From the front door it's easy walk in any direction to immerse yourself in Cordoba's famed historical old quarter. Walking tour is highly recommended, even if it's a 2 hour tour. Find some roof top bars for sunset drinks. Agree with previous reviews, staff at this hotel are attentive, (very timely but pricey laundry services) The breakfast was a sad affair, cramped, unappetizing hot dishes. Our bathroom had a tub but instead of an enclosed shower, there were 2 cloth curtains over a teakboard s... Read more

Stayed 2 nights. Is situated in the old town, easy walk to most attractions like the Roman bridge, cathedral, gardens, etc. Plenty of good, reasonably priced places to eat a variety of Spanish specialties, either outside or in a courtyard setting, close by. My advice? Get lost in the alleyways. The hotel has friendly staff formally attired. The setting off the street is an open courtyard garden with a relaxing table and chair area for drinks around a fountain. Downstairs rooms abut this a... Read more

Beautiful hotel lovingly restored to provide tranquil stay in the centre of this historic city. Rooms are well appointed whilst retaining unique character. Breakfast buffet is good if a little over-priced. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Superb location for all major sites. Highly reccomended.

This is a beautifully renovated old house -- the tourists are always trying to peek in to see what it is. On our first night the room was just OK, with a cramped bathroom, a view of an abandoned building and noisy A/C. We thought it inadequate for $220 a night, but they were full. The following two nights they moved us to a nicer room. The furnishings are old-fashioned, but I liked the old-fashioned blankets rather than the now-ubiquitous quilts that I hate. The staff were extremely nice.. Brea... Read more

Fantastic place to stay. The location was excellent. Close to the action and yet noise did not impede our sleep. Fantastic things to see and do. A must when travelling in Spain. I would highly recommend if you want to leave the European style hotels you stay here. All mod cons, but still had history on its side.

Spent one night. Bathroom equipped with a bath tub and separate shower stall. Hot water in sinks and bathtub, but not in the shower. Reported the problem that morning as we were leaving to make the train. "Sorry, we'll get it fixed." I realize things break and problems occur. Pretty expensive cold showers.

My only complaint would be that the breakfasts were 16 euros--far too high. I only have compliments for everything else. We arrived hours early, but they still let us check in; check-in was pleasant and efficient. The rooms, the patios, the fountains, are all old-time Andalucía, and we loved it. It was not as high-priced as some of the higher-end places, but I'm sure the quality was just as good; I thought it was very reasonable. The rooms were clean, not overly large but comfortable, and ... Read more

The hotel is very different in terms of layout - labryinthes going everywhere. Wonderful bougainvillea in Spring. They set up drinks on an honor bar system in the various courtyards before dinner. Our room was at the top floor nearest to the pool. Nice enough but not luxurious. Well located right at the start of the old quarter.

A beautiful hotel in the classic Andalusian style, perfectly positioned, excellent staff but badly let down by the claustrophobic underground breakfast room (air conditioning broken on one of our mornings). This is strange given the abundance of delightful courtyards and patios in the hotel.

This hotel is almost perfect. Great location right near the Mosque-Cathedral and easy enough to find. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and quaint. The bathroom was a concern, there was a cockroach laying belly up in mine, and the floor of the shower had wood palings which were still wet from being cleaned. Also there is only one person on reception. She as very efficient, yet we were constantly having to queue for long periods to get assistance. There is also a pool.

We stayed here for 1 night recently. The hotel is located in a beautiful traditional Spanish building within the old town, only a few steps from all of the main attractions in Córdoba. Our room was set off one of the lovely courtyards and was furnished to a high standard. Breakfast was included and was located in the basement of the hotel. It was not possible to get dinner in the hotel but there were many restaurants within a very short distance.

Lovely staff - couldn't have been more helpful. Location good. Room ok - supposedly one of the better rooms but not as nice as we were hoping. Perfectly comfortable though. Breakfast was served in a sub basement room - a shame as there's a beautiful courtyard which would be ideal. I asked about this and was told that the noise would wake up the overlooking rooms.

