Loved the hotel's location, in the heart of Burgos. Very close to the Dome and in the shopping area. The bedrooms is simply decorated and modern, spacious, and the bathroom is spacious. The hotel is very clean and quiet, there's free wifi in the rooms. The staff is friendly, we first got a room with a bad view, but they changed it right away when we requested and our view was facing the main street. Breakfast was nice but overpriced.

This hotel is perfect, friendly helpful staff and really well designed bedroom for work and pleasure Sadly the roof top bar is only open in summer Good three course meal and wine for E20! Be sure to visit Calle San Lorenzo off the Plaza Mayor. Full of great tapas bars and restaurants, where the locals eat! Buzzing at lunch time and evenings but closes during afternoons

Stayed here for one night on a business trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely. Didn't get to do With the room apart from a shower and sleep. Didn't use television. Wifi was a bit sketchy and slow but still useable. Breakfast was a great, lots of choice. Fresh fruit and homemade cakes ð???. Spot on.

Purposely booked 3 nights in this 4-star hotel after spending 2 1/2 weeks walking on Camino. Arrived w 4 bags because we were in transition. Booked rooms 3+ months in advance. Got to our room and it was size of postage stamp. With our bags we couldn't get to the bathroom. Immediately requested to have a larger room. Was told hotel was sold out but inquire the next morning to be moved. I did the following morning and staff told me hotel was full and couldn't get larger room. The staff person als... Read more

We stayed here for one night after walking 12 days on the Camino. We felt that we deserved this luxury after our efforts and weren't disappointed with the large spacious room and bathroom. The location was ideal and the staff were friendly and helpful. The choice of food at breakfast was excellent, would be more than happy to stay again when we recommence the Camino next year.

Great hotel in Burgos - right in the city center, easily walkable to various cafes/restaurants. The room itself was huge, bed was amazing (and big!), very clean, bathroom brand new, absolutely no complaints! Breakfast was also quite good with lots to choose from and delicious fresh fruit. Gladly would go back!

We had booked a superior room but we got upgraded to one of the best rooms so we were very happy with the room. It was very large, modern and comfortable with a large sitting area and a gorgeous terrace. The only problem would have been if the roof bar had been open, the terrace was right next to the bar and it could have been noisy, as it is it only opens on weekends and we were there on a week day so it was not an issue. The hotel is convenient to the park and a short walking distance to ... Read more

Pros: location, price, comfortable rooms, clean Cons: no morning coffee available unless you hunt down the guy (light is not put on and this happened two days in a row) or take the full breakfast, front desk manager (brown coat, larger woman....when I checked in I knew nothing of the city....she seemed annoyed when I asked for a map, she made a huge circle of the city which i could make out on my own and said "this is the city and we are here". Not friendly or helpful at all. It was a very bus... Read more

We were lookig for a modern and well ranked hotel in Burgos for 1 night (2 rooms, 5 people). First, it's very well indicated and perfectly situated, in center of the city ! This hotel is modern and very very clean. The rooms are quite big for the price with a very good mini-bar included. You have also a free WIFI in the rooms ;-) When I'm travelling for business we work with Marriott, Hyatt & co... Of course it's not a luxury hotel but it is a very good level of service regarding the price... Read more

I was made very welcome despite arriving at 1.30am. The rooms were well cared for and despite there being two open air concerts on the opposite side of the river we did not hear anything. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the tourists spots as well as good eating areas and shops. On your way round the town look out for the quirky statues of ordinary people especially the young lady in a wheelchair. One fault was the safe did not work and was not repaired during my stay.

The staff overcame a checking issue very professionally and made me feel welcome. Often time the customer is one blamed , but this hotel accepted a hotel facilities error , and upgraded me for their mistake. Not that the upgrade makes me recommend the hotel, but the professional staff and general feel if the hotel. Perfect central location and amazingly easy to find via SatNav

Very clean modern hotel. Good location. We did have a problem with our air conditioning during the night and the desk staff in the morning were extremely apologetic and discounted our parking fee. Good customer service. Would recommend

This is a great hotel and very close to everything being only a 10 minute walk to get you to the centre. Even though it is close to everything the hotel is lovely and quite which is perfect. The hotel is also pet friendly and the rooms are a decent size especially when you have a Labrador with you. The room has everything you want hairdryer, decent shower, TV and nice complimentary stuff like shower gels etc... The staff are very helpful and friendly and they speak very good English. The ... Stayed here for two nights this month and other than the reasonably good location, there's not much that made it worth staying at. The desk staff appeared indifferent at best and the beds were hard. First hotel we've ever stayed at where there wasn't even Kleenex in the bathroom .

If driving, entrance to their underground car park is just before the lay-by 20 metres before the traffic lights. Would be fun to park here in a big car ;-). Staff ok but going through the motions. Room ok, clean etc. but dark with brown furniture, carpets etc. even the mural was brown. View from the window of small atrium where we could watch the lift going up and down. Mostly business clientele, the hotel was a little noisy in the morning as people got up for work/meetings etc. It was cheap th... Read more

This hotel was very convenient for the town which seemed to be very much valued by the local community.Car parking at the hotel is incredibly tight - we have a small family car [Hyundai i20] and it was incredibly tight trying to park. We were advised we had been upgraded to a 'superior room'. To be honest if this was a superior room I dread to think what the standard room was like. The accommodation was fine just not including those things one would expect to be standard in a 4* hotel. Would pr... Read more

The hotel is centrally located with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The town has some good shops and if you want a walk, there are parks and a pretty riverside walk. Travelling as a member of a coach party was a disadvantage as far as the hotel was concerned. The bedroom was dismal, had a big stain on the carpet and overlooked the lift. Our party was allocated a separate room for breakfast with different food to that served in the main restaurant. On our last morning the toaster was missi... Read more

Our room was clean and modern. The bathroom is somewhat difficult to use, especially the shower. The door doesn't seal well, so the floor was quite wet at the end of a very fast shower. Plenty of storage though in the bathroom. We were on the street side so it was somewhat noisy during the day, but a uieted down after 9pm. The parking garage is a little scary getting into, but we liked the fact that our car was out of the elements and safe.

If you ever visit Burgos, you must stay at Hotel Silken Gran Teatro. The hotel has very spacious rooms, perfect if you travel with children, it was our situation. Location is excellent, just a five minute walk from the heart of the city and the catedral. Rooms are also clean and comfortable, and have natural lightning. The TV in the room is a little bit small, but enough. We didn't have breakfast included in our room rate, but this is no problema since there are lots of cafés nearby. Service an... Read more
