Quiet room at the back but small for its rating. Decor a bit dingy Location good and decent garage but pricey for parking. Breakfast pretty average and they seep to get a lot of tour parties which means the buffet can be emptied quickly.

Pros Brilliant location, in walking distance of all major sites. The bed is nice and wide and provides a good sleep Everything was clean and neat Cons - the room was a bit nosy (the room was facing the road and you could hear some of the cars even with the widows closed) - veeeery tight parking (especially access to the last parking floor) - expensive parking - the hotel is like a maze

When we arrived we were told we were too early to check in so we parked the car in the under ground car park and left our bags at reception and went off sight seeing for the afternoon. When we returned at 7.30pm we were told we had been up graded to a junior suite which sounded promising. The room was dark and dingy it over looked the street and the furnishings were very dated, the double bed was small. As we were running late for our restaurant reservation we did not ask for a room change as w... Read more

The hotel is in a good location, very close to templo Romano, short walking distance from the main square, Plaza de las Tendillas. The room and bathroom is very good siz, shower's water pressure is excellent. Bed and pillows are comfortable, and it is reasonably quite during the night, even when my room face the street. The check-in and check-out is very fast. staff were courteous. it is easy to arrive the hotel from train station by bus, but it is on a one way traffic street, so when one is l... Read more

This was an overpriced hotel. The style was similar to many conference hotels. The room was clean, the bed huge but not very comfortable and the walls not sound proof. We had the worst coffee at breakfast I have ever experienced in Spain. Overall this was disappointing

Kind and comfortable, this hotel is an excellent place to rest and organize your visit in Cordoba. The breakfast is appealing, and the swimming pool very refreshing. The pity are the slamming doors, a frequent problem in all hotels, they should do something about it.

I tried to cancel a booking I had made on-line for a room so that I could change rooms. I did this and when I entered the booking reference in a second time the website told me the booking was not recognized, so I assumed the booking had been cancelled. when I arrived at the hotel I was told the booking had not been cancelled and I had to pay for a booking I did not require. There were always very long waiting times for checking in and checking out too. However, the hotel is clean quiet and the ... Read more

The hotel is near the centre of the city but the lay-out is rather unusual. If you are travelling by a tourist bus you will have to walk some distance from where the bus can drop you off, to the hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, quiet and well-furnished; our room was a little small but adequate. Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast offers a reasonable selection. This hotel is suitable for a relatively short stay but I'm not sure I could recommend it for a prolonger visit.

In June 2016 we spent 3 nights at this hotel. The decor has a traditional feel for the area. The layout is a bit maze like. When booking we requested a room facing the pool, which we were pleased to receive. We were able to open a little balcony door for fresh air. The twin room was of reasonable size and clean, so too the bathroom. Housekeeping look to do a good job at this hotel. Was nice to have a bathroom with a window we could open too. The mattresses are firm but still comfortable, th... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location os good as it is close to the historical place but everything else is below average. The room was dingy with very small window! The walls are thin therefore you can hear the noise from what ever happening outside! They gave us two twin beds placed side by side which were not even the same level. Therefore one of us was higher that the other one and we basically slept on two deprecate beds. The sheets are so worn out that I could almost see the t... Read more

This hotel is located a short walk from the outskirts of the historic district (about 3 blocks), with many amenities including a beautiful pool area, 24 hour room service, etc. Placa de Tendillas is about a 10 minute walk (5 blocks) and we spent the first night walking down to the Mezquita and the Puente Romano and back. Bathrooms were modern and spacious - but our particular room felt a bit cramped for 3 with the extra bed. On the other hand, we don´t expect to spend any time in the room and t... Read more

The hotel is old stylish and is worn down but clean and room rate reasonable. The Reception personnel were friendly and very helpful and answered all our inquiries. The hotel is situated near the touristic spots like: Puente Roma, Jewish Quater, Patio Viana and the Cathedral of Córdoba, etc. From the train Station, it is easy accessible with the Bus C3.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly in keeping with the style of the city. It has Moorish influences in the decor with is consistent throughout. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, they could not do enough for me. Very were very polite and courteous. Would definitely stay here again, good location. 15 minute walk to all the major sites or just a cheap taxi ride if the heat gets too much. Rooms were clean and well decorated. Pool is a little small for the hotel size, but it is pleasant.