The staff are extremely helpful & everything is done with a smile, It is a historic building in the old town - but if driving, make sure you don't turn right too early and end up in the pedestrian area (oops, blushes all round)! My trip to Córdoba was prompted by research into a projected novel set in 12th century Spain. I needed to immerse myself in the ambiance of that time and, for that and much more, I couldn't have picked a better place than the Casa de la Juderia. It is a renovated dwelling set out in the style of an elite Sephardic home- easily plucked out of times when Maimonides and Averroes, incidentally the protagonists of my novel, lived there. Las Casas de la Judería is a stunning complex of traditional andalucian houses that has been turned into a purposedly boutiquesque hotel. For that reason it has gorgeous patios and beautiful corners, all very photogenic. Our room was nicely designed however poorly equipped. Bathroom was average for Spanish standards but had the basic ammenities. Wifi reception was quite poor, intermittent and slow, which was definitely disappointing in a 4* hotel nowadays. You might wonder about my low revie... Read more

This is a nice hotel, apparently made up of several old houses, so it rambles all over the place, with various small and large courtyards interspersed throughout. We had a large room which overlooked the small but attractive swimming pool area. Room facilities good and a wide selection of bathroom toiletries - as we travel light this is a really important aspect, really annoying if no conditioner or moisturizer which is sometimes the case. Lighting could be improved in bedroom - obviously old ro... Read more

Wonderful location. Loved our room, the bed, the toiletries, the air conditioning, the pool.... The entire hotel was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with the glaring exception of the breakfast room which was ugly, stuffy and loud. Breakfast was not good, and certainly not worth 16 Euros each. VERY noisy breakfast room, crowded, stuffy - we finally carried our food up the (very dark) stairs and into the beautiful/peaceful courtyard to escape the awful breakfast room. Because of this, I ... I loved this hotel. Bright, clean and well maintained, friendly service, excellent location. I had room 48, which looks out over the pool and is quiet, with lots of light. We didn't even attempt the hotel breakfast, we ate very well at the nearby sidewalk cafes for a fraction of the price. The staff were very willing to help with restaurant reservations. We only stayed 2 nights...I wish it had been longer!

This is a beautiful hotel in the Jewish quarter of Cordoba. It is easy walking distance to the Cathedral and the river. Our room overlooked the central courtyard, but wasn't noisy. The bathroom was large and well appointed, with a separate shower. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of different options. The staff at reception were patient and accommodating with all types of requests. The courtyard was a lovely place to sit or have a drink.

We are so pleased we took notice of the reviews and changed our booking to this lovely unique hotel. Our room for a standard room was fabulous. On second floor overlooking a courtyard, huge comfortable bed, lovely linen and a fantastic bathroom with a massage bath, separate shower and twin washbasins. The staff were superb especially the Austro- English young man who welcomed us and went out of his way to help us find our hire car that we had abandoned out of the old town. He personally went with... Read more

This house gives you the full feeling of the andalusian architecture and hospitality. The patio is beautyful, rooms reflect the old style of southern spain. The only part that needs improvement is the breakfast room. After 9:00 am you have to queue for quite some time.

Stayed here a few weeks ago only for one night but it was the perfect place to stop. The hotel is very cute, in the typical Spanish style with an open courtyard in the middle. Rooms are huge and comfortable. It's in the perfect location too, only minutes from the Mozquita and the Jewish Synagoge. Despite being in the old town, it's very easily accessible by car as its on the outskirts and there's even a car park literally around the corner that was well priced. Definitely recommend staying he... Read more

Spent 3 nights here in the wonderful Córdoba. The hotel was perfect for exploring the old town and the architecture is stunning with a central picturesque courtyard. It also has a small but adequate pool for cooling off after a day's sightseeing. Would definitely return.

