A top quality experience in every way - excellent, helpful and well-trained staff, lovely room and pool. Great bistro and restaurant offering excellent food. The hotel is a beautiful farmhouse with unique rooms, many with lovely terraces.

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, the rooms are luxurious and the setting is pretty if not perhaps as nice as the best spots in Mallorca ( it is very close to a busy road - but so are most places on the island ) Yes there will be lots of children in peak season so avoid if that's an issue for you and the 'gastronomic' restaurant is somewhat at odds with the idea of rural 'barefoot' luxury ( It may have been our inability to speak Spanish but the maitre'd was either overly ... We stayed 3 nights, rooms are spacious and charming with huge bathroom space and very comfortable bed. Has a great breakfast buffet with local products. Staff is very friendly and will help with all they can. They also have several activities free of charge such as yoga.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. However, if you are staying longer than 3 days the casual restaurant menu becomes a little monotonous- a daily special would have been appreciated, though quality of the good was very good. The ' fine dining ' restaurant is a tasting menu. Pool is heated which is great in the early season.

A great hotel if you want to get away from it all - its a very special place with lovely staff great food and easy to get to other places as long as you have a car - there are lovely beaches within cycling distance particularly cala mesquida - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can particularly recommend the 5 course tasting menu in the main restaurant. Also can really recommend a trip to the market in Arta which is a lovely town nearby and if you like driving (not in high season do the d... Read more

We stayed a week and while the hotel, room, restaurant, breakfast and location were all stunning the factor that made our stay the most memorable were how genuine and friendly the staff were. Never have we been made to feel so welcome and at ease at a hotel. A superb place and we will be back! Thank you so much!

Exceeded our expectations in many ways. Met by a warm and personal welcome during check in. The room was spacious with a stylish design. Breakfast was more than plentiful and really tasty. Garden and pool area was well managed. A lovely place to have a relaxing vacation.

We really wanted to love this hotel, but it misses on several fronts. First, our room (# 25) is a detached cottage. While this is terrific for privacy and noise, the room itself needs work. It's partially built into a hillside, which although architecturally interesting, also means it's musty. The smell was hard to overlook. At this price point, I also expect more than cheap plastic fixtures, better maintenance, and lightweight foam pillows. Second, the hotel does not offer a lot of services. ... Read more

A charming and well- appointed small hotel in a lovely rural location. It combines style, comfort and convenience with a personable yet discreet approach. The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful, the service is excellent. The food is very high quality although I agree with the earlier comment about the casual restaurant menu being slightly monotonous if you are staying for longer than three days. I would highly recommend this hotel as a refined, relaxing and restful restorative.

The hotel could be better with just a few more amenities...and better service. It is a beautiful hotel in a remote location. With that said, the hotel should have a small gift shop for necessities such as sunscreen or toothpaste because if you forgot to pack it, you will need to drive 20 minutes to the nearest supermarket. There is no pool attendant for towels, the pool is not heated and there is no beverage or food service in the pool area. The bistro serves delicious food but is sorely u... Read more

We found this hotel through Mr and Mrs Smith and it did not disappoint. We stayed in a Grand Suite, which was spacious, clean, airy and well appointed with a gorgeous bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. The common areas of the hotel are well maintained and although the pool is not huge there was always plenty of room and available sun beds. We requested massages from the spa treatment options and were both very satisfied with the service provided. We only ate at the bistro and the food w... Read more

I joined my partner and our daughter here after a trip to Barcelona with some friends and it was just what I needed. An idyllic, quiet, relaxed and comfortable luxury hotel where the staff can't do enough for you. We stayed in Room 15 which was very large and nicely decorated. It was a perfect base for us to explore the island and visit the local beach. Steven (the manager) runs a team which is helpful and friendly. Everyone from the reception team, the bar and restaurant, through to the cleaner... Read more

Predi could not have been a more perfect experience: the staff were kind, the hotel beautifully appointed and nicely decorated; the location a perfect base-camp for exploring the island and the restaurant fantastic.

Our third time staying at the hotel was just as great as the others. In fact, it was slightly better as there is now a bistro open in the evenings which makes a welcome addition to the main (Michelin starred) restaurant. The standards are still just as high as our first visit and many of the staff are the same which is another testament to this great place. Stephen, Miriam and Hana were lovely and make a great team.

