars are great (as we Irish say 'craic ) meaning fun and laughter and before long you're one of the crowd, our favourites are Finnegans and Murphys, Mick & brother Dave in Finnegans and Lynda in Murphys will make s... A good location within the resort was the only good thing about the hotel.First impression of the hotel being tired was confirmed in reception and throughout. Poolside beds that were not broken were hard to find. The room was badly needing refurbishment. The beds were really poor not helped by the bed linen also having seen better days. Kitchen facilities were adequate but the couch was not fit for purpose in the living area. The veranda lacked any privacy and was not cleaned or swept clean once... Read more

Hotel has large saltwater pools with children's slides . Accommodation is good but dated. Very clean and tidy with lovely staff. Not far from main Street. The harbour is quite a walk but we did it every day.

I stayed in Oasis Dunas for my first family holiday. The location is quite good with the Corralejo main strip a few minutes walk away. The harbour and Spanish square a little further or a quick, cheap taxi ride away. Good beaches are a short walk away and local supermarkets, shops etc are within a couple minutes walk. I will return to Corralejo as it's very family friendly, reasonably priced with nice beaches and plenty of nightlife without being rowdy. The hotel reception is staffed by ladies w... Read more

Though I agree with some of the comments made in the negative reviews, I think that some people go out of their way to find fault, instead of making the most of their holiday. The hotel is absolutely fine, and definately good value based on what we paid through Jet2 Holidays. Reception was organised and we were in our room within ten minutes of arrival. A bit dated, but clean and tidy which is what we wanted and expected. TV didnt work but was fixed very quickly after a visit to reception. Pools... Read more
