Booked a value last minute deal, and have to say for the price we paid one shouldn't have any grounds for complaint. The hotel was immaculately clean and all staff polite and friendly. We'd booked a 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious and clean, with 2 sea view balconies, however it did seem more geared up to be cheap living space to sleep 4 people than a luxury break for 2. The sofas were actually 2 single beds placed at right angles and the tv was on the wall behind them? Whilst we didn't ... Read more

We had a one bedroom suite overlooking the pool. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff in reception were very helpful and knowledgeable. Evening activities were not well attended due to the low occupancy at the time of year (mid May). Restaurant food was very good quality and value at 12.5 euros for an evening buffet.

What a lovely hotel. We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have air conditioning, fridges and everything you need to make meals. The pool area was lovely getting plenty of sun. We stayed half board the food was fine but sometimes it was not hot enough, the hotel was not full so we found a table with no problems but it is very small. There is a shop around the corner that does all english food if you like that sort of thing but it is very expensive... Read more

OK, so this is not a demolition job, as the property is not at all bad. Maybe I was just unlucky. The place itself is tucked away from the village, and there a couple of eateries and supermarkets within reasonable reach, the rest needs a bus. (Beware the bus drivers, grumpy and not particularly helpful. Especially when you have only just arrived ... not a good first impression!). Hotel room reasonable for one and I think there lies the crux. One person on s/c ... not gonna make much out of them!... Read more

Had a fab time in tomir apartment got a 1 bed refurb (712) quite modern. (Negative-you need mirror next to dressing table, new TV wasn't working, AC naff). We stayed b&b and was plentiful the usual full English, continental etc. (Negative-you need another coffee machine in dining hall, no one likes to queue for a coffee in the morning). Staff were really helpful and friendly couldn't fault them. Obviously some drinks and food were expensive in hotel but supermarket around the corner and a few re... Read more

We have just arrived back from our visit to Portals Nous after a weeks holiday at the Ola Tomir Hotel. The hotel itself is situated in a quiet spot with the marina and resturants just a few minutes walk away. There is a small store at the back of the hotel but it sold imported British foods at a high price so we tended to head to the local shop in the town which was far cheaper. As you exit the hotel and head down towards the Port, you pass a few decent restaurants, Marineland is close by and t... Read more

We have just got back from a weeks holiday at the Ola Tomir, and we had a great time. We booked a week half-board through Thomson at a very reasonable price. Transfer time from Palma is only around 20 minutes (we had a coach transfer). We arrived at around midday and were told our room would be ready at 2pm. Not a problem as they have a secure luggage room and we strolled down to the port for lunch. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke really good English. When we go... Spent 10 lovely days at Tomir, myself my wife and two kids 10 and 7. My wife booked the holiday. Which is a first as that is normally my job and I my say I was pleasently su prised. I think it must have just recently had a referb as our apartment was very clean. We stayed halfboard and the food was always good with a resonable choice. The pool was never too busy, so we could always get a sunbed. All the staff where very helpful and the kids enjoyed the water polo with Pab and Alex. The beach wa... Read more

We travelled in a large party to the ola Tomir and stayed for 7 nights. We arrived at the hotel around midnight upon on our first night and to our horror the man on reception told us that two of our travelling party were going to be picked up in a taxi in a few minutes and sent to a hotel in Santa Ponsa for the night as their was a "technical issue" with their room. They did not receive any apology from the man on reception at the time and he couldn't have been less sympathetic or cared. He trie... Read more

Just got back from our seven day holiday which was on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel was extremely clean and staff very friendly and helpful. We did not have a refurbished room which we would have liked but the room we had was spacious and kept very clean and the beds were comfortable. We did not bother with the television as it was in the wrong position to watch and was not a flat screen.Portal Nous was wonderful and we enjoyed going to the many restaurants all within walking distance. We lov... Just arrived home today after a lovely week at this hotel, our hotel room was okay unfortunately wasn't one of the refurbished rooms but still was very nice! There was always a good choice of food and the staff worked really hard to make your stay more enjoyable especially the animation team! If your wanting a chilling holiday I would recommend it

Breakfast very good. Dinner not so good, not enough choice, especially if a non meat eater. Food rarely hot. Not enough tables outside to dine and if sat inside, too humid. We were original on a 2nd floor and asked to be changed to a higher floor, but had to pay an additional cost. Not impressed that the rooms weren‚??t cleaned daily. Entertainment appalling, however the two guys running this tried their best! Children‚??s disco started at 9.00 pm!!!! Bar area too dark and dismal. Hotel is ... Read more

I have just come back from a 7 night stay at ola tomir and I honestly can't fault it at all, it was so much more then I expected for a 3 star hotel. Me and my friend were very lucky to get one of the refurbished rooms which was absolutely amazing and by far the best apartment I have stayed in abroad. All of the staff at this hotel work so hard to keep their guests happy and entertained, which is lovely and they are always there to make you smile. Big shout out to the animation team- we did not... I went to Ola Tomir, Portals Nous at the beginning of September with my friend, and cannot fault this hotel! Booking this holiday, me and my friend expected a standard 3* hotel room (usually a little dated and very basic), however we were given the nicest hotel room we have ever stayed in abroad on the 7th floor of the hotel. We were lucky to have one of the refurbished apartments, which had all white interior, free air con, and was extremely clean, with a pool and beach view.. I don't think the... Read more