My husband and I spent four days here during our honeymoon. This was an absolutely beautiful place to come and relax after spending over a week hiking and backpacking in the Pyrenees. The hotel was charming and had so much character. Everything was immaculate, the food was great, the views were stunning.. it was truly great. Thank you!!

We were greeted by lovely smiley Hana - very helpful throughout our stay. Rooms are spacious and loved the terrace over looking the hills. The bistro menu was small but served good food. We didn't manage to get in the Michelin restaurant as it was fully booked (!) so we had two nights eating on our terrace which for us at the end of busy holiday was perfect. A car is a definite.

Lovely quiet hotel with a beautiful view and great service! Especially loved the beautiful stars and sound of a few crickets. Would definately go again! Even after we checked out we were given towels to go to the beach and then a room to shower before heading out! The staff was especially friendly.

Loved it. Fantastic food - both restaurants are so good. Great staff! Beautiful place. Great pool. Loved the room and terrace. We will be back! Our daughter and us were made most welcome. It was a treat of a place. A gem. The vibe is so chilled and lovely. The building is outstanding and great history behind it.

The good: Lovely staff (especially at breakfast), beautiful room (comfortable bed), quiet location (even in August), great views (over mountains and great sky at night). What you need to be careful of: Too often we felt that the emphasis was on style at the detriment of substance. What we mean is: beautiful looking menu description but too often tasteless food (not the Andreu Genetra restaurant). Smiley reception staff but ineffective. We received very little information on arrival including n... Read more

Just the right balance between stylish and chic and relaxed boho. Apparently a great restaurant but needs to be booked well in advance even though it didn't seem very full. Quirky and well designed individual rooms some with wonderful private terraces. Pool area feels a bit confined and bistro menu a bit limited and food not that good hence 4 not 5 stars. Lovely staff especially welcoming Hana and nothing-too-much-trouble Rachel. Great for a romantic and quiet break even in high season.

Just stayed 4 nights here after 5 nights at our Mallorca favourite Can Simoneta (see separate review!) which was fully booked for the second part of our holiday, so Son Jaumell was our second choice. BUT we were absolutely not disappointed despite trepidation about children (ours are grown up so don't do summer hols with us any more) and a far smaller property with no sea view. I was alone there first night as hubby had to go off island for business and I felt perfectly safe and cared for by lov... Read more

My husband and I spent one night here during our fortnight in Mallorca. The hotel is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the main restaurant is closed on Tuesday's which we were hoping to eat in but the bistro also did a good job. Our room faced the countryside and was spacious and comfortable. There was a complimentary bottle of red wine in the room which was a nice touch even though I don't drink red wine! I would definitely recommend a stay here.

My wife and I stayed for a night and found it a good base to explore the interesting area around it - Arta and Capdepera especially. The hotel is a very tastefully updated farmhouse and the rooms are mostly in a range of former outbuildings. They are cleverly refurbished, spacious, comfortable and well equipped with their own private terrace. The pool area is peaceful with a number of different sunbathing and comfortable places to sit and read. The food provided is of very high quality. A very ... Read more

Son Jaumell is a beautiful property in a quiet country area. The hotel is very nicely done and super tranquil. Hotel service was exemplary. We were upgraded to a Gran Suite Deluxe without them knowing it was our honeymoon! The room was huge and nicely appointed. We stayed in this area for proximity to beaches while being in a quiet area. We booked 2 days at this hotel to finish up our trip to Spain. The facilities are very nice, but our room was lacking. First, we only had very tiny windows (on the top floor) from which to look out and enjoy the view. Second, our room had an any infestation. When we called the front desk about this, they said the ants "were crazy" right now and would send someone up soon. They did clean the room, but the ants came back again. Our room was also very, very warm. We actually had to move the bed ove... Read more

The hotel sits just outside Capdepera, a small market town overlooked by its own castle. It's surrounded by farmlands including its own fields of vines and homegrown vegetables. We arrived late at night to find we'd been upgraded to the honeymoon suite. Smiles all round. Huge space, gorgeous detail. Burger off the room service menu seemed a legit idea. Pow, first meal a massive success, plus the organic beer was a real treat. Huge plate of food, well balanced with as much space for greenery ... Read more