What an unorganised, inconsidered mess that reception is. Totally understaffed for the myriad of peeps coming and going - and here we go , single female traveller- the couple being shown the room through the maze at the same time as me had their luggage both carried while I was left to shlepp my stuff and then some - Disgrace! Charming and individual with high standards of professionalism. This was a hotel with a winning combination of location, ambiance and great staff. We were taken care of from arrival to departure and nothing was too much trouble. Cooled on arrival with little glasses of lemon scented water and on departure having our car delivered to the front door, facing the right direction (to save negotiating very narrow streets!) were just two of the little touches, that make this place special. Yes, the check-in and out can be a bit slow going. Yes, a bit more signs to navigate within the hotel would be nice... But that's us, hyper travellers. Once settled in, the calming atmosphere will do its wonders, the food available to eat in the lounge area is excellent and there are other excellent restaurants nearby. Walking distance to all tourist attractions. Would not recommend this hotel for people with mobility issues but for all others, this place is a gem. Would definitely recommen... Read more

We were given a very friendly welcome with lots of information volunteered about the local attractions. Guided to our ground floor 'classic' room which was comfortable but with the window facing onto the public square outside. This was quiet enough but we could not open the curtains until we were dressed each day, to maintain privacy. The pool area was uncrowded and pleasant for an afternoon snooze after sightseeing but the water was way too cold for us! The patio garden was a delightful place t... Read more

Very sophisticated hotel within the tangle of narrow streets of the old town. At the core an old building, with modern additions blending in very well. Several patio courtyards including a swimming pool; old remains lit up in the basements, smooth reception and very polite, helpful staff. Bedroom was large and comfortable, with a good sized bathroom and nice products. The only downside was that breakfast was not included in the rate and would have been ‚?¨ 16 to eat in a basement breakfast ... Read more

A wonderful charming old Spanish worldly hotel located within the old town. Far enough away from the hubbub of the tourist grand parade but near enough to hit all the sights within a few minutes. Ticked all the boxes, oozed Cordobian atmosphere, rooms good size for a young family, a pool to retreat to when the heat of August hit and staff incredibly relaxed and friendly. Could not be more helpful. Totally recommend the hotel for future guests. Long may it continue to serve!

We had been so looking forward to our stay- we thought it would be a big treat for us to indulge and be indulged after months of hard work and had gone for an expensive room option. So many of the good things said by other reviewers are true- the great location, the traditional, old Andalucian ambience, the shady, well tended courtyards, the (small) pool, generally helpful and friendly staff, comfy beds, good en-suites with complimentary toiletries and robes, nice decorations, etc but you kind o... Lovely people, lovely room in a collection of old homes in the Jewish quarter in the historic part of town. They have done a marvelous job of connecting the old buildings with new additions, provide very helpful advice, and generally make the stay very enjoyable. The hotel is very convenient to La Mezquita and the other beautiful parts of historic Cordoba.

Great hotel in heart of old town. History of hotel is interesting in its own right. Next to Alcazar, Mezquita Cathedral, Arab Baths and Roman Bridge. Great restaurants nearby. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Courtyard drinks very relaxing after walking the sites. Eclectic but comfortable. No restaurant in house a drawback. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Built around picturesque courtyards with fabulous spacious rooms. One of the best bathrooms I have ever used. Furnishings of a very high standard. Breakfast was good but a shame the breakfast room has no natural light or air. Would be so nice to eat breakfast in one of the courtyards.

Stayed for three nights in Las Casas de la Juderia. It is a stunning hotel with bedrooms off courtyards. The rooms are decorated in the Moorish tradition and are very atmospheric. The hotel is situated near the Mesquieto and the old Jewish quarter. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel

We drove to Cordoba from Seville using a GPS to find our way to the hotel. It wasn't a difficult task; however, one must be careful negotiating the narrow streets and the constant flow of tourists especially on the street where the hotel is that leads to the Mezquita, the great mosque of Cordoba the main attraction of town. The hotel staff was very helpful parking the car for us especially in that chaos. The tourists were trying to get into the hotel thinking that it was a historical place to vi... Read more

In October of this year my wife and I spent three wonderful days in Las Casas de la Juderia. The location, at the entrance to the old town, is perfect and the hotel itself exhibits the charm and grandeur of the city's history. We arrived at the hotel not knowing what to expect. We were blown away by the entrance of the hotel right next to the cobble streets of Cordoba historic center. Once we arrived (in a car) they quickly grabbed our keys and took themselves the car without us having to think for a second what to do with it. We were given a deluxe room that is after the concierge gave us a very detailed and personal explanation of the must do's in our one day visit of Cordoba. All his recommendations were spot on in...
