We had a very hard time finding the hotel even with a gps.Would suggest that you find a map with the one way and restricted streets shown and study it a bit before you go. Other than that very nice. The staff, especially the woman at the reception desk who seemed to be on duty 24/7, was great. The room was clean and worked well although the electrical outlets had been turned off and we had to get the woman at the reception desk to come up and fix the problem. We did not try the breakfast

This hotel was so hard to find - even with a gps - that when we stopped to ask directions we actually persuaded a young man to jump in the car with us to help. He guided us to a nearby parking garage and then walked us to the hotel. For the price of a few beers, he certainly saved the day! Once there we were delighted. Kathy at the reception desk couldn't have been more helpful - sharing tips on where to go, what to see, good places to eat. The room was clean, comfortable and attractive. Wifi co... Read more

We stayed at the Hotel Anacapri in Granada in April 2016 as a couple. We booked this hotel because of its location - it is right in the centre of Granada, about 5 minutes walk from the cathedral, and about 30 mins walk from the Alhambra. However... it is hidden down a narrow little alleyway, and we had real difficult finding it, even with a satnav and Google Maps. There is NO PARKING at this hotel, so don't think about trying to park near it - the nearest car park is about 10 mins walk away, an... Read more

Hotel Anacapri has many plus factors to recommend it. A primary reason in its favour is its prime location, right in the heart of the city, and within a 5 minute walk to the Cathedral. The hotel reception area is tastefully done up, rooms are good and airconditioning effective. The breakfast is really good and the hotel staff friendly and helpful.Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Anacapri and recommend it to all those going to Granada and looking for a great location and a value for money deal!

We were delighted by our choice. Anacapri was chosen for its location and price. It is perfectly located and its friendly staff were very patient, assisting us with bookings to Alhambra and responding to every request. The room was of older style but clean and comfortable. The aircon was good, shower hot, modern bathroom and comfortable bed.

Hotel is little hard to find but totally worth it. So close to historic center -the cathedral and royal chapel. Plus close to the buses to the Alhambra and Albaicin. Great tapas bar around the corner too. Beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was a little limited but I liked the choices available. Will come back to Granada as there is do much to see and do. Two days was not enough time and will stay here again.

We loved the location, central and quiet at the same time. The hotel is so clean. The staff are all very kind and ready to help. The hotel is few steps from the bus stop where the bus for Alhambra departs. All the rest of touristic sites are walking distance (even Alhambra if you prefer to walk)

This hotel is located on a small street just a couple of blocks from the cathedral. The people who work the front desk are extremely helpful, especially with issues like getting Alhambra tickets, etc. And the cost is very reasonable. On the other hand, because it's a budget hotel, the accommodation is rather spartan. And we found that there is a lot of interior noise from slamming doors (thin doors and frames-- a little felt strip where the door meets the frame might help). So, if you want t... Read more

6 euros from train station to hotel gave driver 10 i thought very fair. Location of Hotel was down a very narrow street but once you are in side it is like a tardist very roomy. The reception was very clean and the lady was really helpful and spoke very good english which is helpful because our spanish is very limited. We had booked two rooms on double and one twin for my mother-in-law and her friend. While i can't comment on the twin room what i can say about ours was for the price it was not ... Read more

Super Nice clean hotel. 3 minutes from the main drag but quiet. The staff spoke english well. Breakfast was cold:: ham, cheese, tea, coffee, rolls, cereal . Had 2 Working elevators, sunny lounge. Staff on duty overnight; could help with light housekeeping needs.

The lobby area of the hotel is very charming with a little fountain and some sitting areas around it. The staff is competent and helpful. The room is kinda small, the cabinets and bathroom are kinda "classical". It's more of a place to rest after a long day out and not doing much. The bed is comfortable enough.

Very nice hotel with wonderful staff. In a great location for Granada. Restaurants are abundant within a block or two. AC and breakfast. Rooms were nice sized and comfortable. A little too much AC in the Lobby and sitting area.

Very clean hotel with superb staff. I've only one quibble and that being breakfast was a little short on choice. My husband is veggie and there was nothing savoury but cheese. Suggestion to hotel; please could you prepare the fruit into slices or a salad. It's hard to peel and slice some fruit on your plate with a table knife.

