I visited Sentido Punta del Mar with my family for a week's all-inclusive holiday. The hotel caters for guests who are 16yrs+. On arrival, we were greeted with soft drinks whilst checking in and the whole experience was a breeze. The reception area is bright and spacious with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea and Majorcan mountains. The room was as described, a double room with en suite and a sea view - it also had a large balcony overlooking the stunning pool and terrace with 2 chair... Read more

Rather than repeat everything that's already been said, I will keep this review concise. Taxi from airport to hotel ‚?¨48. Pint of lager in hotel, approx ‚?¨4 The hotel does provide pool towels on request free of charge (1 per person). I have just returned from 11 nights half board with a friend and I have to say we both fell in love with Majorca. The hotel was spotless, the staff friendly and helpful and the food excellent. It was an added bonus that it is adult only as I had my years of watching my own children and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. I can't say a negative thing about my holiday. A five minute walk down the road is a square which has lots of bars and little shops and restaurants. It was nice to sit out and peop... Read more

I have to agree with others, the view when walking into this SENTIDO hotel is picturesque. We have just returned from a week's all inclusive in this hotel, and were certainly well impressed. From the warm welcome and refreshing drink from staff on arrival to our departure, the whole experience was first class. We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the bay, a lovely spacious room with 2 balconies, one with 2 sunbeds, the other with table and 2 chairs. The bathroom had a wet floor shower, I ... Read more

Overall a lovely hotel had a really nice time with first class nightly entertainment. Initially we had a room on the ground floor, it was small, and noisy, the noise coming from the sea washing up on to the shore even though it was very calm, we asked for a change of room the next day and they gave us a suite on the 6th floor, very nice but we found as a whole the hotel suffered from lack of attention to detail, loose fittings, sticky doors in (both rooms) dining room walls marked and could do w... We stayed at this hotel in May 2016 and it was excellent. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard by a lovely lady called Trinidad. The Thomas Cook entertainment crew Ricky,Kristina and Leoni worked so hard to make sure that everone was enjoying theirselves, they made every guest feel welcome and their teamwork was very good. Stayed at this hotel for the second time and it was just as fabulous as the first time. The view from reception was still breathtaking and the reception staff are just a delight to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. It was a very pleasant surprise to have been upgraded to a junior suite and after staying in a standard room last night I would say that the Junior Suite does feel like a proper upgrade for space (although still a lack of hangers and storage space!) I came home from this hotel a couple of days ago. It was the best hotel I have ever been to. The reception on arrival was welcoming with lovely fresh orange juice or water, the room was ready, the views were stunning, everything was spotlessly clean from the bedroom to the toilets, the food was varied and cooked to perfection. Just returned last Friday from an 11 day stay. The hotel was found in good order, staff were very polite and helpful and greeted us with a cool refreshing orange juice on arrival. We were left to find our own room and take our luggage but not a problem as all rooms are within the main building and it saved us a tip! Our room was of good standard with fantastic sea views and a beautiful sun set. I would point out that our room was along a long corridor and late night revelers returning were a lit... Read more

Initial impressions on arriving at this hotel are great, you are faced with huge panoramic windows looking over the Med. Having travelled from the airport at early afternoon the welcoming glass of orange juice was very well received. The hotel is, in effect 'upside down' as it is built on the hillside. Hence Reception is on Level 6 which in fact is Ground Level and the pool and main bar is on Level One, overlooking the bay. Our room was on Level 3 which was quiet. Restaurant and Spa on Level 4. ... Wonderfully positioned with fantastic sea views. Very friendly and professional staff throughout the hotel. First impressions are a minimalist style, clean, very bright and airy. We stayed in 5th floor suite which had a sea facing balcony with chairs and sun loungers, which was just as well given the dire situation with obtaining sun beds around the very limited pool area. Because the hotel is not a beach (it is on a hillside) there was increased demand for sun beds that the hotel cannot satisf... Read more

Not my favorite thing standing in queues especially on holiday, but that's what we ended up doing here for most things. For drinks, food, sunbeds you had to join a queue. Put me in a bad mood most days as had paid a fair whack for the holiday and thought it'd be organised in a better way with it being a decent hotel. Our room was ok nothing amazing but clean although the bed was uncomfortable. You arent allowed the sunbeds till 8.30 every morning and then its like a mad rush for the best spots s... Read more

I agree that the location, the views and the staff are excellent but many things disappointed us. We had room 416 which looked over Santa Ponsa bay, it is a good size but lacks storage space in particular a set of drawers would have been good. Insufficient tea and coffee left daily. I was sold on the idea of Sentido hotel because its one of the few adults only hotels and also the photos looked gorgeous. The hotel is on a steep hill, that's why its got such nice views, but good luck walking back and forth even once a day to the town area, its exhausting, we should have rented a car, its listed as a short walk away from the town but the walk feels long when its up and down. The day time entertainment is "the usual" - darts, pool, water polo, as well as archery and rifle shooting. Evening entertainment takes a bit of getting in to - but good once you're into it.
