We have just returned from a few days in this hotel where we've stayed several times before. Half board, we feel is really good value, food is lovely. Sea view is well worth the extre expense. On arrival we found the room very hot & asked about air con. we were told that there was only heating available at this time as the Spanish still feel that it's cold!! Just leave the window open was the advice! As in a lot of European hotels a double was two single beds pushed together. Would prefer a pr... Read more

Didn't want to give this hotel a good review because the more people that go may make it harder to get a room next time I book. where do I start we got a double sea view which is a must as its so close to the sea we stayed half board breakfast wast excellent as was the staff evening meal was great good variety everyday better than most places I've stayed half board before fresh fish or meat cooked in front of you every night plus other choices toiletries supplied in room down to razors tooth bru... The living room is new and you are in front of the sea. The restaurant is nice, the breakfast simply and little bit expensive for the variety of the buffet (11 EUR). The service of the restaurant was not friendly, as we went with our baby cart the space was limited and they wanted to move us to the "parking views", hopefully my wife found a table at the entrance and we enjoyed the views. The rooms are clean but old, at the end of april without air condition yet. I just recomend for the excelent ... Read more

I have stayed here on a number of occasions now. The atmosphere is always friendly and the staff are welcoming and extremely professional. The food is outstanding; there so much choice every night. The rooms are great and the WIFI actually works (unlike many hotels in Ibiza!) The terrace overlooking Talamanca beach towards Ibiza Town is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine late into the evening. Will be back again for sure.

In Ibiza you find a bit of everything. Expensive places that are ok and low budget places that are surprisingly good. Simbad hotel is open for everyone to come and join the bar on the pool facing the ocean at the talamanca beach. You can walk in for breakfast from 7 AM to 10.30AM . It will coast you ‚?¨11.50 and you can have a table with a view of the sea. It's an amazing buffet service with a cry good quality and variety of cold and hot food. Freshly squeezed orange juice that actually happens... Read more

I've visited the Talamanca area on several occasions and really love the tranquil setting. The hotel was clean throughout with a lovely terrace looking out across the bay. The rooms were basic, with a key safe (3 euros per day) and a small fridge stocked with water and cans of non alcoholic drinks. The bathroom was fine and everything worked well. The maid came daily to make the beds and deliver clean towels. I found the bed comfortable and the travel cot for our baby in good condition. The air ... Read more

Great location - quiet, great views but still walking distance to Ibiza Old town (take the little ferry to cut the walk in half, every 15 mins, ‚?¨4 return). Hotel is fairly good - rooms are basic but clean. Hotel staff a bit mixed - reception and breakfast staff particularly unfriendly. Go to Sa Punta for dinner.

We just "had to" stay for 3 nights at Hotel Simbad due to an overbooking of the hotel be originally booked, since everything else was booked out, we took the offer of the travel agency and stayed at Hotel Simbad. But if you have the choice: Don't ever come here, the staff is most unfriendly, especially on the reception, zero helpful and chose to ignore you and have a chat when you stand there waiting for assistance. If you get their attention, they constantly seem annoyed and are really, really ... Read more

The Simbad has super views across the bay and of Ibiza old town. It is located at the far end of the bay with a pleasant board walk around the bay. It is near the SA Punta restaurant and the Fish shack. Rooms are fine, with super views from the balcony. Breakfast was good, with plenty of fresh fruit and squeezed orange juice. We enjoyed our stay.

Was very slightly dubious after reading some reviews but hotel, views and area all excellent. Rooms are slightly dated but very practical, big wardrobes, comfy bed and good bathroom. Arrived to disappointment that we did not have a sea view until next day but this was sorted very quickly early next morning. It is worth having a sea view and would recommend that everyone books one as stunning views over the bay with Ibiza town clearly visible. Breakfast excellent and staff very friendly.

This hotel is a great base for exploring the island! It's close to Ibiza town and a short taxi to other areas! It's a quiet hotel so not for the party animals! The reception area is modern decorated and the bar is lovely and relaxing with gorgeous views of the Dalt Villa! The bedrooms are a bit dated but immaculately clean! Be sure to get a sea view room - it's worth it!

The hotel itself it's nice, nice reception and bar area. Rooms were ok but could do with a little update, definitely not 4 star more like 3. Big selling point is the view, beautiful view of Ibiza including the old town. Food is ok, good choice but quality isn't great. Definitely just go for B&B. Main let down at this hotel is the reception staff, just seemed like they didn't care! They feel that they don't need make any effort with their guests, just simply answer the questions you ask. Hotel staff doesn't Carr about customer: mini frigo bar was not working, we complain and ask to be fixed for 3 times, they didn't care. Also every morning before 10am they knock at your door to get your room cleaned. A lot of noise from furniture and doors as well. If you'ré in vacations and want some peace, avoid this place.

Location stunning - 3km from old Ibiza town. Well within walking distance. That is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. We stayed 8th till 15th Sept. room 236. Bathroom wall tiles had a massive crack about 3mm diameter the full length of the wall. Very dangerous. It was siliconed when we complaIned. The entrance and restaurant to the hotel is very elegant - the rooms are very tired...The reason we wont be back isnt because of the "tiredness" of the decor - it is because of the com... Read more

We had 3 nights here in early September and it wasn't long enough! The location is stunning - right on the sea with a beautiful pool that looks out over the bay. Plenty of sun beds and parasols to use. Breakfast buffet for 11.50 euros was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice and omelette station and the rooms are nice with stunning sea views and balcony. You can see Ibiza Old Town across the water and its 10 minutes walk along the beach boards to the water taxi to take you into Ibiza... Read more

Hotel is in a great location on Talamanca Bay and the view from the balcony is great however that is pretty much where the positives end. Staff are unfriendly not even wishing good morning in the breakfast room, where breakfast is decidedly average, repetitive and with limited choice. Bedrooms are dated with cheap toiletries in sachets and no robes though they are clean and there are complementary soft drinks in the fridge though we weren't told they were free. There is a charge for the hotel ... Read more

Friends and my husband and I returned on the 9th September after a weeks holiday the hotel is great rooms large and kept very clean bar area and reception lovely bar staff very helpful we only went B&B which was great as food really good, there are lots of lovely small restaurants all along the beach a different one every night. It is a taxi ride away from Ibiza Town which you have to experience at night sitting at a café watching the clubbers go by Would recommend for adults you can have it ... Read more

The hotel is just 10-15 mins away from the airport. It's got amazing beach view and a decent swimming pool. The food was good enough. The only problem was that the rooms were bit old fashioned and had the water smell. I guess that can be ignored. Nice place to live and all the major attraction are not too far off! Would prefer staying if I'm coming back!
