Just returned from this hotel after a quiet relaxing break. The hotel staff were so friendly. The pool area and gardens were very well kept. Bus stops every 10 minutes outside hotel for Palma which is about 20 minute bus ride for around 2euros a bargain! Nice beach with beach bar restaurant a 10 minute walk down hill (catch the bus back up the hill if you don't want to walk) I would definitely visit this hotel and area again, however if your looking for buzzing nightlife forget it.

We are enjoying our final day in the sunshine at this lovely hotel. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome by Tomas at reception. Manager Juan then introduced himself and wished us a happy stay. Our corner room is perfect! It's on the 4th floor and has a huge double balcony and spectacular sea views and across to Palma. Meal times have been so relaxing and enjoyable thanks to the superb staff. They are friendly and efficient and seem to take pride in their work, nothing is too much trouble... Read more

On our early morning arrival we were greeted by Thomas the receptionist who quickly allocated us a room on the 4th floor but politely told us that it was not quite ready. However, the wait for access to the room was short during which time we enjoyed drinks at the poolside bar. The room was spotlessly clean and had an excellent panoramic view of the surrounding area made possible by the double balcony on which chairs provided comfortable and relaxing viewing of the sea and passing boats. I booked this for my parents who are 65 and 70 and they have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. I think it is perfect for a quiet holiday in a quiet resort in majorca. Only 30 min on bus to palma. They said the rooms, pool, food extra was all excellent, but mostly they said it was the amazing, friendly staff who went out of there way to help. They have stayed at numerous big hotels over the years and they said the staff here where by far the best they have had, especially the w... Read more

Our overall thoughts about the hotel was very good, especially the breakfast and the waiters who served us were very friendly. The staff is the hotel's main asset. Hotel is reasonably priced and close to the city. Our room was kept clean and we enjoyed also relaxing by the pool. Originally we booked a double room but we were given a spacious bungalow with a big terrace instead which was even better. The view from our terrace was OK except the fact that there were some abandoned apartments next... Read more

I can only echo what other reviewers have said. We have stayed in 5 star hotels and not had the service and friendliness of the staff. The Manager, Juan goes out of his way to be welcoming to everyone, also the dining room staff do the same. They all work very hard are smart professional and friendly. We stayed in a garden bungalow which had nice views over the sea and was very spacious and clean, the only negative here would be that the bathroom could do with updating and with better quality to... This hotel is very dated its sister hotel just across the road is far superior . As other reviews stated the staff are very helpful in all departments of the hotel and were very patient with my 18 months old gran child. The cleaners in particular work so hard and keep the rooms very clean changing sheets each day if necessary. The rooms need urgent decoration and please new curtains. Wifi was poor as stated before. The restaurant was pleasant and air conditioned as was our bedroom. I found... Read more

Good hotel in a wonderful place! We stayed with family in bungalow with big terrace and nice view to the sea. There are also two pools that are working in the night as well, just that there is no safeguard at that time. Still, you can use this relaxing opportunity after long day walking. We certainly loved the food and welcoming drinks. Also, as my father had birthday, the staff surprised him with a cake during the dinner, as well as sang "Happy Birthday" and offered some champagne. We are currently staying at this hotel and from the minute we arrived have been overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness shown by Juan and his staff. We were allocated a room which was not ready (this did not worry us as these things happen) but we were immediately allocated another room with outstanding sea views and within minutes we received a complimentary bottle of Cava. Then the following day was my wife's birthday we received gifts from our maid of chocolates, a gift from Juan the Director and... Read more

Very friendly staff, that is the best impression of this stay. The room however was a disappointment. Stayed in a Bungalow nr 764, which we where told was the Senior suite. The suite was quite big but very simple. Furniture was simple and not very nice. The daily cleaning of the room was not good at all. They did not change the used glasses and porslin or wash it. The floor was poorly cleaned with sand and dust left on it. Some big insects every morning on the floor outside the entrancedoor. Po... Read more

Our stay at the Riu Bonanza Park was great. Everything about this hotel was fab and would highly recommend it. The staff are so friendly and would do anything for you. So thoughtful that one night they surprised a member of my family with a birthday cake, champagne and chocolates when they returned to their room. An excellent location when visiting Mallorca, and such nice people at the hotel, cleanliness, great food & service. Thomas at the front desk was so helpful in answering questions. I went with my childhood best friend and we booked nice tours. The beaches were perfect-not overcrowded, and just a short walk across the street. There are stores where you can buy water etc., also within a short walk. There is a bus stop outside which is convenient. I enjoyed the entertainment in the evenings. We did ... Read more

Having stayed at Riu hotels before and thoroughly enjoying it, I came back home yesterday feeling a little let down by this Riu offering. Room (268) was fine, basic but had everything we needed. The bedding was changed once in 4 days even though i cut my leg on the first day and it had left a blood stain on the top of the bedsheets, they just made the bed up which i thought was really quite poor. There was also short and curly hair all over the bathroom floor when we arrived (not pleasant!) B... Read more

Nice hotel but corresponds to three star hotel and not four. Lacks a lot of details. Rooms nice but not cleaned good everyday, bathrooms are really old. Beware that if you stay in a bungalow there will be some bugs and cockroaches in your room. View nice but totally spoiled by loud ventilation outside the kitchen so impossible to enjoy the view in the evening! Staff really quick and helpful but lacks 4star hotel professionalism. Arrived here about 9.45 in the evening. Quick check in and a welcome glass of cava. Although we were too late for the evening meal a cold buffet was provided for us. I thought our room was quite sparse. Nets and black out curtains at the window but no curtains and no pictures on the walls (which do make it a little more homely). Location: About 30 minutes from Palma Airport and 35 minute bus ride to get into central Palma (buses run every 10-15 minutes, very regular service). It was a fairly built-up area, although the actual hotel is a little oasis, as it lies within gardens and is peaceful, especially as the pools are at the back of the hotel away from the road.