This hotel is located close to the centre of Granada, and is close to the bus stop where a specialised bus service takes visitors to the Alhambra. There are traffic restrictions which operate in this zone of Granada, and guests arriving by car need to give their details (name, passport, licence plate details) to Reception, who in turn advise the Town Hall officials, so that drivers are not fined for driving a private vehicle in the restricted zone of the city. The hotel has only a couple of sho... Read more

Great location in central Granada. 2 mins to the bus stop perfect for visiting the Alhambra and St Nicholas Plaza. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgable especially the front desk. Granada is a bit of a nightmare to park but you get 15mins to off load at the hotel.

This hotel is a truly hidden jewel in city center of Granada. The hotel is a clean and staff is super friendly and helpful. Since we were driving in and lost our way in search of this hotel, Roberto at front desk helped us out. DO NOT try driving here as directions on the hotel site are not the most useful. It is painful. Granada is notorious for lanes for bus and taxi only and can impose huge fines for wrong use of lane trying to get to the hotel. It is advisable to park at a Parking garage an... Read more

Our experience is a bit mixed. We booked the hotel as it was in the heart of the city. It's very close to the wonderful shops, restaurants and markets and the Morroccan quarter, which feels like you are actually in Morrocco! The choice of restaurants in the area is great, with amazing food and ambience. Anacapri is a simple (basic) and clean hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the room/ensuite very clean. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Not so good points: Why all th... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. It's clean, has air con and staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is too expensive at ?11 per person. You can eat for a lot less round the corner. We got a kettle on request but no water or glasses or mugs for tea. Parking is about 10 minutes away but very expensive. ?25 per 24 hours or 18 with the hotel discount

I actually visited in December 2014, but I could not mark it that way. Anyway, the place is centrally located t most areas except the Albacin. If you don't mind a fifteen or twenty minute walk, it should be no problem. The place was clean but small bathroom. The price was reasonable. English was little but I can speak a bit of Spanish. Would surely return to the place if I revisit.

Revisted Anacapri after eight years. They no longer serve wine in the breakfast room and breakfast is not included automatically. Kathy (proprietor) told us about more affordable place around the corner. Spanish breakfasts are similar to Italian ones, basically coffee and croissant-type rolls. Desk personnel are very helpful in guiding you to places in walking distance to buy wine and munchies to have in room, will also open your wine for you. Excellent English-speakers. Rooms are serviceab... Read more

Visited here in August for three nights with my husband and son. The hotel is a nightmare to find if you drive to Granada, but eventually we found the closest car park and walked. It just happened to be the car park the hotel recommend and give you a discount for using during your stay. The hotel is ideally placed, we returned during the day to freshen up or drop off parcels. The bedroom was rather cramped and the bathroom basic, in my view it needed a real deep clean with bleach and a bit of el... Read more

From checking in until leaving no fault could be found. Hotel is small with everything you would need for a couple of days in Granada. As with most hotels in Granada no parking is available however they can get you a small discount from one nearby, however it is still nearly 20?. Rooms are small but functionable and the bathroom includes a bath and not a shower. 50-70? bracket in this great city! you cannot go wrong.

Very nice, perfectly located hotel. Great hotel staff including Kathy Wilke (a transplanted American) who was remarkably helpful and happy. For example she helped me get and print out train tickets in my next location. Things like this make the Anacapri a good choice.

The rooms were small and a little tired, but clean and contained everything you would expect, including a bath. The location was great, in walking distance of the old town, the Alahambra, bars & restaurants. The staff were pleasant and helpful and I would recommend this hotel as good value for money.

The hotel is situated in the city centre, The Cathedral, shopping and eating places are within few meters away from the hotel. The gates to the Alhambra can be reached by walking from the hotel (about 15 minutes or more, portion of the walk is steep). If you are getting in Granada via the ALSA bus, you only need one bus SN1 and get off the Cathedral stop on Gran Via, cross the street and the hotel is within two short calles behind. Staff speak English and very helpful. No English Tv channel howe... Read more
