Located in the downtown area parking is always an issue, but they do have their garage available across the street, the thing we liked is that its locked, so our car was safe. The location is within an easy walk to main areas, and a bus to take you to Alhambra. Plenty of restaurants and shops around. Room 15 was very clean super big, it was like a small apartment. Breakfast was very good and it was brought to your room at your designated time, we thought it was a nice touch. Bed and pillows ver... Read more

I recently travel to Granada with my cousin's family and stayed here. The rooms were great, the beds were comfortable. The in house breakfast was very good. The staff speak limited English so be prepared to speak some Spanish. We walked to all the sights from the hotel and felt very safe.

What a lovely hotel and staff! Very comfortable room and bed. Staff was wonderful. We had a car and even though we found the hotel we couldn't find where to park. Finally figured it out but it was not easy. We should have asked ahead of time. There is a free walking tour of old Granada that picks up at hotel that was a benefit

So easy and comfortable. Spacious and well located. Comfy sofa bed. We ate at the little cafe down the street and brought our own wine and snacks to the room. The staff couldn't be nicer. It was a great stay. My only negative comment was that the wifi was awful. The hotel needs more routers. Otherwise it was fabulous.

We stayed here for 1 night in April during out road trip through Spain and thought it was great! It's in a prime location right on the main street and has everything you need for a good stay. Unfortunately we didn't utilise the apartment as we were only here 1 night, our travel agent booked it as she got a good deal, but it would be perfect if you needed to use it. They have secure parking in a garage behind the Apartments for I think it was ?15 per day but if you're lucky you can get free str... Read more

The suites are very spacious and deliver all the comfort needed. Very clean bathroom with large shower. 2 televisions and a safe. nice kitchen and a lot of storage space. Located in the main street of Granada. A 5 minutes walk from the centre, cathedral and shops. Don't forget to visit the famous Alhambra. If you stay at Suites Gran Via 44 the helpdesk can get tickets for the visit.

I stayed here with 3 friends in May 2016. The location is superb and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and it was wonderful to be able to stay altogether in a room (most of the other stops the 4 of us had to get two separate rooms). My only frustration with Suites Gran Via 44 was that the credit card machine was broken when we were trying to check out and I had to take out the money to pay for our room at an atm (which resulted in pretty high fees).

Three of us shared a 2 bedrom apartment very comfortably, and enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine too. The location is very central and we found the nearby parking station with assistance of excellent directions from the property. But their strength is their staff, most particularly Carmen who was amazingly supportive and practical when my husband had a medical situation requiring hospitalisation. We would have been lost without her.

This hotel deserves all the rave. It is in a great location, within 10 minutes by foot of all the sights. The rooms are usually suites. Ours had a full kitchen. The beds have memory foam mattresses and down blankets. The toilets have a very funky bidet function which my husband and I loved to play with - worked well!! WiFi was good! The staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant reservations, etc. The safe was big enough for our lap tops! The parking is in a private garage and costs 20 ... Read more

The room was excellent, large and clean with a small kitchen. The location was central and within walking distance to everything we did while in Granada. The front desk had rates listed that were very high, but we booked several months in advance and paid significantly less than those rates. I would highly recommend this location if you can get the lower rates, but even then this is a great property.

The hotel is a short walk to the bus to the Alhambra, the Cathedral and several good restaurants. Our family had three suites, all on the same floor. Great location within easy walking distance of everything you'll need, including some of those old fashion bars that provide delicious free tapas with a round of drinks. Superb suites, friendly helpful staff and breakfast brought to your suite every morning to add a touch of holiday decadence. A little pricey but location and quality mean still good value.

This is an excellent place to stay. I don't think they call it a hotel because it doesn't have its own restaurant. They call it Suites, but it functions, otherwise, exactly like a hotel. It doesn't need its own restaurants because you are literally right in the middle of the heart of the city on the Gran Via. The Gran Via is walking distance, or at most a very inexpensive taxi ride, to virtually everything the average tourist would probably see in Granada such as the Alhambra, the Albaycín (Alb... The location is great, very central to downtown Granada. But you will need a cab to get to the Alhambra. It's a 5-7 min ride. We stayed here because it was so highly rated on Tripadvisor but were ultimately very disappointed. The accomodations were very common and cheap with a Residence Inn being much better, The bathroom was so tiny that we had a hard time sharing it between 4. Nothing fancy. Standard simple clean place. Not as close to Alhambra as I had hoped for, but about a mile walk. On the flip side, the back of the hotel butts up against Al-baicyn, which is a very neat, touristy shopping area with a lot of Moorish influence. The bathroom was tiny, which forced the 4 of us to be very time efficient. Sort of a pain, but definitely not a show-stopper. The woman at the front desk, Belen, was excellent. After a string of amazing hotels in Spain we have hit our first bad one. We are changing hotels in the morning due to the horrible sewage smell. I've only experienced this one other time in Laos, but wouldn't expect it at a 4 star hotel in Spain. The rooms are very large, but the hotel has several drawbacks. 1. The reasonable price had us thinking of well-worn furniture and a bare-bones kitchenette, but the Gran Via 44 is surprisingly up to date, with clean and functional furnishings. The street is noisy but the windows are sturdy. A great breakfast delivered to the table in your room each morning is a definite plus.