Dear Customer Service Department, I am writing to advise that our holiday was far from impressive, sadly we were very disappointed all round and would not recommend to family or friends. We arrived into Palma airport in the early hours of the morning with our 16 month old and proceeded to the Transfer coaches, we were met by a member of the coordination team who sent us to a bus, we were promptly told by this bus driver No! No! not here but given no further instruction on where to proceed to. A... Read more

We booked through Thompson as it was a cheap package deal, B&B 7 nights. We haven't booked a package for 6 years as we normally arrange ourselves due to us preferring more flexibility and generally better value for money. It's worth mentioning too we despise all-inclusive style holiday / resorts, this isn't a holiday / cultural experience to us. As soon as we left the airport upon arrival we knew why, horrendous queues for the bus transfer and waiting around. Then once boarded it was inevitab... Read more

We stayed here for 7 nights and can honestly say it was fab. Arrived at silly o'clock in the morning and found the Thomson staff at the airport were not the best and just pointed to a bus and left you to it. On arrival at the hotel we were met by a friendly night receptionist who was very helpful and gave us the Thomson paperwork. This is the only negative to this holiday as everything else was good. The room that we had was 906 and this had a pool and sea view, it was also on the top floor... Read more

I came here with my family, wasn't expecting the most amazing place as it's only 3* but I was expecting better. ROOMS & MAIDS: The rooms are lovely newly re decorated but in our room the bathroom doorway beading on the floor all came off and we caught out feet on that. The maids come in every other day and give you fresh towels but do no cleaning or changing of bed sheets. ENTERTAINMENT: Pool and evening entertainment was terrible, during the day they played one game of water polo and then d... Read more

we are just back from 7 days in Ola timor , self catering . We booked a speedy shuttle transfer which means you are in the first four stops which sounds good what they don't tell you is that you sit on a bus for an hour until it is full so pointless really you save no time. On previous holidays we had a people carrier or minibus as a speedy transfer. Got to the hotel which looks ok from out side ,paid new tourist tax and got a safe for 15euro for week + 3 euro deposit all pretty standard. Our... Read more

Last minute booking which turned into a real gem! arrived really early in the morning so didn't get much time to take in the surroundings. the ground floor reception bears no resemblance to the rooms which are really modern & very comfortable, fab bathroom!. The Hotel staff were very nice & couldn't do enough for you, food for breakfast was the usual multi cultural mix but everything was fresh & hot where necessary. Pool was small but we had no problem getting beds etc not sure what it would be ... Read more

Had a really nice stay here for one week with my Mother and grandparents. Breakfast and dinner buffet lived up to my expectations every day, the rooms were amazing (the newer ones), clean and we did not experience a lot of traffic noise. Only thing to point at was the noise from the ac in the rooms around our.

I have just come back from my stay at the ola tomir hotel and I was not left disappointed. The room we was given was very basic and wasn't one of the newly refurbished ones but was clean and decent enough to stay in. The cleaners make the room up and give clean towels 3 times a week and the beds are changed once a week, I wasn't too keen on this however you can request extra towels at reception. The pool area is kept clean, however the pool is freezing but I could imagine it would be lovely and... Read more

We had to upgrade for a better room, this was a studio which was better, beds were comfortable, had a kettle & a microwave, the shower & air con worked. My husband and I are just back from a week‚??s stay at this apartment block. We were not lucky enough to get one of the refurbished apartments but the apartment we had was perfectly adequate and spotless. The shower looked liked it would not be powerful but it was and there was plenty of hot water at all times of the day. The kitchen area was well fitted with enough crockery and cutlery supplied. The beds although extremely hard were in fact comfortable. When we arrived we questioned one o... Read more

A group of 7 of us stayed here for a long weekend. It was the perfect base for exploring and enjoying the Portals marina, shops, bars and restaurants. Checkin was not available until after 2pm but that is to be expected. They were happy to securely keep our bags whilst we went out for a walk and early lunch. The reception and restaurant areas are a little dated but the refurbished suites that we had were great. Clean, modern and spacious with a good bathroom and shower. There was also a handy mi... Stayed here with my sister in July. Got a cracking deal through Thomson holidays and on arrival at 4am felt we had struck it lucky when we got one of the newly refurbished rooms. On arrival the night Porter was ok pleasant enough told us the basics and to not bother with paying for the WiFi as it wasn't worth it. He said that the restaurants and bars down the road mostly had free WiFi. We visited a small bar Sundowners just around the corner from the hotel so were able to get our social media f... Read more

Recently stayed at Oia Tomir, suite was recently refurbished lovely and clean, high rise and quiet location as requested . The food was varied and plentiful , all the staff were polite, friendly and cheerful, any request was catered for efficiently . Only down side was the limited entertainment , but no big problem . Would certainly stay again.
