Stayed here for 2 nights, check in was quick, friendly and efficient Rooms were clean, beds comfy, spacious and clean bathroom with fresh soft towels and a great shower Rooftop bar caters for your every need, it is a lovely sun trap with a pool and plenty of seating areas both in the open and the shade Location of hotel is excellent, a mere 10 mins walk to the harbour front and 5 mins to the main shopping area Breakfast was amazing, plenty of selection and a huge variety of fruit, breads and pas... Booked this hotel last minute for some much needed sunshine in April, great location, a 10 minute ride in a taxi from the airport, less than a 5 minute walk to the harbour! The pool area is fantastic, secluded and peaceful area, with great attentive bar staff. The food menu is limited but is very good, with local produce and great flavours! They also have a cocktail menu which was good. The rooms are lovely and clean, however they are dated and could do with refurbishing to bring them up to da... Read more

This hotel is in a good location - it's not the nicest location but it's only a 5 minute walk to the old town and the harbour. The rooms are nice and clean and on the large side. There's a roof top pool which is nice although we visited in late March so there were not any other guests up there. The breakfast was great - lots of choice. All in all we got a really great price to stay here and it was in a great location and had everything we could need for a short trip.

It has been a very good hotel, with a huge double room used as single room, and a very good breakfast menù in the morning. The fitness room is small but the last floor is provided with swimming pool and bar.

If you're looking to not spend too much on your hotel but get above the budget price bracket, and want plenty of facilities and want to stay in Ibiza Town itself then this is a very good bet. The hotel location is an easy walk to amenities (even if it isn't the prettiest part of town), bus stops, marina, Dalt Vila etc. There is also a very large car-park right next to the hotel which is useful if you have a car. The room and the bathroom were clean and well appointed. I wasn't surprised that th... Read more

Because we were invited for a wedding at Ibiza we had to search for a payable hotel not far from the Old City. How happy we felt during our 4-days stay in the Royal Plaza: nice rooms, good breakfast, possibilty to park the car (only small ones and not allways available) every day in the garage for free, a nice swimmingpool at the roof and very nice and professional staff! Last but not least: it was quiet!

After visiting Ibiza at least six times I decided this time I wanted to explore Ibiza Town and its surrounding area. Beautiful area and very upmarket and a pleasing change to my San Antonio Bay visits.

Came with a group of friends on a birthday trip. Hotel was only 5 mins from Marina and old town. Really nice relaxing pool area. Comfortable and clean and friendly staff. Free wi-fi and room safe. Only thing was breakfast wasn't included which would have expected for price.

I booked a single room for an overnight stop over, the room was very clean and the free wifi was a bonus. Unfortunately the bed was way too hard so I got very little sleep. It would have been nice to get some food upon arrival however nothing was available until 8.30pm and nothing on the menu appealed to me. The best thing about the hotel must be how friendly the staff were, 100% for being warm & welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It is a few streets back from all the noise and fun but this is within an easy walk. The only thing that isn't within an easy walk is the beach, which isn't that nice when you get there anyway (being from Australia we have pretty high expectations for beaches). If you want to go to a nicer beach you'll need to hire a car or take a taxi. Having said that we loved how close the hotel was to the marina and we enjoyed the hotels rooftop pool where friendly ... We needed somewhere for an overnight stop before catching our flight in the small hours. This is what I would regard as a "base camp" hotel. If you're going to be in and out and mainly using it to just sleep then it's absolutely perfect. Good size room, comfy bed and it also has some nice touches. Black out curtains, very decent air con and of course free wifi. But most surprisingly it was quiet- sure there's a bit of rumble from the traffic etc but to be honest you could barely hear it. I was a... Read more

We stayed at RPH last week for two nights. We chose it as it was our first visit to Ibiza and were happy with the location of this hotel just a couple of streets away from the main town. It was about a 15 minute ride from the airport. Check in was professional and swift. We were directed to our room and it was spacious and basic. It was okay for us as we did not plan to spend time in our room. The view from the balcony was directly to the apartments opposite, which meant we had to close the ... Read more

We had a great week at this hotel. A mixture of tourists and businessmen. Also a few pilots etc thrown in as well. It was full but no jostling for space around the rooftop pool. Good breakfast. I had fried eggs and smoked salmon all week. Ask for room on high floor facing the car park and views over the harbour. Evening meals were good with lovely staff especially Carlos. Beaches a long way away from the town. You can get a bus 5 mins walk from the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants easy walk... Read more

With views of the enormous car park and washing drying on nearby appartment balconies, the Royal Plaza might on the surface appear to be the Fawlty Towers of Ibiza. But don't be deceived. This is the best hotel on the island. The rooms are quiet, unassailed by Trainee DJ's or screaming children, the curtains block out the sun, the aircon works, the showers work, the staff are wonderful, the roof top pool with its views of Ibiza old town (5 minutes walk away) is just gorgeous. This is my second stay at the hotel. Nothing much has changed really. And that's a shame, because it's certainly time for some change! The hotel is stuck in the past wasting money on unusual amenities like custom packaged tissues in the bathroom. This money could much better be spent upgrading the rooms. The beds and pillows are absolutely horrible. I wasn't able to get one bit of sleep! The walls are paper thin, you can literally hear everything that's happening out there. And in my case tha... Having just returned from a second stay at the Royal Plaza, I know I will stay here again. The main reason being the lovely roof top swimming pool. There are not many loungers but seemingly enough as most people probably head for the beach during the day. Towels are provided, the loungy music is relaxing and drinks can be ordered as from 11:30. The pool opens at 10h and closes at 20h. The staff in the restaurant are very professional but above all, they are friendly and nice. The food is a also ... Read more

The location and price made us got for this hotel in the centre of Ibiza. We were a bit unsure as to what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel and décor is a bit dated, but nothing unbearable! The rooms were very clean and breakfast was fantastic! I would definitely come back!

My friend and I booked to stay at the Royal Plaza and only chose this hotel as there wasn't much else on offer around Ibiza town, as it's a busy time of year. I booked directly with the hotel as I think you get better options when there are no commissions or referral fees involved. Anyway, I made a request for early check-in 11:30/noon via the hotels website under "special requests" I received an email from the hotel the day before asking if there was anything else they could help me with? The room was a very nice size with a large balcony. There is free parking but very limited spaces be aware. The rooftop pool is great and there is also a small workout room on the roof. The location is cant miss being near to the port with easy access to everywhere on the island. Some of the staff were not quite up to par in my opinion for the price but overall the stay was great.