We needed somewhere central with parking and this hotel ticked those boxes. When you drive in you go through the barrier to the car park. It's quite tight down there but pretty well lit. The reception area is beautiful and the staff very helpful. It's a very spread out hotel so our room seemed like the other side of the hotel which as we walked down the corridor the interiors seemed to get more worn and darker. We were near the pool area which looked amazing. But our room was very dark, there a w... Read more

this hotel ist alrady a couple of years old but still ok for a night in the city and a visit to "la mezquita". Breakfast buffet is also ok, you get what you need and no more. We had dinner at the Bar and that was just very very very bad service ant terrible food. We ordered a "pepito" which I know from several trips to Mexico as an meat sandwich with avocado, salad and beans... well in this hotel ypu get bred, meat and crisps!!! not even frechn fries but crisps! terrible! If you're driving in, you can head straight to the car park before checking in (Google maps will get you there!). Aim for the second floor if it's not full, otherwise you need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before you get to the lift. Lady at reception was so adorable and mega polite! The hotel is cosy, room was small but big enough to open 2 suitcases and bathroom was nice and clean. Shower is within a bath tub (no yucky shower curtain either). We had no fridge in our room. We booked this room in august and got a reasonable rate. The room we got was pretty nice with views of the pool and terrace. The check in was a bit slow but once attended staff friendly and competent. The hotel is a bit dated but it also matched the style of the hotel. The hotel could update a few things eg. bar area, some furniture (some wear and tear), the cheap sign outside the building, and it could make a big difference. The pool area was very nice!

There were construction works so we had to walk with our baggage a fair way to reach the hotel. It didn't look much from the outside but a pleasant surprise inside. It's quite old, nicely decorated with a modern bar area, lounges with comfortable chairs, free wifi and comfortable rooms. Our room was floor minus one, below ground floor but built into the hill so we saw our neighbours roof. The rooms were quite large and bathroom was well appointed. As an added bonus, our hand washing dried quickl... Read more

Great surroundings. Hotel very good. Staff outstanding. Dinner not fully to our taste, breakfast super. Buffet lots of it and great quality. Have a drink in the bar at lunch and her free tapas, wonderful but small selection. Staff could not do more for you and are a credit to the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel via travel agent's arrangement on 9/7/2016, they did not provide hot water pot for boiling hot water using for coffee or tea. When we went down to ask for hot water, different staffs want to charge us 1 or 1.5 euro. This was the first time we ever encountered such charge from all the hotels we have stayed (worldwide). As far as I concerned, this is the worst service from any hotel.

This hotel is old, run down and dirty. It was booked by a tour we are on. The tour company is Abacco and is horrible, but that's another story. The air conditioner barely cools. The carpet is so old and dirty I'm afraid to place my bare foot on it. We arrived in the evening and was just too tired to find another hotel. The Hotel Alfaros needs a renovation.

Great hotel, clean and fresh with fab facilities - pool area. Sun trap in afternoon, pool and bar service keep you cool!! Located on quiet street, very close to centre, only 10 mins walk from Mezquita! Lots of bars and tapas bars close by. Hotel overall was very spacious, quiet and clean, staff friendly - unbelievable for the price!

Don't believe everthing you read about this hotel, some people are just too picky. We spent 10 days here and had a room overlooking the pool and right across the hall from the gym, we did not hear thing. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable my only gripe was the mattress being too hard and no dressing table with drawers to keep clothing in. The breakfasts were excellent with a large selection of both hot and cold food, we had an evening meal twice and could not fault it, all the staff were... Read more

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff and the cleanest place I've ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious and immaculate. Booked through for best deal. Would recommend staying as the pool was the perfect size plus they provided pool towels. Breakfast was included but not much variety on the hot buffet but saying that there were lots to choose from from the cold buffet and breads.

Our carpeted room was roomy with a large (king?) comfy bed and a large marbled bathroom with plenty of counter space and a bidet. Immaculate! The pool area includes a hot tub and a sheltered, shaded deck area, perfect for reading. There is also a long narrow terrace area overlooking the rooftops of Cordoba, perfect photo stop. The hotel was comfy and clean. But didn't offer anything special with its room. Walking distance to most areas of town. Very helpful staff especially Jesús who located my headphones that I left in the room safe. He kindly posted them home for me. Local road construction made it difficult for our bus and also walking nearby streets.
